Hello gang, thanks once again for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today, I am thankful that I feel like hanging around on the back of the couch again, I really am. I do like the new couch and of course the new ottoman too, even the big share chair is nice. Yes, I’ve shared it with the Mom a time or two. Seal and Mom share the share chair lots though.
I’ve had a wee bit of a headache though, at least the Dad says I look like I have a headache. Hey, this drug withdraw stuff isn’t easy and it sure isn’t for the faint of heart. I’m thankful it’s moving along though. I’m also thankful that I have my Mom and Dad to help me thought this stuff.
So, what are you thankful for today??? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Getting off of medications is not easy, i think you are being a real trouper!
We are glad you are getting closer to being weaned off those meds, Brian. And so grateful that you are doing okay, and have Mom and Dad to help you. Purrs and love to you all.
I am thankful for the rain we had today. The temperatures are getting cooler, and that autumn aroma has arrived. Time to light the home fires and curl up on the couch, just like you!
I am so so happy for you, Brian. You do look so much better!
I am sending some purrs your way Brian, to help with your drug withdrawls.
We are all really thankful that you are doing well and have such a great family dear friend. We are also thankful for our own health that has been pretty good for older folks and myself for my speed and agility. Oh I like sleeping a lot too but when I go I GO
Toby
we hope that headache feeling will go away soon… and to spend such days on da couch is a super idea…
Ouch, headaches can. be so not fun at all…but hopefully it will go away when you readjust to your new med routine, Brian:)
I am glad you are feeling so much better apart from the headache, Brian. Drug withdrawal is not easy but it can be done.

Pretty shot ❤
We are so glad that the back of the couch makes you feel better, Brian.
We are glad to hear the drug removal process is continuing pretty well for you. How crazy you were on all those meds you didn’t really need.
Brain,
I don’t like headaches. I have them frequently but it’s not from drug withdrawals just stupid allergies usually. These things take time and it’s best to be off stuff you don’t need to be anywho. I’m glad your mom and dad love you so much! Enjoy that nice comfy spot on the couch. 🙂
That’s a great “hangover”, Brian. We sure hope you’re off the meds and feeling so much better soon. Lots of purrs to you. ♥
… we are always thankful for you, our dear Brian …
Feel better today! My handsome buddy!
We hope you feel better and those nasty drugs get out of your system soon.
I am sorry you have to go through withdrawal. I am praying for you. Thank you for hosting. XO
you do look like you have a headache, that is how I look, 6 weeks of headaches, mine is better, not as often or as bad. your eyes look like mine do right now. feel better soon, hugs and love
Brian, I know it might be tough getting off that medicine, but you’ll be so much better when you are. Sending you purrs.
We’re thankful that you’re feeling well enough to hang out on the back of the couch. Our paws are crossed that you do well while you reduce your medications, too.
Detoxing isn’t easy one bit, but I think it’s the way to go. I know your peeps watch you closely. We are thankful that your peeps keep us up to date.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
OMCs Brian I can identify with your headache. I bet it would be very much like a human trying stop drinking caffeine. Gentle head kisses
Cecilia
Precious Brian, you are so brave. We’re sending lots of POTP your way while you work through the withdrawals.
We are purring for you, Brian!
oh I bet you do have a headache. Changing your body chemistry would be hard on you, take it easy for a bit, rest, watch your pawrents and squirrels, nap, find comfort. Ask for pets to ease your transition. Love, LeeAnna and Milo
Charlee: “That looks like a cozy perch, Brian! But we’re sorry to hear about your headache!”
Chaplin: “We send lots of purrs for that to go away soon!”
Brian we hope that headache goes away soon, but we are glad you are otherwise doing so well. It’s good to have a nice couch spot as a hangout.
Oh glad you are enjoying the sofa and yes withdrawal from medication is not always easy ~ lots of healing energy hugs to you and glad you have your Mom and Dad to watch over you. Xo

Keep feeling better, sweetie. ~hugs~

through withdrawal. Hope you are doing well!! I’ll send lots of purrs to help you along!
Purrs, Julie
Sorry, you are having a bit of a down day. But you are being a real trooper getting off the drugs. Hang in there!
Happy October – hope you are headache free soon – glad you have a cozy couch and ottoman to hang out on!
With your wonderful parents, Brian, you will for sure do just fine. You are so lucky to have found them. We wonder if we would like to hang out on the couch or on the back of the couch, but we have not tried that.

I’m glad you have mom and dad to help you too.
Hang in there Brian ! You will get there !
Poor baby. You’ve been going through a lot 🙁
While we’re glad you are getting off all those drugs, we’re very sorry you may be having some withdrawals. While cats can’t take aspirin, maybe some CBD oil treats would help?? We have them and they’re yummy. XOX Xena and Lucy
OUCH….I hope you really don’ t have a headache. They are real PAINS….oops, sorry that was not funny.
Whoa! Drug withdrawal and you don’t even have methadone to help. Sending healing purrz and some good luck charm.
Oh I hope your headache goes away soon. I don’t like drugs and yet I know sometime we all need them. But they can cause some discomfort. You take care, rest well and know how loved you are by many. You have a wonderful support in your beautiful phamily.
You have learned, like humans, that, when you don’t feel well, there is nothing better than the couch.
Look like you enjoy being part of your wonderful family.
Coffee is on and stay safe
Sounds like things are going a bit better! Kudos on hanging in there!!
I hope you keep continue to feel good, Brian, I have to say that you look great, even if you have a headdache. We’re Thankful to be here today to see what’s going on with all of you ♥ Pawkisses for a wonderful weekend to all of you🐾😽💞
