Howdy gang, I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday, it’s finally getting back to warm here in the South. We’re all happy with the sunshine and our feral family is glad to have some warm. It got down in the 30s here a couple of times overnight last week. Brrrrrr!
Anyways, I really hate to ask, but if you have some spare purrs could you send them my way please? I’d sure appreciate it. I have sort of an unusual problem, I have ED, ErectTail Disfunction. Seriously I do, I am unable to raise my tail to full heights. Nope, I don’t know what happened. I went to the Vet, against my wishes of course, and our Vet couldn’t find anything wrong with my tail.
Can you imagine a tail like mine and not being able to raise it up and fly it high? Hopefully what ever is wrong will fix itself. Dang, I hope it does. Okay, that’s enough about by problem. Catch y’all soon!
Have a wonderful Tabby Tuesday. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
that is a sad tuesday tail, dear simon… we send lots of potp to you and we hope it will help you and your tail….
Awww. We hope you’re feeling better soon, Simon. In the meantime, we’ll send you some of Bear’s Tiagra (remember Tiagra?! – if not, search “Wear your tail loud and proud” on our blog …).
Oh no, Simon! I hope your tail recovers and you can proudly hold it aloft again. Sending good thoughts for an erect tail!
May your tail again wave high and proud! Purring softly for you …
Sorry to hear that, Simon. Sending all the purr to your way, Simon.
Uhoh…..that’s a new one on me Simon but with that tail of yours it would be SAD if you can’t wave that flag all the way up!
Hugs, Teddy
We are sending lots and lots of healing vibes for your tail, Simon.
Oh No! Sending warm healing thoughts your way! I hope your tail heals soon💕
Gosh, Simon, that sounds a bit strange to us! Whatever happened to your tail, we sure hope it heals soon so you can wave it high. We’re sending all our purrs to you! ♥
That sounds terrible. We know dogs get something called swimmers tail which is really painful and they can’t move their tails. Hopefully your tail will fix itself. We’ve never heard of cats having such a tail issue and you have such a wonderful tail.
ErectTail Dysfunction? Seriously? Whoever gave that condition a name had a sense of humor. But there’s nothing funny about not being able to lift your tail high and proud. POTP and prayers coming your way for a flag at full mast soon. XOX Xena, Lucy, RIley and Chia
Oh, Dear. Sure hope that tailof yours regains iits functiioinality.
POTP, Simon!
Sweet Simon, this makes me sad and of course we will say prayers for you and that your tail will fix itself. I hope you are not in pain, and understand how important it is for you to wave that tail and use it for balance when leaping up and down.. hugs and pets coming your way…
Simon darling boy. I certainly will purr and pray for you.
I’m sorry you’re having tail problems, Simon. This happened with one of the cats that came before me. Turned out he had a small abscess where the tail meets the butt probably caused by getting bit or nailed by the other cat. A round of antibiotics did the trick. I hope your tail is better soon. ~Ernie
We hope your super tailio rights itself soon. We’ve never heard of anything like that.
Oh no that’s a new issue to us, hope it resumes its proud display soon. Our daughters cat has had a permanent droopy ear for a few years – strange things happen unfortunately.
Simon darling boy…you have my purrs and healing thoughts. I have heard of dogs having this but never a sweet kitty friend.
Cecilia
Oh, that beautiful tail! We hope it gets better soon, Simon. ♥
We’re sorry to hear your tail isn’t waving as high as it should be, Simon. Something similar happened to Millie once but with some rest she got back to normal. We’ll keep our paws crossed that you will be waving your tail high soon.
I am so sorry about your EtD. Maybe it will cheer you up to know my missing Luke Skywalker has returned. I have searched for him everywhere and his mother Olive did not know where he was either. Suddenly he has returned and is very hungry.
such a sweet kitty. i hope you feel better.

Have they checked for arthritis? My kitty Cashew couldn’t raise his tail. Had him Xrayed because of his walking troubles with the back legs and found out he has it in his lower back, start of tail, and both back legs pretty bad. He is able to raise it when you pet him now sometimes with being on pain meds. Sending hugs and prayers. We feel bad for you.
I sure hope the condition corrects itself and you’re in no pain. ~hugs~ Our temperatures got down in the upper twenties the other night. Brrr… Stay warm and safe.
One time Mr. Jinx had that same problem. It was only a for a few days and then everything was ok, we are purring the same for you too Simon.
Oh Simon, your poor tail! We are sending lots of POTP and hope that is gets better real soon!!
xoxo,
Rosy and the Gang
It could be your tail is too big and the muscles can’t handle it. You must start lifting weights with those muscles. I’m sending healing purrz to help you.
Well now, Simon…this is quite the fine kettle of fish!
As long as you aren’t in pain, that’s impawtant.
Hope the solution is just rest for your floofiness.
Simon, I hope your tail will cure itself and you’ll be able to raise it again. I’m sending you lots of healing wishes.
Gosh Simon – we send purrayers and POTP to you and your magnificent tail. Seems like Katie Isabella hurt her tail when she slipped off her cat tree – did you fall somehow ? We hope you get better soon.
Oh Simon, we are sorry to hear you have a problem with your tail. Our neighbor cat Nemo had a similar problem but he had an obvious injury and what they called “tail pull” trauma that left him unable to move his tail for about a week. Hopefully you just have a little inflammation that is preventing you from fully displaying your glorious tail. We’ll send lots of purrs your way and hope that your tail heals quickly and you are able to fly your floofy plume high.
Of course, poor guy.
What in the world???? At first I thought you were kidding because we always joke about that tail! Maybe his body weight can’t handle his giant tail? I don’t mean that in a rude way 🙏🙏❤️❤️
I am sorry about your tail. I added you to my prayer list yesterday sweet boy. XO
My prayer is you just pulled a muscle and it will heal.
Oh no! Sending lots of purrs your way…
Oh no! We hope your tail has a full recovery.
Oh deary me- sorry to hear your sad tail! Hope it recovers and behaves as it should! Hugs!
Charlee: “Oh no! Simon!”
Chaplin: “We are sending lots of purrs for your tail flag to fly high again soon!”
Lulu: “And I send fluffy tail wags! Because when you have epic tails like we do, everyone should see it!”
Aw, a kitty like yourself with such a fabulous tailio should be able to wave it at will! We is purring lots for you!
Of course we will send purrs your way. Hope you get better real soon
Oh dear, that is a problem we have not heard about before. You have such a glorious tail, Simon; we sure hope it is just a temporary thing and you will be flying it high again soon.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Simon, we are so sorry to hear about your tail! We are purring that it will be okay and back to normal real soon. XO
We are praying that your tail problems are behind you.
I woke up to snow.
Coffee is on and stay safe
I wish I could help you, Simon, but we have never heard about this problem, only when you were injured. Are you sure you didn’t fell from something, or bumped in on something or someone. If so, let me know! For now Healing Pawkisses and purrayers to get that tail up again and let it shine✨🐾😽💞
Sweet photo of you precious kitty and lots of distant reiki healing energy hugs to you ~ and all ~ Xo

I am sending lots of purrs your way, Simon. That’s terrible that you can’t lift your tail.
BIG PURRS for your pawsome tail Simon!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Purrs, Julie
Oh Simon! You DO have a glorious tail! We are sending you many purrayers! And Mom says you have a uniquely mischievious face. She says your probably get into things like I do.
Simeon we are sending healing purrs for your tail. Maybe your pulled a muscle or something but it’s very strange that the vet couldn’t find anything wrong. Scylla remembers her tail woes all too well
