Howdy gang, here we are back again for Tabby Tuesday. We just did this didn’t we? That’s okay, I’m up for doing it again. Did you hear that? Sorry, where was I? Oh, I’m here on the ottoman, there it went again. Are you sure you didn’t hear that? I did, but Brian says I’m hearing things.
Brian told you there are birds out front, but he didn’t tell you that they built a nest right out there in the tree. They sure are noisy, but I guess they’ve had a lot to chat about designing and building their nest. Then some crazy squirrel has been up on the gutter out back yelling at the ferals. He best be careful, that Momma kitty is quite the hunter.
There is one thing I didn’t hear, really. Two very large raccoons stopped by in the middle of the night. They were checking out the feral feeding station and they really scared our ferals. I hope they don’t come back soon since they scared everyone outside. Okay, that’s enough about that for today. Have a fun Tabby Tuesday and and I’ll be seeing you soon! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We have a lot of noisy birds here too. The sparrows have an apartment block in our Leyland hedge. I think there are 5 or 6 pairs that have or are still making nests in there. It gets very busy. I hope those racoons don’t come back!
Yes, I can hear it loud and clear, Simon, they’re here too…not the raccoons as they don’t live here….MOL…Pawkisses for a Mewsical Tuesday to all of you🐾😽💞
Hi Simon! I’m always hearing something around here…..birds or airplanes flying around since we’re near a small airport, etc. BUT my favorite sound is Mom shaking the treat bag! Tee Hee
Hugs, Teddy
wow… berds and racoons… that is interesting … and we hope the ferals will come back when this two guys are gone…
I bet the feeding station does attract other animals because everyone wants some good food. Hopefully the ferals are not too frightened.
Those squirrels can be such a pain and we hope the raccoons don’t come back!
Birds are singing now where we are too, Simon! I hope the raccoons move on … They are cute but they can be pesky!
You are looking pretty astonished, Simon! But also very handsome!
It sounds like it’s party night every night around your home!
Purrs,
Tama and Benny
Birds are very fun to watch.
I know mommy said she detests when the raccoons come up on the deck and disturn=b the feeding stations. The destroy the hummingbird feeder too and throw the nectar around.
Maybe you should officially declare this “Brian & Seal & Simon’s New Nature Preserve Blog”.
Precious can be sound asleep and hear a bug buzzin’ in the house and snap awake and go on the hunt.
Me, I have to see the durn thing and have it land on me! And with the windows open, just like you Simon,
she hears the birds and now her chipmunk is barking all the time too. Have a great listen and keep those
rascally coons off the feral food.
we know what you mean about the raccoons. we love all the visitors in our yard but NOT the raccoons. we do admit that we think they are so cute but wish them to stay in someone elses yard. I talked to a neighbor today on our walk and he said he has feral cats feeding in his garage, he has a cat door for them. he has not seen Romper but he says he is probably part of their gang, they all have the missing tip of the left ear.. fat and sassy….
What lots of critter activity to be watching for. Ricky spotted a black bear out back yesterday and in 13 years it is only the second one we’ve spotted here.
Spring brings noise, Simon!
We don’t like the noise of lawn mowers, weed wackers, and the blower things that folks use to get grass clippings off of the sidewalk.
We don’t think any wildlife likes those noises either.
It’s spring, so birds are everywhere and that can be noisy. But hey, live and let live, Simon :-)) Hope the ferals are doing okay…
There are lots of strange noises around our house too, Simon. As dogs, we just bark at any noise we don’t recognize. BOL!
It’s spring and there are noisy birds everywhere. They have lots of work to do.
Raccoons are mean little things and I hope they don’t come back and scare the feral kitties anymore. Shame on them.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
dood….for sum reezon…..we iz now singin a total lee awesum Christmas toon in R mindz eye ~~~ ♫♫♪♫♫♪♫ ♥♥
Oh dear me…I hope they don’t start the tweeting too early in the morning.
Hugs Cecilia
oh my! There is A LOT of action going on over there!
Oh birds are delightful and nest to watch ~ wow! Raccoons ~ hope they go away ~ want feral kitties to be safe ~ Love those gorgeous eyes of yours ~ Xo

With that hearing ability Simon you get the title of Securikitty! Love those airplane ears today cute boy. Enjoy the sounds of Spring, well except for the racoons – yikes! I hope those racoons leave your ferals alone.
Luke and Olive here. We have a new friend. Mom’s one remaining guinea fowl has now began paling around with us and scaring away any of our prey. Guess we will have to stick with cat food.
We hear lots of stuff here too! We hope those racoons don’t scare the ferals again.
Whoa! What a lot of action! Watch out for those trash bandits. They’ll wreck havoc looking for food. Cute but dangerous.
We sure hope those raccoons stay away and we hope things quiet down a bit for you too Simon!
xoxo,
Rosy, Sunny & Jakey
There was a huge raccoon in our driveway last week! They are quite intimidating.
I hope you can get rid of the raccoons. they always seem to find ferals’ food and they are so nasty.
Sounds like a lot of commotion out there. Good thing you are an insider!
Mercy but you’ve got a lot going on outdoors at your place! Maybe the raccoons will be scared and not come back, but don’t bet on it, they are very persistent if they know food is easily available.
Chaplin: “Ooh, Dennis told us that he was outside one time when a raccoon came into the yard and Mama and Dada couldn’t get him into the house fast enough. Nobody wants to tangle with a raccoon!”
Charlee: “Especially not Rocket Raccoon!”
Uy que tierno. Te mando un beso.
Every morning I wake to so many bird songs! have a lovely day!
Wow, it’s like an animal sanctuary at your place, Simon!
I hope those racoons respect your yard, and the birds too
Raccoons can be scary and really rip up outside kitties. We knew one who got attacked by a raccoon – it wasn’t pretty. He decided he wanted to be an inside cat instead of a (presumed) feral after that.
Yes, I hear it too! Raccoons are a plague, also in Germany and they can be dangerous for cats.
Take good care of you
Wildlife seems to be enjoying the warmer weather. We had a couple of deer on the lawn the other night. They ran like the wind when I took the trash out.
I think we have a couple of wild parrots nesting near us! They are VERY noisy.
Xena: We’re used to hearing birds all the time. And squirrels. And lawn equipment. And sometimes the wind, whose name is Moriah.
Lucy: Xena!
Xena: What?
Bird watching has been our favorite activity lately.
