Hello everyone, it’s me Simon and I’m here with my sister Seal. Today is our Gotcha Day, yes, it really is and we’re going celebrate by just being us, we’re good at it. Most of you know our story, but for those of you who are new we’ll give you a brief overview. We hope that is okay with you.
We were both wee feral kittens and we both showed up outside just days apart. We were both alone and no Mama in sight. Since we were two kittens alone we bonded pretty quickly and were both together, always together. The man dude who is now our Dad was doing kitty trapping out back and had eight traps set. Seal was the first one in a trap, dang. The other six traps had takers over the next couple of hours. It was getting dark and I really missed Seal so I (Simon), decided to go in the last trap.
We ended up going somewhere strange, going to sleep, and then we woke up we were without some of our parts. We were headed back here to be released in the back yard but the humans, now known as Mom and Dad, decided that we needed to be safe and were going to live inside.
Seal was pretty scared but was relatively calm. Me, Simon? I immediately totally trashed the big bathroom trying to get out. There was stuff everywhere. So, our new Dad decided we had to live in the big bedroom and big bathroom for a while. It was almost a full year until I calmed down and then Seal and I were able to come out in the house with everyone else.
We’re both glad we’re not living outside anymore and we’re so happy to be able to celebrate a Gotcha Day. Thanks to all of you for coming by to celebrate with us!
