Howdy gang, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’m super thankful that we made it to the Vet place and back home safely. Yes, I’m really thankful for that. Of course I never like the car ride but today it was pretty horrible. It rained about as hard as it could rain, even the windshield wipers could hardly keep up. The Dad had the radio on to listen to the traffic reports but it was raining so hard he could hardly hear the radio. There were wrecks everywhere. Yep, I’m thankful we made it there and back fur sure!
Oh, last night I was a fast night. Well, I’m pretty fast for my age but I was told that meant no food. Well, that part wasn’t that much fun. I did get to sleep in the big bedroom with the door closed. Dolly, Simon and Seal were out in the other parts of the house, and they had food.
One last thing, we haven’t got the results of Seal’s bloodwork yet and mine should be back tomorrow or Friday. We’ll let you know what both results are when we get them.
Okay, that’s it for me, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I hope things go OK Brian, and Seal, hoope you are OK too.
I know that kind of rain too, scary and nightmarish to drive it so well done and kudos to your dad for being such a hero.
Driving is scary enough without that kind of rain, i am very glad you made it there and back safely.
I’m so glad you are back at home and all snuggled in. That sounds like it was a pretty scary day. I’m relieved to know you and the Dad are safe!
That ride to the vet and back sounds pretty scary, Brian. We are glad you all made it back safely. Purring about you and Seal’s bloodwork. XO
Oh gosh- fingers crossed for everyone’s vet visits. We love you all and cherish you!
I hope everything goes well. It is hard having to fast, darn it when the others were enjoying a meal. But once it is all over you can have your meals. YAY! Take care, you are the biggest bunch of kind hearts I know here. THANK YOU
You all get well and get all those tests out of the way. Thinking of all of you and always praying. You are the best. Take care xo xo xoxo xo xo xo xo
we are no good passengers either when we drive with stormy weather… and we hope the results come back with good news for you two…
Hope EVERYTHING come back OKAY tomorrow, Brian.
Yikes, that would have been a scary trip for sure. Glad your Dad is a safe driver and got you there and back.
Hope the labs come back with a good report for you and for Seal, too.
I hope you both get good results. That fasting is not good Brian. I had to do the same before my CT scan on Tuesday. I don’t get my results until next Wednesday though. *Fingers crossed* for both of us!
I can imagine how you felt, Brian, and I’m glad that you’re home safe. Cross my paws for the both of you🙏Pawkisses for a Happy Day🐾😽💞
Oh, you kitties we are SO thankful for YOU and for your wonderful papa who takes such good care of you and who makes us all happy every week with the HOP of HOPS. We send good thoughts for good vet reports, altough we dont like to use that word often, vet, I mean. And yes, I have to go a jeun, without FOOD….arggggh. Even when I returned home I wasn’t very hungry but today was normal. Such trauma.
It must have been a nightmare for your Dad driving in weather like that with PURRecious cargo on board. I’m happy that you’re safe at home and will be able to eat something soon.
Hope the blood work for you both shows no BAD results Brian……….take it easy – going to the vet takes a lot out of us (and not just our blood!).
Hugs, Teddy
Gosh, that drive sounded very scary, Brian, we’re glad you and your dad are okay. Paws crossed and purrs for both your results and Seal’s. ♥
Fasting is no fun and neither are pounding rain car rides. My paws are crossed for good results for you and Seal, Brian.
Driving in heavy rain is no fun. It’s almost as bad as driving in a winter snow/ice storm. Glad you made it safely and we sure hope everyone’s blood comes back boring with nothing wrong.
Xena: Ooo, those kind of rain car rides are really scary. I do OK riding in my kennel in the back seat, though. I curl up on my blanket, snuggle with my favorite stuffie and dream about happy things.
Chia: We all have a “fast” night ever Sunday. We hate it. There’s nothing “fast” about it. The whole night goes s-l-o-w. We occupy ourselves bugging Mom all night. XOXOX
That sounds like a super scary ride and we’re glad you are safely home. We’re purring and praying for good results for you and for Seal.
I am glad you got to the vet and back safely too. I am praying you both get good results. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
Brian, we continue to purr for you…we’ll purr even louder!
Please let us know the news for both of your and Seal’s tests.
praying for good results on both tests. when I saw the photo of adorable you i thought in Seuus mode.
If a cat can fit in a bowl, we know that cat is not all that old.
that cat will tell us its not a bowl but a scratcher
then we know said cat is saying back atcha.
It’s no fun for the pawrents to have to drive through any type of bad weather but having us on board makes them especially nervous. We’re glad you made it to your appointment and back safely and our paws are crossed for good reports for you and Seal about your blood work.
I’m so glad you made it to the vet and back okay, Brian. Rainy day driving can be so scary! Purrs for good test results!
Sounds like a scary ride for you and for dad. I’m glad you make it there and back safely. Nothing like getting some food too. Fingers crossed for both blood work to be good.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
Yes, it was raining pretty darn hard in our neck of the woods the other day! I’m thankful, too, that you all made it to the vet and back home safely! I refuse to drive in rain like that, especially now that I’m a bit older and my reflexes aren’t quite as good as they used to be. Meanwhile, I pray that your and Seal’s blood test results come back with good news!
Glad you got to vets and back home safely ~ and prayers for positive test results ~
That photo of you is adorable all curled up in a comfy ball ~ Xo
Wishing you lots of love in your days,

Oh dear me fast is not a good word when it involves Vet/doc appt.
Wonder if that rain is heading here?
I’m so very late coming we had one unexpected appt. this morning then I had a dental at 1.
Hugs cecilia
Oh Brian, I am SO sorry that you had to endure that horrible ordeal but thankful for you that it is now over!
Bask in all of your favorite spaces today and enjoy your favorite feasts! xoxo
That kind of rain is terrible. I’m so glad you made it there and back safely. You’re all very impawtant to us. *hugs*
Glad you and Dad made it to the vet safely. Purrayers and POTP for good results for both you and Seal !
hope all is well with all the blood work and very thankful you made it home safely! It is always so nerve wracking driving in a bad rain storm!
Sounds scary but you made it. Another vet visit doesn’t sound fun.
Driving in heavy rain is tough especially when those wipers can’t keep up with the load. Mom and Dad have been dealing with icy roads lately. Most of the time they just stay home. Hoping for good lab reports for both of you.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Some rainstorms are scary, for sure, and worse if on the road. Glad you are home all safe and sound and now have a full belly. Keeping good thoughts about the blood work you and Seal had done.
Best wishes and prayers on good test results. ~hugs~ It’s raining again here, so I’m thankful to be home for the evening. Take care!
Sending lots of purrs! Glad you’re back home safe.
Thank goodness you and your dad made it there and back OK, Brian. Our mom’s been in rain like that and it is nerve wracking for sure.
Uy que bueno que este bien el gatito. Te mando un beso.
Brian, it’s bad enough having to go to the vet but even worse when the weather is bad. Hope you and Seal get good results on your bloods. ~Ernie
We are glad you made it back safely too
If I curled up like that I would be in such agony.
Coffee is on and stay safe
Happy that you made it through your vet visit. I don’t think any of us like doctors or vets unless we really need their help. Glad you are home and happy once more. I love the photos here. You are all the kindest souls.
I’m glad you made it to the vet and back safe, Brian!
Dude, driving in rain like that is horrendous, we’re glad mew arrived home safely! We hope Seal’s bloodwork is ok and send oodles of healing purrs anyway! Happy Friyay sweet furiends and here’s hoping mew have an epic weekend!
Darling, I bet you are fast. Bet you and Lily could have a BAW moment together and have a blast doing it. I love watching Lily and Misty let go and go wild at the same time. Sorry you were fearful on your ride to the vet. I am not a fan of hard heavy rain either, esp when its cold. But you know that both mom and dad would have made sure that you were safe, no matter what happened. They love you and your siblings.
We’re so thanky thankful y’all had an uneventful trip as well Brian. As always we’re continuing purrayers fur Seal and you. Big hugs
Luvs ya’
RaenaBelle and Zebby
Gosh, sounds scary! I’m glad you made it back safely!
Sounds like a stressful car ride. I hope you all get some good news back from your tests.
Charlee: “We’re glad you got to the vet and back again safely!”
Chaplin: “Yeah, in a way, vet visits are like airplane rides!”
Lulu: “How so?”
Chaplin: “Well they say takeoffs should equal landings, and visits to the vet should equal returns from there!”
Oy the rain, Layla hates it also, we are thankful for your blog hop and also so relieved that you got home safely in that lousy weather and praying that your blood results will be good. Stay safe with a woof from Layla
