Thankful Thursday Blog Hop:  Everyday Heroes

thankful thursday blog hop brian 01 06232022

Howdy gang thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  I am always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today I’m thankful for those everyday heroes that often tend to get overlooked.  I’m going to tell you about three and you’ll be thankful for them too.  First is a story about a kitten stuck in a storm drain.  Oh the kindness.  A man in a wheelchair crawled out of that chair so that he could help a kitten that needed help.  Such an amazing story and a wonderful hero.  You can read that story HERE.

Secondly is the story about a wee puppy making his first flight on an airplane.  The poor pup was so scared and nervous just being on the plane he was crying and whimpering before the plane even left the terminal.  The pilot came out of the cockpit, heard that poor pup, picked him up and carried him through the plane to meet new friends and show him there was nothing to be afraid of.  The puppy calmed down after that.  Another wonderful hero.  I saw this on LinkedIn so if you have an account you should be able to see it HERE.

Third, is our dear friend Linda Rogers, from the blog Savannah’s Paw Tracks.  What you may not know is when Linda and her hubby Paul retired they dove head first into cat rescue.  They are doing amazing things for so many community cats.  They are currently trying to raise money to help sweet Pi with his dental issues.  Please stop by and check out these heroes and consider donating to help their efforts.  You can visit them HERE.

I’m most thankful for heroes like these who do wonderful things day in and day out.  Our world needs more like them.  Okay gang, that’s it for me, what are you thankful for today?  Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Animal rescue is not for the faint of heart, and those folks get their hearts broken over and over, yet they still have so much love to give.

That is the truth. Not sure if I could handle it emotionally. I admire every and each rescuer out there. VERY much.

I love following the stories that the rescue lady puts up on her website…the same one where Dalton came from. That lady IS a hero, too. As are so many others who help furry ones.

Loved your stories today, too:)

I could not believe that man. Wow, we don’t have enough people who DO, just a lot of people who ‘talk’ and no nothing.

I was proud to be able to donate to Pi’s dental care. I know they will get the job done and he will be pain free.

I am thankful that #1 Son has been able to adopt two adult cats at a local rescue center, and they have bonded as a new family! Thank you so much for sharing these positive stories – don’t we all need some good news every now and then?

There is so much kindness in the world…..much of it is “behind the scenes” and isn’t headline news but its’ importance is every bit as BIG as the hearts of those who are at the heart of it. Thanks for the story links and a special thanks to everyone who CARES.

Hugs, Pam

The best part about these everyday heroes is that they never think of themselves in that way at all. We so admire Linda and her husband for all they do for kitties, just like your Dad and Mom.
