Today is Memorial Day in the United Sates today. On this day, as we do each year, we pause to remember the heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice for us and for our Country. We are always most thankful to all of those who have kept us safe throughout the years. I hate to think where we’d be without them.  It is also very important that we remember the many loyal hero animals that have served our country as well. They did so selflessly and we thank them all as well. We are so grateful.

We love all of our heroes, and we always will. Today we remember, tomorrow we will remember, and we shall remember forever. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

So many heroes who deserve the honor we should give them every day but most especially on Memorial Day. Animals and humans alike have kept our country free.

I’m going to tell you a story about my Dad’s father. They were at Fenway Park on Memorial Day weekend. In between innings, they asked all the veterans to stand. Daddy’s father served in the Korean War and was bitter about being drafted. They asked the veterans to keep standing with they played God Bless America. Daddy’s father loudly yelled, “This God damn song!” My father turned to the strange in the seat next to him and said, “They never said they had to be veterans of the United States army.
