Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’m thankful for those I will call The Memorial Warriors who graciously show up with their graphical weaponry when someone loses a beloved pet. If you’ve lost a furry family member you know how nice it is that someone took the time to share their art, time and skill during a difficult time of lost. The memorials get shared, bloggers and friends visit and we grieve knowing we’re not alone during the process.
I want to spend a special thank you to Ann from Zoolatry and Ingrid from Meezer Mews & Terriertistical Woofs for the beautiful memorial graphics they create when one of our beloved furry family members passes. I also want to get a big meow-out to Mom Linda from Da Weenies of Florida for all the hard work in maintaining Our Rainbow Friends, which is published monthly on the 15th (Ann also assists with this site) and to Cecilia from Power of the Paw Blog. Your artistic talent and dedication is so appreciated by so many, thank you so much.
Okay, that’s it for me, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
linda entrada siempre hay que agradecer a quien ayuda a un animal perdido. Te mando un beso.
We are lucky to have such talented people in the cat blogosphere.
That’s a very sweet thing they do for those who are grieving. Go, Memorial Warriors!
We are so thankful for them, too, Brian. They are talented, and have such kind and wonderful hearts,
It hard on us, who lost there pets.

I really appreciate them!
They are all very talented and dedicated to helping the anipal community when one of our family passes.
we agre… it is so important to be not all alone after a friend is gone…
Sadly we say so many goodbyes in this world as our beloved pets just aren’t with us as long as we wish they could be. But when one says farewell there are lots of people who try to make the parting less painful with words of encouragement that mean EVER so much. Losses seem to come in groups in this world which doubles the difficult times for all of us.
Hugs, Teddy
That is a very nice and thoughtful thankful post, Brian. Ingrid has been so kind to us with beautiful graphics when we have lost family members, and it is so nice of you to thank them like this.

Thank you, Brian and family for your kind and caring words. I am proud and honored to stand beside Linda and Ingrid and remember our beloved friends, important to all of us. And I’d also like to add a thank you and paws-up to Miss Cecilia from Power of the Paw, who not only posts Memory Images but shares “purrs and prayers” for our pets, and for our humans who may be in need.

The first time I experienced the Memorial Warriors I was overwhelmed. Their kindness and generosity is amazing. They really do make a very difficult time a little easier. Hooray for our beloved Memorial Warriors!
I was so glad to see this Brian. I too am exceedingly glad to see the memorials when our beloved fur babies pass on. It’s a horrible time and seeing that someone cared to help us with our grief is so wonderful. I didn’t get one for Admiral when she passed, as we must not have been doing them then; but many many many kind loving people wrote to me on her blog to be with me while I suffered her loss. And suffer is the right word. I did however, commission a picture of her to be done along… Read more »
thankful for all those kind bloggers (and hosts like you) and for being able to spend some time at the sea.
I love this title of “Memorial Warriors”! And I am thankful for each of them! When first Bogie and then Ducky left us, I was inconsolable. These ladies created such beautiful graphics of my beloved angels that I literally cried with gratitude. And the Rainbow Bridge friends blog posts are always so thoughtful. These ladies are so very talented, and kindhearted, they deserve a multitude of thanks from all of us. I’m also thankful for all of you, my fellow bloggers. You all made me feel so much better with your kindness and compassion. I strive to return the kindness,… Read more »

To Brian and your very special Mom and Dad…..Thank you so much for your post today. I am also thankful for your friendship and recognition of the dedication that Ann, Cecilia, Ingrid, and I have toward remembering our friends who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The work we do is very heartbreaking and tears are often shed as we try to put together a special remembrance photo. But remembering them is what it’s all about.

Wow, I never thought of myself that way.
I just feel it is a small thing I can do to help lessen the pain bereft fur-parents are feeling when their fur-babies become angels.
I do enjoy making those images…even if its for a sad time for the recipient(s).
Thanks so much for this post!!
