Hello everyone, we sure had some cold temps here over the weekend, it was a touch of Brrrrrr Humbug fur sure. I think our ferals kept warm enough though since the Dad filled their houses with all fresh straw bedding. It was funny to see them come out in the morning with bits of straw in their furs.
Speaking of Brrrrr Humbug, I get to go out in the cold this morning for a long ride across town to the Vet. Oh, nothing is really wrong, it’s my annual rabies shot time and that shot is required in South Carolina. So we’ll be off to see my regular Vet. I just don’t like the car ride but I really do like our Vet once I get there.
I know that several of you have, in your comments, wondered how Simon was doing with his tail problem. He said to tell you that he’ll give you an update tomorrow. Have fun Monday and remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I am glad the vet visit is a routine one, Brian, ad hope it goes well.
we wish you all da good luck at the vet and we hope he has some tasty snacks for you…
Hope the shot didn’t hurt! I am due for one and Mom has yet to make an appointment….I wonder if she’ll forget totally?????
Hugs, Teddy
We hope that your vet visit goes well, Brian.
We hope there is nothing seriously wrong with Simon’s tail. We will go look for the post about it to find out what is going on. Scylla remembers her tail problem all to well. Purrs that your vet visit goes OK, we are sure your Dad will keep it nice and warm in the car for you. Scylla sends her love
Our cat bro Bert loves the car ride and the vet, he is crazy! Hope your shot goes well. We look forward to hearing about Simon’s tail tomorrow. Maybe call it a Tuesday Tail?
I bet that you enjoyed the shot too, Brian. Hope we can get some good news about Simon’s tail tomorrow.
Good luck, Brian. We’re glad it’s just for a regular thing, not a problem! Sending lots of purrs to you, Simon and to all.
I’ll be looking forward to Simon’s say! I have to get mine in March along with my senior exam Ewwww.
If it were me and my mama was typing she’d say the only thing wrong with my tail is that it’s too long! I’m always accidentally whapping things! luckily she knows why and is understanding. We’ll see you tomorrow, Simon my almost-twin, and good luck Brian!
Hope all goes well.

It’s a bit whacky that you’ve got brrrrr temperatures when you’re so much further south than we are. Hope that you and your ferals keep warm and cozy. And Brian, just enjoy the ride. You’ll be home again before you know it.
I hope all goes weell at the vets with your shot, it’s chilly and very dull here in London but then it’s usually like that here lol
I like your photo you look very regal as always Brian have a nicetastic journey to the vet and back 👍
The cold has reached us here and we finally had our first snow of the season but none of it stuck around. We’re sorry to hear you had to go to the vet but are glad to hear it is only for routine maintenance and nothing urgent.
Good luck at the Vet’s sweet one ~ Mom and Dad will take great care of you ~ Xo

Sorry you had to go to the vet, but glad you are not sick. XO
A veterinarian here wants our geriatric cat to get a rabies shot even though it’s not required in Ohio. Turns out she used to work in an area that saw a lot of infection. ~shudders~ Hope all is well and everyone stays warm.
Tell dad we appreciate him taking such good care of all of you, but all the feral kitties too. That’s wonderful.
Glad you love your vet and we’ll swing by tomorrow to see what’s up with Simon’s tail.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
Check-ups are a bother but gotta be done to keep you purring. Good to hear the ferals have a warm place to be when it is cold. And it has been cold here in SC. But so far the cold hasn’t been as bad as the heat and humidity was this summer. Looking forward to hearing good news about Simon’s tail.
Charlee: “Well if you gotta go to the vet, I guess it’s better for it to be for routine stuff than bad stuff!”
Glad Brian’s vet visit is just routine.
We’re so glad to hear this visit is fur regular stuffs Brian. Altho’, we hate that rabies shot too. And, it’s that time of year fur us. Ugh We’re sending hugs and purrayer fur all.

That looks like a comfy spot Brian, and I’m glad you are up to date on your shots. Looking forward to getting an update on Simon’s tail.
*whew*
We’re glad it’s just routine stuff.
Stay warm Brian!
Good luck at da vet!

Brian I think I heard your song to your people MOL MOLMOL
Angel Madi’s vet was about 5 minutes long (depending on the one stoplight). She started singing the song of her people
as I put the seat belt around her PTU…and often she went into first soprano mode too
I hope the sticky event went quickly
Hugs Cecilia
we are so happy that your dad takes such great care of you all in the inside and the ferals on the outside. straw is great for cold weather. glad it was only rabies shot time, we have the same law here. waiting to hear about Simons Tale of his tail… love you all
Bummer on the stabby place. We’re hoping Simon has good news about his tailio!
Hope you’re back home safe and sound!
Well, at least you have a fur coat to keep you warm when you went out in the cold, Brian. Hope your vet visit went well.
I’m glad it is nothing serious. I did not know you are in South Carolina. That is where Chris was born.
Those check-ups come up a lot quicker than they used to, i think. Every time i turn around it’s time again. Hope yours went well!
I am glad that you love your vet. That makes everything so much easier!
I hope the shot did not hurt. Everything hurts more in the winter.
We are glad that your vet visit is just a regular one. Jo Jo and Kozmo got a long drive next Monday for their visit. We will be back tomorrow to hear all about Simon’s tail! Have a marvellously Happy Day!
I’m glad your vet visit was a routine one, Brian.
Hope all went well Brian! I finally had my rabies shot a few weeks ago. I have to go back on November 20 for another shot! What’s up with THAT???!!! Love, Roary
Brain,
We’ve been having a touch of the chilly weather in east Tennessee, especially overnight. For the most part, our daily highs aren’t too bad. Cold conditions are coming and according to the Old Farmers Almanac we’re forecasted for cooler temps then normal. I’m not looking forward to that. Maybe, Mother Nature will prove them wrong. After all a mother is woman so anything is possible. 🙂
Oh, the smell of straw on a kitty…I miss that!
Brian, we hope your vet visit went smoothly, including the car ride. Misty and Timber will be off to the vet next week for some of their regular vaccines too.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We sure hope the trip to the vet went okay, Brian!
You look so comfy and warm up on your perch there! Yes, here it is cold…28 degrees this morning at 6:15 when Wolfie decided he *needed* to be outside! Sleepy hu-mom obliged. Deck was a tad slippery from the frost, but Wolfie embraced his true Husky self and loves it. He’s still out there! I’m inside, toasty, drinking coffee!
So glad your vet visit was just for the norm! Hope all is okay with Simon.
Stay warm!
