Hello everyone, thanks once again for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I really am thankful for my new big ottoman. I say mine, but most of us kitties do use it and Simon and I have even shared it. I’m no small kitty and you can see how much room I still have. It really is soft and comfy with oodles of room to stretch out.
Seal hasn’t taken a liking to the new big ottoman yet. She isn’t afraid of it, she just doesn’t linger here. She doe like to share the new big share chair with our Mom though. When the Mom is sitting in the new big share chair she goes bouncing right across the new big ottoman to get to Mom. She is a funny one!
VET UPDATE: I’m so thankful that so many of you keep sending me well wishes, I love you too. We got the results back on my pending labs/tests, etc. All is pretty much the same and I do have early Stage 2 CKD and it looks more and more like I have either IBD or Lymphoma. So, in order to try and find our for certain, if there is such a thing, I will be having an endoscopic biopsy on Thursday, September 2nd. We will get the results back about a week after that. Yes, I’ll paw out my Thankful Thursday post that day like I usually do.
So what are you thankful for today??? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Fun new furnishings at your place. Yay! Praying for you and hoping all your tests are have good results. You just kick back and enjoy. HUGS across the miles to all of you.
Lots of hugs to you, i pray for good results. We’re thankful the rain didn’t last too long.
We can see why you’re loving that ottoman time, Brian. Funny how Seal bounds over it to get to the share chair. 🙂
We’ll keep right on purring and praying for some good test results, dear pal. We love you lots!
That does look very soft and comfy! Hope everything turn out fine, Brian.
And they’re room for some us human.
Coffee is on and stay safe
That is a really fine ottoman Brian. I would love one at our house but Dads wheelie chair would Bump into it. We have been sending lots of purrs and prayers your way and hope things work out. Darn our kitty kidneys they give so many of us problems.
we will cross all paws for that day and we hope there are good news to share after… all the good luck dear brian…
Paws crossed you get some answers with the endoscopy, Brian.
That is a lovely ottoman, Brian. I am keeping you in my thoughts for good test results. My vet once told me that the average age for a cat used to be 10 years, but with modern medicine they can double that. He said that the problem is that the kidneys don’t keep up so need a helping hand.
That is a FABULOUS ottoman for napping – you can roll around without worrying about falling off! We will hope for the very best outcome from your tests dear Brian….we will continue to send you POTP as long as you need it. Promise!
Love, Teddy
We sort of know that “whatever will be, will be”, and yet dear Brian, our paws are together that what will be in your doctor-vet’s reports will “be all good”. For that we’ll be most thankful, every day.
We keep sending you GBGV hugs and hope they can figure out what is ailing you and get you a good recovery plan.
I’m thankful for you, Brian. I have to tell you that mom and I truly love all of you, and I also have to say that you have a place in our hearts, particularly. Ever since we read your story.
And Brian, thank you again for wearing your hate in your header picture. It would not be the same without you in your masculine -as-you-are hat~
We’re glad you enjoy that new ottoman, Brian! We’re continuing to purr and purrayer for you and hope the upcoming ordeal will be over quickly. ♥
Oh meow is me, Brian dear furiend, an endoscopic biopsy?!? That sounds alarming!!! I, for one don’t tolerate the thermometer, so I don’t think our v e t would ever dream of such a diagnostic procedure for me.,,, I hope whatever the problem is gets diagnosed and cured a s a p.
Wow, we wish we had a new Otto Man. Our old one died and Dad took it to the Otto Man cemetery for a proper burial. Today we are going to be thankful in advance for the best possible diagnosis next week for you, Brian. XOX Xena and Lucy

My second blog will not cooperate here to leave a message. So hello again and now how much I enjoy seeing you all here. You get to feeling better and enjoy that new ottoman. I think you have a good vet who truly cares. Rare in the world today to have anyone care for us. Don’t woory, be happy. HUGS to all
We have a bit ottoman here too and Woodrow and Harley can often be seen sharing it. Sending continued hugs for good test results.
Brian praying with all of my might that it isn’t lymphoma…….the biopsy isn’t invasive then, right? I am glad you have a non-invasive option. Sending tons of healing purrs and prayers……we are having something going on with Roary (started a few days ago, vomiting and loose stool)……some white dots showed up on his xray which the Vet actually wondered if it could be cat litter. He’s on an appetite stimulant and is eating…….needless to say I’m quite worried……he’s just barely a year old. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. xoxo
Prayers for your tests to have good results 😍
Oh, sweetie. Please take care. ~hugs~ And enjoy your cozy furniture!
