Thankful Thursday Blog Hop:  My Purrsonal Shopper

thankful thursday blog hop brian 06302022

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  I am always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today I’m thankful for my very own Purrsonal Shopper.  Yes, today that would be my Dad.  Oh where to start.  Okay, I have become really fond of one particular brand and flavor of food.  This food comes in two ways and it really should only come one way.  Those ways would be moist and juicy with lots of broth like juice or sort of dry with not much moisture.  I really like the juicy one.  The last shipment we got was pretty dry and I didn’t like it much at all. You might be wondering, what if the Dad adds water to it. Easy answer, I won’t eat it MOL!

Yesterday my Dad, my Purrsonal Shopper, went around to the local stores to find me some of the juicy variety and I really appreciate it and am most thankful for my Dad.  It’s sad to spend big bucks these days only to have what arrives not be the quality we expected.  I guess we will give the not-as-juicy food to our ferals, they are a lot less picky that I am.  But hey, I like what I like.

Okay gang, that’s it for now, what are you thankful for today?  Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

that is purrfect… our pawsonal shopper is the mama and she often fails ( not enough snacks and not enough sardines in oil) yay to your best daddy!

You look comfy Brian……I’m with you on food – things just haven’t been the same for us cats in AGES – food shortages and shipment problems, etc. My Purrrsonal Shopper (aka Mom) has tried to stay on top of things so she finds SOMETHING she knows I will eat and she’s done a good job. My fave food that’s been “unavailable” for months is now available again so she ordered it while she can. Let’s just be grateful for our purrrsonal shoppers – they love us and do their bestest!

    Hugs, Teddy

We are SO finicky, aren’t we, Sawyer? But we LOVE freeze-dried treats even if I do prefer the gravy-soaked pates that I eat by Animonda. So many choices, such a great purrsonal shopper.

I’m thankful to have my Crunchies for breakfast. Even though this morning I threw up the first round and then the second round. So I guess I’m thankful to have someone clean up my mess. Precious

Brian a guy likes what a guy likes. Your dad is a KEEEEEEPPPPPPPPER. Extra hugs to him today.
OMCs , Rocky, Kat, their mom and I were very very excited to hear that your Dad met Mr. Rogers in the flesh! WOW. He had such a soothing voice and was the best at bringing people together
    Hugs Cecilia

MY mom goes ecverywhere to find what I want. The other day she found a great fave of mine that she hasn’r seen in a year! She actually left some so other cats could also have some. She wanted to hog them all but didn’t …I kept sending her messages through the air, but she left some.

Your Purrsonal Shopper is a Super DAD! Everyone knows by now that cats are picky eaters and love what they love and don’t love what they don’t love. So happy Dad could find your moist and delish food..

Thank COD for our purrsonal shoppers. Mom buys our favorites when she sees them so we don’t run out but we know about how disappointing it is when they aren’t what they are supposed to be.

You love what you love and your dad makes sure he delivers as best as he can. Times are tough and sometimes finding what you need is very difficult. Your dad rocks.

Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥

Your Dad is the best Dad ever!
Glad he found the good stuff that you’ll eat, and meanwhile the ferals get to have a feast!

The other day at the store, there was a little team putting a large, I repeat, LARGE shipment of Fancy Feast on the shelves…I have not seen the shelves that full in ages!! I wanted to give a shoutout to my friends who have cats, but most of them are virtual friends who are not in my city, LOL!

Brian, you peeps rock! Our Mom is furry much like your Dad….however we are NOT liking the recipe changes in some of our favorite foods. Mom has donated the can from the ones we won’t eat to the food bank (we don’t have any ferals since Merle moved in with Ms M) and we have been supplemented with Roast Chicken. Mom just wishes they would not change the recipes… Thanks for visiting us! And we hope that you and your peeps have a marvellously happy weekend.

That is true of so much cat food. I don’t mind water added but TW gets p.o.ed with the dry stuff. We got one food in a variety pack with lots of juice. I LOVED it so TW went online and bought a 12-pack for me. The first can was like cement almost. She was ready to call up and ship the case back. Long story longer, I still loved it and ate every bit.

Brian, it’s good that you’re thankful for your Dad and you appreciate his efforts to get the food you orefer. At the same time it benefits the ferals, so it’s a Win/Win.

Close your ears for a moment Brian, because I want to talk to your Dad. Have you thought of adding a bit of broth using a bouillion cube instead of water? And don’t let Brian see what you’re doing.

  17. Ivan and Izzy from WMD

Your dad is just the best, Brian! Mom’s noticed the same thing with human food too. We do wonder though how long manufacturers can blame supply chain issues (or whatever bit of the day) on their basic lack of quality control.

  18. Natasha

Your Dadda is indeed a super Dad.

I can just imagine all the juciy food that you love digging into and you cherish, all thanks to Dadda’s efforts.

    Have a good weekend.
