Howdy gang, welcome to our Saturday Special post and today I’m gonna talk about eating, yum! Yes, I’m still eating good and we’re all enjoying our newer raised bowls. I know I’ve mentioned our new bowls before. Simon and Seal have them too, see…
Simon and Seal always eat in the hallway, because they always have, so it’s normal for them. I always eat in the Living Room, because I always have. The funny part is our rotation, our bowl dance. Simon usually finishes first, then Seal. Seal moves to finish up whatever Simon might have left and Simon comes into the Living Room and waits. When I finish up Simon comes to finish up my leftovers and I go to check and see if Seal left me anything.
It must be pretty entertaining for the Mom and Dad to watch, at least they seem to enjoy it. Hey, we do, so why not them?!?! Have a fun Saturday everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Musical Bowls!
What a fun game, LOL!!
Our first thought was musical bowls too! Food always seems to taste better off of someone else’s plate, or bowl in this case. 🙃
Same here! lol Best wishes, sweet kitties.
You all are funny checking out what each other leaves.
Lovely feeding station!
I love my raised bowl – I enjoy being able to sit while I slurp instead of standing up like I used to have to do with my plate or bowl on the floor. Now all I need is a small table and chair to sit at ! HAHA
Hugs, Teddy
Hi everybody,
thanks for that post a while back that introduced us to these raised bowls.
Our big kitty with some tummy issues took to the raised bowls in a day or two and we think it’s more comfortable for her to eat that way compared to the floor level bowls🙂🙋♂️😼
Have a good day🙂
Brian, I think you three just know how to entertain your mom and dad. And your mom and dad haven’t figured out that’s what you’re up to. You keep on eating good and take care of yourself. Precious
I love my raised bowl too. Mom said it’s worth it.
It’s important to check all the bowls. Another cat just may have gotten something more exciting…ya never know!!!!
Purrs, Julie
Those are superFancy bowls, guys, and I really like them!
Oh I love this post about felines playing musical bowls
From Day one grandcat Mia the tortie has been what I call a grazer..she likes to come and go and she is quite dainty at eating
Frisco is a gobbler. He felt it was his duty to finish what Mia left. Then he started packing on the pounds. Mia was meowing for more food. So now Mia (who is quite agile) eats on top of the fridge. Frisco dines alone and often looks up at Mia in awe of her ability to fly.
Hugs Cecilia
this is too funny and amazing and interesting and makes me feel happy. I would enjoy watching the bowl exchanges too. the best part of having pets, I mean being owned by pets, is watching their daily routines. we never tire of watching Beau do what he does. the thing she does over and over and over as part of routine tickle us to death, and what you do would be part of our entertainment. Like you kitties, Beau knows when it is time to eat and when the clock strikes that time, he starts to nudge us, wooo woo… Read more »
Nice raised bowls and it’s so good to have fun at mealtime, Brian!
‘Musical new bowls’ instead of musical chairs’ ~ Lol ~ Great bowls and Mom and Dad treat you so well ~ Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Ernie at The Island Cats has a raised bowl just like yours, Brian!
Around here, CB gobbles his food, then stares at Manny until Manny walks away.
However, we keep an eye out to make sure each cat gets their share.
I remember the rotation when we had 5 cats. We had one 20lb cat who always waited and enjoyed being clean up man LOL
The three cats here play musical bowls, too.
Those are really nice bowls. You are lucky. XO
Those are some nice bowls boys! Enjoy!
Those are some pretty fancy bowls you eat out of. We just have simple stainless-steel bowls, and we eat in separate rooms, too.
You’ll have to make a game out of it and call it Bowling for Foodies. I have admired those raised bowls, but we have so many bowls in our house I can’t count ’em. Besides I’m still spoon-feeding Dani on top of the coffee table in the Family Room. You know cats — they get their noses out of joint if you change their routine, so I totally get ya. I think we are both CATerers, don’t you?
I’m so happy to hear Brian’s improved and chowing down like the others.
HAH! I’d be dead of starvation or I’d have to learn to eat more than 2 bites before I left my dish.TW and Pop sometimes do the switcharoo thing. When they order a big hero from The Oak, TW gives Pop her swiss cheese and he gives her the onions. HAH!
Mealtime sounds like fun around your house, Brian. Y’know, I get to eat wherever I want. ~Ernie
That must be so fun to watch!
Your raised bowls are so cool, but they aren’t big enough to hold our meals. We do the bowl rotation every meal, too! We’ve never known anyone else that did. How cool! XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia
I’ve got a raised bowl but Mommy keeps forgetting to put my food in it. She does on my plate, so don’t think I am starving.
When I’m in Plano, I always like “batting cleanup” for Bowie and Angelique.
Look like your kitty dish look like fine china
Coffee is on and stay safe
Those are some great bowls, Brian, Simon, and Seal. We loved hearing about that bowl rotation! 🙂
Glad you’re eating well, Brian. Keep up that great work! XO
Raised bowls are meant to be so good. I shall instruct Mrs H to get some for herself as she is a messy eater. So bad I got her a bib last week!
Have a great and food dancing week.

Those are really nice bowls! That kitties seem to be enjoying them.
that’s one way to save on rinsing food for the dishwasher! The Clean Bowl Club!!
We love your raised bowls. Maybe we would like those too. We have a stand that has our water bowls raised. We play the same rotation game. timber is always finished first and has no hesitation to stick his nose in Lightning’s bowl while he is still eating because he would never dare to try to do that with Misty. Lightning doesn’t mind, but Mom discourages it – not good manners for Timber. Lightning is finished second, so he and Timber lick each other’s bowl clean. Misty is the slow eater and finishes last. So when they are all finished.… Read more »
You guys are lucky – we were never allowed to play musical food bowls! We had to finish our own and then we were done!
Gosh you have such gorgeous bowls, Simon, Sea and Brian. I can imagine what fun Mommy and Daddy must be having watching you. Mishka used to do the same when Laila would eat home cooked food. Now she’s on a hypoallergenic diet, which doesn’t interest Mishka too much. She would polish up her bowl and then sit right next to Laila’s bowl as she would be still finishing her meal, with her nose literally stuck to her bowl. It was the cutest sight and Laila would kindly leave some scraps for her. Mishka is an English Cocker Spaniel and Laila… Read more »
