Thankful Thursday Blog Hop:  Deliveries Can Be Comfy Too

thankful thursday blog hop brian 05262022

Howdy gang, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  I am always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today, I’m thankful for the deliveries that come to our house.  Yes, lots of those deliveries are for us kitties but some are for our Mom and Dad too.  I know, it’s hard to believe that Mom and Dad get things too, but they do.  Each day we never know what deliveries will show up until we hear them being plopped down on the front porch.  That plop down usually sends Simon running, that is if he is awake MOL!

Anyways, I should tell you the important thankful and that is the boxes.  I have seniority here so I’m the CBI, Chief Box Inspector.  You see, when boxes arrive the Dad brings them in and stages them in the hallway prior to opening.  That’s when I do my inspection thing.  Even unopened boxes are a treasure and I’m thankful for boxes, opened and unopened.  I love my job!

Okey Dokey, that’s it for me.  So, what are you thankful for today?  Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Aw, it’s excellent that you get to inspect the boxes first, Brian!
Sometimes, when boxes arrive, I try to get them put away before The Hubby sees them.
When I went away to the office, I’d simply have my purchases delivered there, but the pandemic changed things!

Brian OMCs, speaking of boxes and surprises, 7 months from today (Wednesday) will be Christmas.
I’m thankful to you and the staff for hosting this day. Kitties and boxes are such fun.
    Hugs Cecilia

By the way, i apologize for the avatar that appears above, i know i clicked on the right one, but my computer has been acting up and i wouldn’t know how to change it now, if there is a way.

  3. The Poupounette Gang

Boxes truly are wonderful things. It would seem that I, Benny, am the first of the Poupounette kitties to really love boxes!

Here’s hoping for a continuing constant stream of boxes to inspect!

Oh I totally agree Brian…….boxes whether we’re IN them or ON them are comfy. Bring on the boxes!

    Hugs, Teddy

We all go wild when we hear the big truck stopping outside the house. The guy never rings the bell because we are so loud Mom can’t miss that a package has arrived. Enjoy your boxes.

  6. Diane

Unopened box inspector is often as much fun and open box inspector. good job Brian.

  7. Lucy and Chia

Dear Brian, it’s been so long since I’ve had my precious cats that I’d all but forgotten these funny/sweet things they did. Enjoy your boxes, and I’ll bet your the best CBI for miles around.

  8. MadSnapper

Maybe you need business cards, Brian, CBI Free of charge because I love my job… you are so easy to please. Beau pays no attention to boxes except to sniff the human smell that sat them on the porch..

  9. Sandee

Being a good box inspector is vital. I know you do it well and it’s good that you love your job.

Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥

Brian – every house needs a Chief Box Inspector, and I am confident you carry out the role with perfection! Keep up the good work! Today, I am grateful for our family vacation in Grand Cayman!

  11. Millie & Walter

We love delivery boxes too, especially since many of them contain treats for us! Walter loves them for the paper and plastic pillows inside that our pawrents let him destroy. It’s the cheapest toy you can find. BOL!

  12. Precious

I’m thankful for home grown wacky weed (nippy). And my daytime hidy holes for sleeping.
Lynn sees I get good food and Greenies. I guess I’m thankful she watches my weight, but
I’d rather forget about it and just eat.
    Nice box Brian.

  13. Cat and DOG Chat With Caren

Oh Brian!! Unlike all I have heard about Cody who came before me, I LOVE boxes!! Mom puts ours in the hallway too (until her lazy butt gets around to opening them!) I love boxes unopened or opened! I just love boxes!! (I will say that quite a few come for Mom, none for Dad….and the rest are for me and Levi!! ) Love, Roary

Layla says boxes are the best, as most of the time they are for me not Mom BOL, so you have the best job inspecting them, I am jealous, thank you for the blog hop and have a great weekend
