Howdy gang, it’s Tabby Tuesday time and I hope your Tuesday is most fabulous! Tuesday is pre-hump day and it’s the day I get to say whatever is on my mind. Well yes, I do say whatever is on my mind every single day, often it’s pet me please.
I do like to lay up here on the back of the couch and watch the world go by sometimes. I’ve told you before, there is lots to see from up here, plus there’s plenty of room for my tail. I did see something new out front, down below where on of our beds for our flowers is, it was a snake wiggling by. I’m pretty sure it was a baby one and I haven’t seen it since.
If I see anything out of the ordinary I’ll sound the alarm. More than likely though, if I see something out of the ordinary I’d probably run. Oh, someone asked Dad if Seal was a talker since she is mostly Siamese. Nope, she doesn’t talk all that much, I’m the talker. I chat all day long. My Mom says my meow sounds like a sheep MOL!
Okay, time for more world watching . Have a fun Tabby Tuesday. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
like a sheep LOL… that’s funny!
It is good to have a place to watch the world go by, Simon. We had a snake in the garden yesterday too. I think it was trying to disguise itself because it was beside the hose pipe. I was going to water the flowers and it wiggled and I hollered!
MOL…I can imagine how you sound, Simon, it must be a life before this one thingie🙊Enjoy the world! Pawkisses for a wonderful day to all of you🐾😽💞
That’s a perfect spot from which to OBSERVE things happening outside AND inside. Snakes? EEEEK.
We would love to hear your meow, Simon! It’s fun to see what’s going on outside. We get snakes sometimes, but more often we get slow worms. #1 doesn’t like it when we harm them…
Purrs,
Tama and Benny
now that is wierd, a baaaaa talking cat.. wish I could hear it.. you look soooo beautiful draped over the sofa, like you are on the runway as a model..
Simon, I’d love to hear that unusual meow of yours. By the way, do you all talk to your Mom and Dad in a regular cat voice? I do to mine…it’s very soft and just barely over a whisper kinda…and I may say 4 cat words to mom when chatting. It happens when I get on her lap or when I climb up to her on the bed. OR if I am settling by her head.
Simon sounds like a sheep? Who would have thought now, that’s a spicy piece of info LOL
You’re so lucky, Simon. I wish my mom would arrange the sofa in front of our window so I could spend the day looking outside and barking my head off at everybuddy who walks by!
Simon,
I’m curious, are tabbies frequently talkers or is that just a Simon thing? If so, then this might mean my spirit animal is a Tabby. 🙂 I hate snakes, even baby ones. I don’t like things wiggle. Sometimes, when I open the front door a skink will scurry out of sight scarring me half to death in the process until I realize what it is. lol Enjoy watching the world go by, my furriend!
I would love to hear how you meow like a sheep, Simon 🙂
You have the purrfect spot to watch the world go by. I love your tail and I love that you’re a talker. I would listen to you.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
EEEK…a snake!! We would run and hide!
Oh my, wouldn’t you have wanted to get to that baby snake. Gald it was not crawling up the window, you might have torn the place down trying to get to it! Adorable, fluffy tail you have there baby. Not sure about you guys but my furs seem to think wtih all the rain we have had that we might slide off our hill. The furs have not wanted to be on the deck due to it being so damp. But that has brought Misty to want to spend more time with her mom! I love it.
It would be amusing to hear you meow like a sheep, Simon!
Happy Tuesday!
That looks like a good vantage point to watch from, Simon! We see an occasional snake here too, mostly non-venomous and harmless, fortunately.
Simon world watching is a favorite activity of mine too. You have the purrfect perch too.
OMCs your glorious fluffy tail is dangling beautifully right smack in the middle of the couch too. Is it always that full or have you spotted a tree rat?
Hugs Cecilia
That looks like a very comfortable spot to hang out and look out the window.
Your folks should record you meowing for us. 🙂
Hi Simon! Can I come and World Watch with you? I like to World Watch on my couch too! Love, Roary
Simon you are an excellent watcher and we are glad you keep an eye out for all in your home. Now let me hear that Meow-Baa, Hee, Hee
It’s great to have a place to watch the world go by your house.
Somehow I’m not surprised you’re the chatty one. You have a lot of personality and a lot to share.
That is a good spot and a fluffy tail. Great 😀
You need a whole couch to give that tailio of yours room, Simon!
Lots to see outside your windows!
A baby snake? Wow! We don’t get much action at our windows. And now that our hummers are all but gone, we’ll have to settle on falling leaves once they turn.
Wow, Simon, you saw a snake? That’s pretty cool!
Ava used to be very quiet at the shelter, and then when she first came home with us. But she is quite the talker now, too. 🙂
I’d love to hear your meow, Simon.
Simon, I have to know, do you bang the vertical blinds? TW will open them like that for me but I’ll still bang them back and forth.
Snakes are awesome creatures!! We have lots of them in our yard…and petcretary has to rescue them a lot from the jaws and paws of the two terrierists here, cause they wan to eradicate them…phooey, they eat a lot of things we do not want here in our yard. The prettiest snake we saw was a blue racer. Like a long wriggly slithering jewel!
SOmetimes we find the shed skins of various snake species.
Sometimes you want to sit in a window and watch the wheels go round and round.
Never heard of pre hump day.
Coffee is on and stay safe
Mau was our big talker; though, Cooper Murphy can get going pretty well, usually in the middle of the night. Our angel MacKenzie sounded like a sheep when he meowed. We never knew another cat who did that until you, Simon. Thankfully, we have never seen a snake in our yard! XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
You’re so cute, Simon. And our Jezebel makes what I’ve termed ‘lamby calls’. Heh…
You do a great job of ‘watching’ ~ that tail of yours is awesome ~ sweet photo of you too.

You do have a good spot to check out what’s happening out there. Must be a good place to have a little snooze, too.
Charlee: “Ooh! I saw a snake once on the patio! I was at the door and it slithered on by. Dada noticed me looking at it through the screen door and came to check it out and said it was harmless.” Lulu: “I saw a snake once too! It was out in the yard by the back gate. Dada noticed me watching it from a few yards away and came to check it out and said it was, uh, not harmless. He called the fire department to come and collect it.” Chaplin: “Really? What was it?” Lulu: “Well apparently it… Read more »
We had a cat that talked a lot like a sheep, his name was Takanumi. He was pure white and looked like a Turkish Angora.
Keep watching the world, you never know what you will see.
