Review: Cop an Attitude by Hilary Grossman

Our friend Hilary Grossman has a new hit series on her hands and the first installment, Cop An Attitude, certainly gets the series off to a flying start.  The introduction to the main characters, right off the bat, gets the curiosity flowing.  What in the world is going on?  Do they know each other?  How could they?

Okay, here’s the Book Blurb:

______

Their reunion left a lot to be desired. Are they a disaster in the making or totally meant to be?

I kicked love to the curb for the greater good. After all, my soaring career would’ve made my family so proud, and men have a tendency to stop success cold. But I never expected a single and sexy police officer to pull me over, flirt with me, and then write me a ticket.

Now I see the infuriating cop everywhere I go. It doesn’t help that we have a past, and he’s an amazing dad to his daughter. And every time I want to get back to my small-town routine, I can only think about what my life would be like with the no-nonsense policeman…

I should really just forget the whole thing. But if I do, will I lose my last chance at love?

Cop An Attitude is the charming first book in the I Can’t Stop Loving You romantic comedy series. If you like engaging characters, enemies to lovers, and laughing out loud, then you’ll adore Hilary Grossman’s humorous walk on the wild side.

______

Waverly is an IT specialist and Pete is a Police Officer, both on a collision course after a late night traffic stop.  But wait, of course there’s more to the story and as it unfolds you’ll likely be smiling, as I sure was.  Both characters and filled with personality in their own unique ways.

I will tell you that you’ll probably have the urge to slap Pete up the back of his head along with giving Waverly a shake or two.  How in the world do these enemies, or frienemies, end up being in so many uncomfortable situations at the same time? Oh, they have history, some of which is most unpleasant for Pete.

I enjoyed the entire cast and, in typical Hilary fashion, I felt as if I knew them all.  The ending floored me, I did not see that coming.  You’ll enjoy this one from Hilary Grossman!

“probably have the urge to slap Pete up the back of his head along with giving Waverly a shake or two…” So true!!!!

Both could have used some physical punishment – LOL

Thank you so much for reading, reviewing, and sharing Cop an Attitude (and for being part of my author journey. I’m so thankful for your friendship)

Thanks for the review – sounds like a fun book – and that was quite the disclaimer you posted (furry butts – if I didn’t know better, I’d think you had a cat or two in your house!) 🙂
