Howdy, friends, I hope you’re having another fine Tabby Tuesday. As you can see, I’m having a blast. We sure go through the scratchers, it totally doesn’t take long for us to rip them to pieces. Both Seal and I are very efficient and we tackle the scratcher shredding thing with gusto!
I think the Dad’s going to have to restock soon. He usually keeps backups in stock just for us, but I heard him say that the inventory is getting low. We do know he’ll come through though, he knows how much we love these things. Scratchers are just as good as treats. Well, maybe not, treats are pretty darn good and I’m a bit of a treat-a-holic!
I do think I might just take a snooze on this thing. Y’all have a fun Tabby Tuesday and and I’ll be seeing you soon! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
that looks like good work to us ;O)
Oh boy – a new batch of scratchers! Something to look forward to!
Hugs, Teddy
Oh Simon, what those claws must be like. I bet your mom has to run the vacuum cleaner when you two get finished with one of those scratchers.
Cat bro Bert is pretty tough on them too when we have one in the house.
Gee, maybe I need mom to get me a scratcher if they’re that much fun!
Looks like you and Seal have a lot of tun with those scratchers!
June couldn’t get through a day (or night) without her scratchers (there are four) and sometimes she goes from one to one to one before deciding which to use!
Scratchers are like a treat to us, as we go through the house. We see one and oh MY! What fun. Scratching as long and hard as we like and no one is mad at us.
We’re not cats, so we have to ask…do the scratchers keep your nails short? Or are they just for fun? XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia
it is time for Christmas in July so I am betting you will have a few new scratchers by the end of July. get shopping DAD
Simon, it is so good you have something you really enjoy.
Helps keep those paws and claws in shape too 😉
Purrs, Julie
Simon, I’ve noticed that Da Boyz are really working over our double-wide scratcher, but I hate to buy something that doesn’t last very long.
What to do?
Breaking news…I predict Dad will have out his ordering plastic in a nano second.
He is so good about keeping you all happy
Hugs Cecilia
We need to get some new scratchers too!
Yep, those things don’t last forever. My feline furs love the rope on their cat tree. Funny, I looked at that last night and told myself that I needed to get more rope to rewrap the post. You are just so beautiful
It’s the same here (Roary LOVES his scratchers) …he has one that is in good shape and the other is in pretty bad shape, but I am not resourceful like your Dad. I never keep backups. Poor deprived Roary! At least he still has the one that is in good shape!
Sweet photo of you beautiful kitty ~ Xo

Sounds like you’ve been busy working on those scratchers, Simon!
You did this right and it shows. Your peeps don’t mind either. You’re having fun and that’s the most important part.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
We love our scratchers too. Not quite as much as treats though!!!
Wonderful that y’all use the scratchers. Jack is the only cat kid here that uses them. Teddy likes the furniture and Sophie uses the rugs.
The best thing about scratchers is that they are multi-purpose, right, Simon? We are sure you use it in all the ways you can think of!
Our Lucy is quite profient at tearing her scratchy apart! Have a fun day!
Simon, I was expecting you in the bag. Whut happened? Autumn used to rip those cardboard scratchers up. I prefer the tall sisal ones.
Minko was an avid cardboard shredder…with his teeth, he referred the sisal scratchers to the cardboard ones. Pipo didn’t chew on cardboard, but he liked to scratch just about anything.
Hope your Dad will come through with his promise of a new one to work out on, Smon!
Well…..anything worth doing is worth doing well! 🤣
My Nell says the furniture is just fine, thank you. 🙂
Wow..those scratchers look like fun! They should make them for doggies too!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Sunny
You really give ’em a good going over!
You are lucky your dad keeps you well supplied. 🙂
New scratchers are fun!
Simon, that’s what those scratchers are for!
Nice job, Simon! You kitties do some serious scratching, and it’s wonderful that your mom and dad keep ’em coming. 🙂
Scratchers are so important, i’m glad you always have plenty of them around.
A well scratched scratcher is a well-loved scratcher
~hugs~
Uy que tiernos te mando un beso.
Wow, I’ve had scratchers for YEARS and they’re still good! My human has never had a cat family that totally destroyed them. And she has no idea why. She is wondering if there is somewhere secret that I (and her previous cats) scratched that she didn’t know about!
Pawsome job with your scratchers, Simon ! We hope the next batch comes very soon ! Purrs
That looks like a well lived scratcher, Simon, just the way it has to be…MOL… Pawkisses from Heaven for all of you🐾😽💞
Charlee: “And another one down and another one down …”
Scratchers are a waste of $$ here – even with catnip sprinkled on it – the claws never get a workout there LOL
You and Seal are really up to scratch especially when it comes to scratchers. Those things can make a big mess, though. I’ll bet you keep your Mom and Dad very busy cleaning up after your scratchings.
Our carpet is never free of shredded cardboard. lol Enjoy your nap!
