Hello everyone, I hope you had a fabulous weekend, we did, it was totally filled with naps, brushing and snuggle times. That really is a terrific way to enjoy the weekend. This week is gonna be way hotter than usual in our neck of the words, 20-25 degrees above normal, which is usually hot. It’s gonna be 95+ degrees (F). Yuck.
Anyways, a long, long time ago I did a couple of city tours of Greenville, SC. That was fun. So, back on May 20th when our Mom and Dad celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary they went to eat in Greer, SC, one of the fastest growing towns around here. So, I thought, hey, how about I take y’all on a city tour of Greer, SC. I hope you enjoy, it’s a very pretty place.
First up is the entrance to Greer CIty Park, it’s the central hub for all kinds of outdoor activities. They always have something fun going on.
Right inside the park is a very pretty fountain. I enjoyed resting and listening to the water falling. No, I didn’t get wet, that’s a good thing.
Several of the entrances to the buildings are adorn with unique coverings. I really did like this one, I thought it was really pretty. Yes, those are live flowers.
There are quite a few quaint shops around too. I really liked the storefront on this one and I liked that the table was in a bit of shade.
Of course we have a Green Bench at home so I couldn’t help try out this bench, it was pretty comfy but I think I like ours a bit better.
This antique shop had lots of fun things in the window but I got my Dad out of there before they wanted to put him on sale.
Finally, here is one of the festive outside eating areas at one of the local restaurants. It’s sure a pretty place.
I hope you enjoyed my tour of Greer, SC. I might do another city tour in the future. So, that’s it for now, have a fun day Monday, see ya soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

that is beautiful … we love the entrance… it has something what makes our heart sing…
Oh, what a beautiful city. Mama went to college with a great lady from Greenville. She had the sweetest, calmist accent, mama rememers. Mama’s trying to remember her name but thinks it was Page something or other. Mama was invited to visit her and wishes she hadd!
Thank you for a lovely tour Brian, that was a beautiful place to visit. I am glad you didn’t get wet but it was nice of them to have a bench for you. They even had a chair either side if your mom and dad wanted to sit with you.
Thanks for the tour. Mom sure does wish she could get her Confederate Jasmine to grow in an arch like that. It’s hot here too. The fountain was our favorite spot with the cool refreshing water. Scylla is hoping you will come sit with her by it.
WOW Brian – thanks for the tour of Greet – what a beautiful place it is. Looks like it was a perfect day for a visit to that pretty town. You look like you’re enjoying every minute!

Wsy up here in Northern Ohio it’s to be 95 every day this week too.
we love city tours, it lets us see how beautiful our world is in parts we will never see with our own eyes. I love those yellow chairs with you on the bench between. You might just become as well traveled as Tigger… You look so good on the back of the sofa, the lighting makes your furs more handsome, IF that is POSSIBLE
Our list of places to find nose work trials includes north and south Carolina since we have never been there and we want to go. It looks very pretty!

Brian this was a WONDERFUL tour of a beautiful city!!! It brought back memories, because I think when I first met you, it was on one of your tours a looong time ago! I just loved this. Wish I could visit there. You also made me LOL when you said you had to get your Dad out of the antique store before they put him up for sale!! You silly!! I think your green bench is better too because green is my favorite color! Lots of love!
