Hello gang, here we are back at Saturday once again and for my Saturday Special I thought I’d show off my exercise routine. Weight Just a Minute fur sure, I’m not lifting that thing up. Hey, I could take it out to the Green Bench and try doing a bench press. Nah, that doesn’t sound like fun either, I don’t know how I’d get that thing up on the bench. It sure would make a big noise if I tried.
So much for that idea, I got a bit tired just thinking about it. I’ll just stick to running through the house full speed for my exercise. It’s probably safer that way as long as I don’t fly off of the upstairs railing or fall out of the Cat Tree. What about you? Do you have a regular exercise routine?
Okay, now I’m gonna have a nap and hope the urge to exercise leaves. See ya soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Simon I think most of us get pretty good exercise just running around the house – up and down stairs – around the furniture – jumping up on things to take a snooze and in my case going outside for fresh air and cruising the yard. The most weight I want to lift is when I wrap my mouth around some food and lift it up to EAT! HAHAHA
Hugs, Teddy
Simon, there is nothing better for exercise than long distance cross country running. And it sounds like you might have that all figured out on your own. It’s kind of hard to pick up all that stuff without thumbs, that’s why here in my house I have Lynn to do all that lifting. Personally I will just take long nap. Precious
The cats here run around chasing each other. It gets noisy!
You make a good choice, that weight is just not Cat Size… Mama knows how heavy they are, because she has 2 sets, one is 2 lbs the other 4 and she said they exhaust her. How they do that is a mystery because I never see her pick them up. Happy 4th
MOL MOL Simon
Funny you mention weight today. Mom of my tabby nephew Kat recently told me he tips the scales at 16 lbs.
So much furriness to love.
Hugs Cecilia
My two cats are RUNNING and CHASING each other all the time…they probably exercise more than I do LOL
I am sure you get enough exercise doing it your was, Simon.
your way!! Stupid predictive text!
Simon, Da Boyz exercise by chasing each other around, which seems like World War III to me, however The Hubby is confident that they will make it up…and so far, they always have.
Sweetie gets her exercise by using her vocal cords as often as she likes, day or night.
We are pretty sure she is deaf, so her volume level is broken.
We love her tremendously!
Simon, running up and down the stairs should give you all the exercise you need 😉
You are looking good, by the way …MOL!
Purrs, Julie
Our cats also prefer the running through the house exercise routine, Simon!
Our main form of exercise is playing in our backyard. We have lots of area to run, play and explore.
TW has a set of those green rolly things. I haven’t tried pushing them but I’ll bet I could. I run through the tunnel and do lots of jumping. At least I used to before it got hot and I got that bad claw and now I had surgery. Have a fun weekend.
So that is how you stay looking so handsome. XO
Simon, we have those wkieghty things here too, and even us pups leavw them alone, LOL!
We chase eachother around and play those bitey face/king of the castle(bed) games here, for our exercise…oh, and we exercise the petcretary by taking her for walks:)
Racing through the house sounds like more fun than lifting weights to me, Simon!
Hey, your Daddy’s getting quite good at punning. Be careful though or it could change your life for the worse. Once those puns start running through your mind they just won’t stop!
I think it’s most appropriate that Simon is waiting to weight. You can while away a lot of time that way, and not have to lift a paw.
Does napping regularly count? 🙂
Simon, in all the years we’ve been following this blog, we’ve never, ever seen a messy living area or dirt or dust in your pics. The biped says if you have a cleaning fairy to send them our way!
chasing around after Frodo is the best exercise routine ever! you are looking very fit Simon!
We think running around the house is a purrfect exercise.
I think your nightly runs is plenty of exercise Simon LOL
Lots of naps are the best exercise 😉
That has to be one of the fluffiest cats I’ve seen =^.^=
Oh I’m with Simon on that one. lol His expression is priceless!
That reminds me I haven’t exercise today.
Coffee is on and stay safe
Simon, it sounds like you get plenty of excercise as it is! 🙂
We bet you could bat that weight around with your paw and call that exercise. Or maybe you could curl that big tail around it and lift it way up high:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I thought you had been working out but was unsure if I should say anything. You looks good.
Es muy tierno ese gato. Te mando un beso.
I bet the exercise routine for me, Marv, Kozmo and Jo Jo is the ame as for you guys! Mom and Cinnamon have a routine, though. They walk 2 -4 times a day! Sometimes they walk with Mr T and Cinnie’f furrends, Lil Grrl and Old Guy. Mom’s fall last winter is still causing her some grief with her knee and hip though, so sometimes Mom walks like an old lady with her cane…Mom says there may be a hip replacement in the future when the Canadian Medical system catches up form the evil Covid. We hope you guys are… Read more »
Simon has the same look on his face that I get when I think about working out. 🙂
Regular exercise routine…hmm. We love to go for walks, but are at the mercy of our Mom or Dad. Xena does get a lot of neck and tongue exercise licking herself from her allergies. And when Chia escapes, she gets lots of exercise running top speed through our neighborhood for a few minutes. Anyhoo, we voted and the results show that you should probably leave that weight alone! XOX Xena Lucy and Chia
The only exercise some people do is flapping their gums!
You have a fabulous exercise routine, and i’ll get you do it at just the right time, too, like about 4am.
Sorry, that should read, I’ll bet you do it at just the right time. Sorry, i need to proofread better.
