Howdy gang, I hope you had a good weekend, we did, it was fun watching the Mom and Dad do lots of things to get ready for Christmas. One of the things I forgot to mention is that the Dad scrubbed the carpets. Now the carpets smell funny and we’ve all got to work hard to get them back to smelling like normal.
The Dad got most of the outside decorations up on Saturday and on Sunday he put the Christmas mural on the garage door. The Dad was happy that the weather was nice so he could get the outside things done. It’s supposed to be wet and messy later in the week so now he doesn’t have to worry about iti.
I sure am glad that my Mom put my Ham-mick right next to the Christmas Tree, that’s sure a win, thanks Mom! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
It’s a good job the dad did all the jobs before that rotton weather moves in 👍
You look nice a snuggled next to that nice tree (=⚈ᆽ⚈=)
Haave a tinseltastic Monday 👍
now all things are purrfect… and the kitty has THAT plce what makes christmouse to da special feast…
WOW – nice that you can be comfy in your ham-mick close to the tree……Mom had to clear a spot for me UNDER our tree as I like to be on the skirt……it’s my favorite holiday spot!
Hugs, Teddy
That’s the perfect spot to be! It’s so festive and pretty.
Mom says our carpets need a scrubbing but she likes to wait for cold weather so the heat runs more and dries them faster. Enjoy your tree!
Look at those pretty twinkling lights, beautiful Brian.
Brian you have the best seat in the house!!!
Hugs Cecilia
That looks like the best spot to be, Brian. All cosy by the tree, and able to keep an eye out for Santa in about two and a half weeks. 🙂
your cot is in the purrfect spot to keep and eye on the tree, enjoy the beautiful glow, while you wait for Santa to show with a bag full of nip toys… yay for the outside done..
You have a hammick! Who else loves it?
Sounds like a very productive weekend! So, the whole gang is ready for the holidays, I guess 🙂
Brian, I remember when I was a little girl how much I enjoyed laying beneath the tree and when I couldn’t do that any longer I liked sleeping on the sofa with the lights all aglow. It really isn’t safe to leave the lights on all night, especially when I was little. My folks used those big C7 (I think that’s right) Christmas light. The small twinkly lights eventually made it our Christmas decor in the early 70s and those cast a magical spell over beholder. I love the warmth and joy of Christmas lights to this day. I don’t… Read more »
Looks like mom and dad were busy this weekend. It’s good to get all the decorations done before the weather sets in. It’s supposed to rain here most of the week.
You sure look all happy near the tree, Brian. Great shot.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
A snooze in a ham-mick by the tree sounds purrfect!!!
We’re glad to hear the weather cooperated so you dad could put up the decorations outside. You sure look content to be napping on your hammock by your beautiful tree.
Sounds like you have your work cut out for you with smelling up those carpets. I hope you get paid well!
dood….thatz one awesum tree and one awesum hammick !! 🙂 ♥♥
Lulu: “What a pretty tree! I wonder why we never have one.”
Charlee: “I would totally be at the top of that Christmas tree.”
Chaplin: “Not if I got there first.”
Lulu: “Oh, right, that’s why.”
You look precious near the tree. 😀 And I’m glad your dad got things done. Today my outdoor decorations are getting blown around something fierce and my grapevine reindeer fell over. ~sigh~ Oh, well. Best wishes!
Gosh thats a nice spot to take a nap xoxo Little Miss Titch
Awwwww Kitty has a bed that’s not on the floor. That is just too cute. Thanks for sharing your cutie pie and his really cool bed. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! https://newxmasdolly.blogspot.com/2021/12/mondays-music-moves-me.html Love your gold Christmas trees too! Super! Also….. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS… you too Kitty!!!! PURRRRRRRRRR
I’m very happy to hear you are not trying to climb that Christmas tree! That would be disastrous! Your ham-mick looks super comfy.
Great decorations!
It is nice to have your Ham-mick right next to the tree. I see what you mean though about the tree being in a different position so you can’t hide from your meds.
Wow your own Christmas Tree
house is looking great with these new decorations. and the new hammock is a nice touch!
Are you protecting it from the others? Great photo <3
Your tree looks lovely. Pop is decorating as I type this. TW did the dusting over the weekend and this coming weekend, Fraser comes to town. Hohoho!—or isn’t that the noise trees make?
That is a great spot. Sounds like your Dad has been busy. XO
Guess you were busy supervising all the work being done. Good thing you have that comfy hammock to rest in. Even better that it is near the Christmas tree.
What a purrfect place to nap in your hammick!
We see you don’t even wanna lay on that nast smelling washed carpet, Brian. Y’all need to get busy making it smell normal again! Our Dad refuses to put up decorations anywhere, so we just have what mom does inside. XOX Lucy, Xena, and Chia
Our Mom did lots of the outside stuff early too. And she has been working on trees the past couple of days. Lots more to be done. Misty likes to sleep near the tree too. Timber is more interested in what is hanging there. And Lightning could care less:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
It’s such a fun, festive time of year, and wonderful to have all the decorations up.
There’s always something about a lighted Christmas tree that draws kitties in. It’s relaxing, right Brian? And I love your hammock, too. Just the right size. Hugs to efurryone!
Brian, you look terrific next to the tree! We watched our Mom fluff the tree on Saturday and then she decorated it yesterday. We all checked the tree out on Saturday, but we have left it alone since. I, Marv, have not been caught under the tree (or trying to climb it!) Mom left the cat tree right beside it and I have been sitting on the top of that and staring at the tree.
That is the best spot to see Santa.
We have 2 trees this year. A big one fer TBT and a little one fer us. Our prezzies will be unner ours. Size-matching, we suppose…
It’s looking a lot like Christmas at your house, Brian!
A lovely spot to be! It’s so cozy and festive!
awww that’s cause of your Gotcha Day story!! xoxo
