Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’m thankful that we are part of a fan club. Nah, not that type of a fan club. Let me explain. As Simon said the other day, it’s been beyond hot here in the South. Yes, we have air conditioning and we’re most thankful for it too. But even better, the Dad found us a fan that he set up in the living room and it really moves the cool air around so nicely. I think the Mom and the Dad are enjoying it too. See, that’s a real fan club.
The hots are supposed to last through next week and then hopefully we will have some below 100F temps in our area. That’s not exactly a cold front but after this kind of heat we’ll sure take it. What’s the weather like in your neck of the woods?
Okay gang, that’s it for me, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Stay cool, Brian!
We had close to 100 degrees today, and just about that tomorrow, then the temps drop back a bit for awhile.
Espero que se encuentren bien y frescos. Te mando un beso
It’s been a little hot here, but not like at your place! Try to stay cool, okay? XO
I’m thankful that it’s not that hot here. We’ve kinda touched 90 once or twice altho we can’t be sure. We’re between NYC and Newark and it’s always several degrees warmer in Newark. We try to split the difference. Hope you cool down soon.
It’s warm here, too, so we are also members of the fan club for air cooling fans!
We have a ceiling fan. It LOOKS a bit scary, but it is good at providing as slight breeze. Breeze is GOOD.
We are strictly “fanny” at this end, as we don’t have AC. It’s supposed to get up to 100F on Saturday. Gulp…
Purrs,
Tama and Benny
how good that you have da fan-club with a BIG fan ;O)
It’s hot here today too. I might need to get the fan out 🙂
That is the best sort of fan club to have. Yesterday we reached 71 which is hot for us. Today is 65 which is normal, and tomorrow is forecast for 71 again. I can’t even imagine 100+.
Thanks for hosting the Hop Brian! Keeping cool is a priority for we fur-covered types! We have a ceiling fan in our living room which moves the A/C around quite nicely so we know what you mean by the benefits of a fan. Hotter than usual – earlier than usual – a double whammy of heat!
Hugs, Teddy
Yes indeed, mine Mommy has two fans in our studio to keep the air moving all ’round us and at night they move to each end of the bed to keep us cooler when it gets too hotty-hot!
But speaking of “fan clubs” in the literal sense … June is a member of the “Brian Fan Club” today!!!
I laughed so hard when I realized what you meant by fan club. It’s also so hot here in my country (Philippines) although it’s been raining so hard lately. The wet season is upon us! Take care and have a great day!
I’m thankful, that as a kitty cat, if the storms are over here. I’ve been a very frightened Kitty but Lynn tells me the only thing wrong is now the Heat, and all the tree cleanup. But I’m an indoor girl and I do not have to help.
When it is super hot, we set up a fan in our office to blow the a/c around too and at night we sleep with the ceiling fan blowing fresh air on us. Enjoy your fan!
It’s good you have the fan club to keep cool Brian! Strangely, it took us awhile but we are finally getting the really hot weather here, too.
On hot days, I am also a fan of fans. 🙂
It’s hot here too. We love the ceiling fans we have on the back porch and are very thankful for them, as well as our A/C and the nice breeze when the wind is blowing.
Brian, you made a big funny with fan club! I thought we had it bad with the heat, but you’ve got it worse. Perhaps I shouldn’t say that though cuz we’re on tornado watch at the moment. So if you don’t hear from us again, you’ll know what happened.
We have the hots here too. We’re thankful for our fans too.
we have ceiling fans but they make my eyes hurt and my bones hurt, which means on really hot nights, i have a small fan that i sit on the floor, it stirs the air without blowing on me. that is a fan club also I think. You look cool and comfy today Brian and sooooo cute.. sorry, handsome.
forgot to say, last night at 7:30 pm it was 99 in our back yard, we don’t remember that ever happening before
It is relaxing to snooze in front of a fan. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
Our weather has been okay and I have my own fan too, Brian, and I love laying in front of it and worshipping it ☺
Wow, that is hot, Brian; we’re glad you have the fan as well as the air conditioning!
Here’s in been cooler than normal for the most part, with a lot of rain–unsettled weather. A few days of sticky heat and humidity (like yesterday and today), then back to cool. Our air hasn’t been on much yet, but the biped uses fans too, even with it.
Take care and stay cool!
That’s a great fan club and it works very nicely. It’s hot here, but not in the triple digits. This weekend is going to be in the 70s and we’re looking forward to that.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I’m thankful for you.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
We’re having a scorcher of a day today too. Thank Dog for air conditining!!!
That’s a good idea, I’ll have to look into getting a fan as we are in the hots here too! Stay cool!
OMCs has it been hotter than blue blazes here too. We have a ‘cold’ front (coming in tonight) too. We will have a normal temperature weekend but next week they say hotter than this week. Very hard to imagine.
Hugs Cecilia
Stay cool my friends.

Fan Clubs in hot weather are coveted. Enjoy Brian.
Sorry it is so hot but AC and fan helps ~ sweet photo of you stretched out ~ Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
we’ve had a feels-like of 107 the past several days.
I am so happy to hear that you are staying cool with the addition of your new fan!
I’m also so grateful for your friendship and for all of the wonderful unseen things you do for your feline friends and their peeps behind the scenes each week!
That’s why I’m happy to share that you are one of our Featured Friends at Friendship Friday at Create With Joy this week.
We love you Terry, Brian (and the rest of the family too!) 🙂
LOVE THE FAN CLUB!!! You are so witty you kitty.
We are your fans too!
We had a hot couple of days, Tues and Wed, (Heat indexes of over 100), but now we are getting a respite at upper 80’s!
I feel. bad for those who have to work outside in those condittions!
Nice to circulate the cool air, we do that too.
Our Mom grew up with fans, not AC, but never thought about moving our AC around with it now. That’s a really good idea. It’s in the upper 90’s (F) here, so we went walking this morning when it was still under 80 degrees. XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley
During the hottest time so far this year we have AC troubles. So we understand your thankfulness for having it. Still waiting to find out when it can be fixed as it’s a leak in the line and that has to be moved. *sigh* AND it’s not covered by warranty. *double sigh* You guys stay cool!
The air conditioner, fan combination is impossible to top
We have a fan club here, too. We live a bit south of you and are sharing the same hot weather. Hopefully, we will get to “normal” hot soon.
As we try to readjust to the warmer temps of the Southwest, we are also prime members of the fan club!!
Pas crossed for cooler temps to come!
xoxo,
Jakey, Sunny & Rosy
We get it, Brian. We like it when the ceiling fans are on here too. We have the heat stuff here too, and it is going to last at least another week. It really puts a damper on our walk time:(
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
It’s been pretty hot up here in our end of G’ville, too. Even the 10-degree difference between the back and front yards doesn’t register on my personal sweat index. Thank doG for air conditioning! Tho today’s not bad with the rain and 74F temps.
Give my best to your Mom and Dad
We’ve been spared from this round of the hots *so far*. We were just reading about all the cattle killed in Kansas from the horrid heat. Just heartbreaking.
wowee! A new definition of fan club! Stay cool- we love you!
Layla woofs she is thankful for your blog hop as you make Mom read to her about your life and thinks you are so smart cooling the living room that way in the horrible heat, please stay cool and drink lots of water
There’s nothing better than a fan club in a heatwave! MOL We’re exceedingly thankful for our fans too this week, as a heat plume has descended on the UK and we’re melting! Thanks as always for hosting and we hope mew have an epic weekend!
Oh yes, thank goodness for AC and fans! We’re only in the 80s here this week, so not nearly as hot as you. But we still have our fans going!
Sorry for being late to the thankful party. It is now Sunday, and we are thankful we have access again to our catio. We are thankful we haven’t hit 100 degrees yet…just high 90s, which isn’t any more pleasant. That was nice of your humans to get you a fan. We have two big ceiling and on the catio. They help. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
OMG your temps are 100????? Actually, we are not that far behind you! We’re 95 today (definitely NOT the norm for us in mid June here in Michigan!) Oh and we are members of the “fan” club too! I turn one on in the living room as well (to move the A/C around), and I also use one in the bedroom. We are on second floor (the top floor) of our condo/apt bldg and we get the darned heat from the above attic and we get the sun in our windows from 3pm on. Keep cool!
