Hello gang, I hope you are having a mighty fine Monday and I hope it’s sunny and warm too. By the way, if you missed our latest Feral Family Video it was on the blog this past Saturday. I also saw on the TV thingy yesterday that there’s still lots of snow around. That Old Man Winter dude sure must have a sense of humor, it was even cold here in the South. We didn’t have snow though and that’s always a good thing for us.
Anyways, we got through Easter just fine and there was ham. Boy did it smell good cooking too. I love me some ham but I don’t get it as often as I’d like. Truthfully, I wouldn’t mind enjoying some ham about every day but the Dad says it’s not good for me. That’s kind of a universal truth isn’t it? If you really, really like it and it tastes delicious it’s probably not good for you! Someone needs to rewrite that rule book.
Okay, I’m going to go see what SImon and Seal are up to or more likely where they are snoozing. Y’all have a fun day, catch ya later. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
we had such a winter joke too, but fortunately it was a short one ;O)))
Tam absolutely loves ham and gets little tidbits when #1 is having some. I, Benny, adore absolutely everything!
Purrs,
Tama and Benny
I’ve noticed that food rule as well.
It looks like we may get snow today.
Take care and stay cozy
Hi Brian! We had ham for Easter too although I’m not a ham fan….Mom and Dad seemed to enjoy it so I suppose it was a “WIN”…….I did get more treats than usual thanks to the Easter Bunny though!
Hugs, Teddy
Ham is a real treat, isn’t it? We love it too 🙂
I rarely get ham and I agree – it’s good stuffs!
My babes, or the two feline babes have been enjoying their naps. It was beautiful one day and they stayed out on the deck and napped out there all day. Yesterday, not so nice, napping was done inside cause it was just way to cool even with their fur coats to hang outside. Yep, the girls are spoiled. Hoping that you got some goodies yesterday between naps.
We would love some ham too but Mom says it isn’t good for dogs either. Luckily for us, we didn’t have Easter yesterday because we spent the entire day driving home, so we didn’t get tortured with ham.
We never get ham cause Daddy can’t eat it so Mommy never cooks it. Bummer. But Mommy is saying we wouldn’t get any anyhow cause it isn’t good for us. Boy, it must taste really, really good!
No ham for the peeps or cats here. But there we had treats!
Honey Baked Ham is a favorite here too. Angel Madi could almost smell it before we even came in the house.
We have a very wet day in NC
Hugs Cecilia
Brian, your humans know what’s best for you, but surely a wee taste once in a blue moon would be okay?
I do that for myself, but then I decide that blue moons can happen every day, and well…best not to start at all.
Pork is not easily digested by cats, so it’s really not worth eating, despite the yummy smell.
There’s a lot of stuff we humans can’t eat either because it’s not good for us. We feel your pain, Brian.
Have a purrfect day and week. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
What a coincedence I just had a ham sandwich so ham now full
That is one mighty pose there lol
Ham a tanfastictastic Monday 👍
We had ham too! YUM!
We missed the movie but just went back and watched it!!
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. ♥
We love ham too and agree that you can never get enough of it. Have a great Monday. It’s not warm here and we’re supposed to get snow tonight!
My daughter’s house was filled with the delicious aroma of ham yesterday. We enjoyed our time at the table and then their big dog Lady decided to help clean up by grabbing a big chunk of ham and head for the door. Oh dear…
I agree, every thing I LOVE TO EAT, really, really love, is bad for me. not fair. you are looking so handsome and manly today… maybe a sardine instead of ham?
I love ham too Brian. TW is so cheap giving me only a tiny bit. She says when she’s allowed an entire box of Godiva truffles in one sitting, I can have a whole slice of ham. I’m not stopping her.
Ham is what AM! Love the stuff!
Mmmm, at least you got a nibble, Brian! We smelled ham around here yesterday but we didn’t get any!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Sunny
That ham sounds yummy Brian! We got some of that strangely cold weather in the South, too. You are looking especially whiskery today!
I don’t think ham is good for anyone. 🙂
Oh my we had a lot of snow last week and it caused some tree branches to break…ouch. I cannot remember the last time I had ham….maybe I should get a little one! Have a lovely week!
No Ham here…we got roast beast and we are looking forward to more tidbits today. Kozmo takes thyroid meds twice a day and that means ALL of us gets a “special” something when he does.
Mom has compared us to lining up like vultures. But if need be, it makes giving us meds easier (Cinnamon had to take antibiotics and it was totally easy). We are hoping Mom gets a ham soon!
We didn’t even see any kind of meat or meat product yesterday at all! Petcretary made a vegan Spanakopita, a vegan root veggie bake, and a vegan lemon tart with fresh raspberries on top. She said ti was all quite yummy and the vegan eater in the family approved of all of it! Leftovers?? They’re all gone now!
Glad you all had a nice Easter.
Ham is always a wonderful treat!
You got ham for Easter? How lucky is that! My kitties love ham when they can get it too. We are in one of the unfortunate parts of the country that is getting 4 inches of snow today. We are hoping for warmer, sunnier days! You look like you are very comfortable in that photo, Brian. Lots of hugs and love to you.
You’ve heard of the cardiologist diet, right? If it tastes good, spit it out.
Have a wonderful week!
Cute photo ~ love those ears ~ so alert ~ someone must have said Ham? ~ Xo
Wishing you laughter and love in your days,

Ten una buena semana y ami tambien me gusta el jamón. Te mando un beso.
Charlee: “The famous sailor Popeye was also a big fan of ham!”
Chaplin: “He was?”
Charlee: “Yes, in fact he thought he was ham. That’s why he went around saying ‘I ham what I ham and that’s all that I ham’.”
Chaplin: “You might want to give that another listen …”
Spring has an up and town agenda. We had over an inch of rain today and in a couple of days the daytime temp will be 40 degrees warmer than it was today. That means we’ll get some catio time. Sorry you didn’t get your ham, Brian. None of us have ever had any. Happy you did have a good Easter. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
You are lucky! I never get ham here. My human doesn’t like it – can you believe it?
How come humans are the only ones allowed to do things that are not good for them?
Well, the way I see it is that the rule about food isn’t always true. I’m eating some delicious strawberries right now, for example, and I’ll bet you’ve got some yummy kitty treats you enjoy. 😀 Be well!
Shhh, don’t tell Brian but I love ham too (this is the Mom), but Jewish people aren’t supposed to eat ham. Angel Bobo and I would sneak eating it when Daddy wasn’t home MOL. But…your Dad is right, it’s really not good for kitties. I agree about re-writing the rule book too!
I hope you got a tiny bit of more ham!
I like Ham..ster too…🙀thank Cat we don’t have one😸Glad you had a treatful Easter sweet sweet Brian. Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday to all of you🐾😽💞
