Hello everyone, thanks once again for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today, I’m really thankful for some things you see all around our house and that’s our Scratchers. The Scratchers are plentiful here, we’ve got 6 right here in the living room. Scratchers are not only fun, they’re comfy and practical too. We never lack for a place to scratch which means we have no need to mess with the furniture.
As you can see, I’m relaxing in the oval scratcher and I’ve got dibs on the rectangle one. Both are mine, mine, mine, at least for the moment. Oh, we’ve got 3 Scratchers in the dining room too and a few more upstairs. I wonder why we don’t have any Scratchers in the big bedroom? We did at one time have at least one in there. Now I remember, I horked on it and it went away. Dang!
Our Dad does keep several extras in case of a Big Yak Attack. We are all thankful for our Scratchers. What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
A yak attack can really mess up a scratcher, Brian!
It’s good to read that you all have plenty, and more waiting in the wings.
Scratchers are most important, and my cats seem to like to have their Yak Attack on my left shoe.
We love how you claimed two scratchers ar once, Brian. That is a Pro move!
This reminds me that I need to get some more scratchers!
Those scratchers are wonderful. We have several around our house also and they do help save the furniture. And they make the cats happy!
I think all blogger likes when some one visit them.
Coffee is on and stay safe
Oh yes the scratchers are a blessing. Mister Kitty really loves them when he is having a rough day and needs tp vent~ Daphne just enjoys keeping her nails in shape. Love the photos and always visiting everyone here. Have a wonderful weekend.
that’s our motto too have always the paw on all things what are yours ;O)
You have a good selection of scratchers, Brian. Good to have your paw on the second scratcher so it is ready when you want to change over.
You all have a lot of wonderful scratchers available – Mom needs to get a couple for me. I don’t scratch on anything inside the house but love to scratch on the doormat at the front door AND any available tree!!!!!
Hugs, Teddy
Skeeratch here, there, everywhere.
Our kitties have scratching opportunities all around the house too. It is a good thing.
We only have three scratchrer in our living/dining room and two in the kitchen, plus one in the study. That’s clearly not enough!!!

Tama and Benny
Brian,
Is a scratcher comfortable? My brain thinks it’s something rough but what do I know? Did you say, “Very little about kitties”? You’d be right about that for sure. It’s been so long since we’ve had a kitty and even then I didn’t know what a scratcher is but it would’ve been nice to have to keep our furbaby from damaging the curtains and furniture. Have a nice chillaxing day in your scratcher nap spot!
Brian, it looks like you are saying, I really like this scratcher but I might want to change to the other so everyone stay away from my 2nd choice scratcher. that is a LOT of scratchers and now we know why your furniture is safe and beautiul
We love our scratchers. Nice that you have two at one time. Too bad about the bedroom one but hork happens.
Your Dad is smart to have extras ready. I know from experience that it is impossible to get yack out of those grooves. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
That is so sweet the way you are reaching out and touching your other s rather, Brian. Your humans are very smart, and of course you are too.
MOL MOL MOL
I very thankful for your most talented Blog Title Creator!! The titles are always attention getters
Hugs cecilia
Having lots of scratchers is a good thing indeed. I know your peeps make sure you have everything you need. Good parents are like that.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
You are a true scratcher connoisseur Brian! I like that your Dad keeps back-ups, what a good idea!
Meow Friend!
wow that a cool scritcher all right!! mines up. and if follow the different drummer that I always follow.
Wow that’s an awesome scratcher! You are one lucky kitty! 🙂
Life is good ~ Wow! ~ scratchers aplenty! Xo

You kitties do love your scratchers. With us pups the pawrents worry about us chewing something. We’ve heard stories of chair legs being eaten and Millie ate (or tore up) a book once so it’s chew toys that are scattered around the house. Mostly this behavior goes away when we get older.
Scratchers must be very important to kitties…I know Mama remembers how many she had for our Angel Kitty Sister Addie! Enjoy yours Brian!
xoxo,
Jakey, Rosy & Sunny
Smart move to hold on to the other scratcher, Brian. It’s always good to have a second one at your paws.
A kitty can never have too many scratchers!
I bet you like a good scratching.

We tried so many of those different kids of scratchers to no avail. Even coated them in catnip. So now I trim claws every 2-3 weeks and resort to double sided tape when necessary.
Amarula has been known to have a few Big Yak Attacks!! Enjoy your scratchers!
Brian, you can never have too many scratchers.
We can see you’re well-connected, Brian!
Uy genial aparato . Te mando un beso.
There are scratchers here but not as many as you have. None of my catkids sleep on them. They seem to prefer my bed, the sofa or chair, especially when I am using them.
Lucky you guys! All those cardboard scratchers must keep your peeps busy with the vacuum. TW remembers how much Autumn loved them. I love the upright sisal ones bests.
I have loads of scratchers here, and while there is always a first time, I’ve never thrown up on any of them.
Cardboard scratchers are the best. And our mom keeps extras too.
We know scratchers are important for cats, and for furniture.
MOL…well…you made that one real clear, Brian…so cute…MOL..Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you🐾😽💞
We love the scratchers, we’ve got some at BBHQ too! Happy Friday epic gang and thanks as always for hosting!
You guys are so kind and sweet with your feline house mates. Always a pleasure to read your posts.
Roary is a HUGE fan of scratchers too! Do you believe that Cody and my Bobo both were NOT into scratchers at all?
Lovely cat scratcher…
Thanks for hosting, joining the linkup for the first time.
Greetings from Singapore.. 🙂
