Today I’m thankful for toys, yes, toys! Just because I’m a bit older now doesn’t mean that I can’t enjoy playtime with Dad. Actually I’m looking forward to it these days and am right there ready to go. I have a new favorite wand toy, a variation of what our friend Summer from Sparklecat.com said that she enjoys too. Our Dad bought one and we immediately wore it out and the Dad had to order more. Here’s a quick video, I hope you like it…
We also got a treat ball, you know the kind, where treats go inside and we have to figure out how to get them out. No problem! The Dad put five treats in there, I rolled that silly ball and got all five treats out, one right after another. Yes, of course I ate all five treats!

Those toys are so much fun, for you and your person! They also help you stay in shape, because round is not a healthy shape. At least, that’s what i’m trying to tell my cats.

Roary LOVES wand toys! Remember when I posted YEARS ago about the guy from Michigan who created a treat toy called Bat-A-Rat? I have owned two of them (they last for YEARS!!) It was one of Cody’s favorites. It wobbles, it is larger, and you can fit treats and/or kibble in them. Just google “Bat-A-Rat” or look for it in my archives of my blog. (Didn’t want to post the link here without your permission)

I forgot to comment after seeing the video this morning… so precious… and Milo has a treat ball that he gets the treats out of lickety split. Now the wishbone that you wedge them into is proving difficult, sometimes too hard for him so he brings it to us to “help” (such a millennial)

We have that version of the toy too! My human has found that cats generally play their whole lives (Boodie was playful until the last week or so of her life). So I’m not surprised you still find joy in toys.
