Hello gang, thanks once again for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today, I’m really thankful for 3 things, well, I’m always thankful for more than that, but I’m going to tell you about 3 today. Our missing remaining feral kitty, missing since the snow storm from mid-January, showed back up to partake of some foods. We were sure glad to see her and we’re glad to know that she is okay too. She doesn’t hang around much but at least she was here.
I’m also thankful that we’ve had a run of “warmer” weather so that our feral family could recover from the freezing temperatures we’ve been having. It’s been in the 50s and 60s (F) and they’ve all been eating well and enjoying the warmer temps too. It’s fun to see them sunning themselves in the backyard.
Last, but certainly not least, we’re glad the bug that was going around has bugged out. Three of us had the sniffles, sneezes and runny eyes, Simon never got it. We’re thankful that the bug left quickly and before any Vet visits were needed. Thanks always a good thing.
What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
What good news about your feral friend! It’s great to know they are all okay.
Go away, bugs! When my kitties get any kind of sneezy fits or goopy eyes, i put a very good (expensive) colloidal silver in their eyes and noses, and it helps. The vet now believes me!
Me alegro que todos tu gatitos estén bien y a salvo . Les mando un abrazo.
Oh my I am so thankful the last missing feral is back! You do sooooo much for these kitties- thank you!
We love all your thankful things, Brian. We are over the moon that your missing feral reappeared. 🙂
Glad the feral kitty showed back up.
Coffee is on and stay safe
You have a lot of wonderful Thankfuls today.
that is a super news and we hope the kitty will visit you often… we are grateful for warmer weather too, even when it comes with rain….
Oh, so glad for NO vet visits and the return of the prodigal kitty! So wonderful when a kitty returns home, and we always think of Sawyer out there in the world and possibly not finding his way back! Thank heaven he did and thank heaven your feral returned! You must have a good restaurant for kitties!
No vet visits is always good news! I am very glad the missing feral has returned. Even if she didn’t hang around you know she is okay.
Brian I’m so glad your final feral who you hadn’t seen in a while returned. It’s a relief isn’t it. We will be happy when the warmer weather arrives but we have a lot more COLD coming first. Next day or two rain but perhaps more snow at night. I guess I’m just happy that Mom and Dad let me go outside from time to time and I’ve overcome my aversion to walking in snow! Thanks for hosting Thankfuls Brian!
Hugs, Teddy
So happy the feral kitties are all present and accounted for and the weather is better for them now. Glad you all are not really sick too!
Bye bye bad bugs … hello and welcome home to our feral family!
I am so happy about the feral being back. And I am glad you are all feeling better. Thank you for hosting. Have a great day> XO
We’re so happy the feral came back!! Those are all pawsome thankfuls!
We’re so glad your fourth feral showed up, Brian, that’s great news! As is that everyone is well now. We wish you could send some of those temps our way; we’re sooooo ready for spring, and it’s another couple of months away for us.
you can add that I am thankful for your 3 thankfuls, that the kitty is ok, you are not sick and Beau and I join your thankfulness for warmer weather. we walked today with out cold paws and frozen fingers.
I’m so happy the last feral kitty is back. That made me smile.
I’m glad you’re having some warmer weather. That’s always a welcomed event. I’m sure the feral kitties are enjoying themselves very much.
I’m glad you’re all well too. That’s great news. We feel so helpless when our babies are sick.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
That sure is a lot of things to be thankful for. We’re glad your lost feral kitty found her way back to you and none of you got too sick from that bug.
Brian, it’s wonderful to read that now all the feral cats are accounted for!
We know the feeling when one goes missing; I’ve hunted thought the ‘hood, looking for them!
It’s cold here, but it’s been colder, and the temps will go up again in a few days; glad to have a warm house with a roof!
Oh that is great that the feral have been coming back one at a time. Its always unsettling when a few come up missing and you have no clue where they are. I have found that sometimes they have more then one home they visit for shelter and food. Over at my other home I had a beautiful black and white feral that would come around, meowing at the back deck door for food. I would feed and water while he/she was there but usually after a couple of days, it was gone. I worried a bit till I saw… Read more »
So happy about the feral’s return and that the sneezes and sniffles are gone.
So glad the feral returned “home”. Most of all I’m glad the sniffles are all gone. My allergies have been acting up…air is too dry from the bitter cold here but I finally got out after the blizzard. Tomorrow we’re getting an ice storm??? Katniss says “Meow”…jp
What a relief to hear about the ferals…and I 100% agree the last few days have been so appreciated here too.
Thank goodness the sniffles are gone.
Hugs Cecilia

You are looking fine today Brian! I’m glad the bug is gone, we’ve been having sniffles as well. Weird that it effects some but not all – same thing here. Enjoy the warm, we’re enjoying snow which is rare for Texas, with the power on we can enjoy it so we are extra thankful for electricity today.
We are so happy that the feral kitty is back and that you’re all healthy once again!
You had some really thankful moments!! Enjoy your balmy weather. We are warm today but back down to below 0!!

Wonderful news all around! I’m SO happy all your ferals have come home!
Brian, Great news about the feral! kitties I know everyone has been worried about them. We’ve had some nice warm, sunny days up until today, it’s been rainy and cool. I love seeing the sun in the winter! It not only is cheery but it helps to warm the house and if I have to be outdoors then it’s so much nicer. I’m thankful the other day it was very warm when we got our grocery delivery. I’m thankful my sister is having success with her meds/diet to get her blood sugar down. She just learned her pancreas isn’t functioning… Read more »
Yay for those things to be thankful for as I am thankful too 🙂
It is always good to see that all the ferals are safe and coming for the food.
I think they know how good they have it at your place !
Purrs, Julie
What great news to be thankful for! Every once in awhile I get the sniffly thing too which passes in a few days. The last time I had it was when the tree came.
We are thrilled that the feral returned and the temperatures are more agreeable.
You do have lots of good stuff to be thankful for this week! I’m so glad the last feral showed up for you.
