Mancat Monday: Some Answers and Funky Commenting Problems

Hello friends, here we go with another week and it’s really hard to believe that Thursday we’ll be starting into September. Dang, that means that Christmas will be here before you know it. I wonder what wild Kiki will think of the Christmas tree?!?!

Anyways, some of you wondered, based on my Monday Vet Day post, whether or not my Vet visit was okay. I had been to the Vet recently but not this past Monday. That post was a PSA to reminded everyone of the importance of regular Vet visits. Then, some of you wondered how my Ham-mick got turned upside down. Many of you guessed right, Kiki and Simon were rip running and it went flying and landed down side up!

Also, I know quite a few of you have been having trouble with comments on our blog. Sorry about that. When you leave a comment they seem to disappear, so you try again. We appreciate it, but they are all coming through on this end. There is a delay in there somewhere and so far we’ve not been able to figure out where it is, but we’ll keep searching. I might try going back to the commenting system I used previously to see if that helps.

Okay, that’s it for today, have a fun Monday and a terrific week, I’ll be seeing you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

When I do my once a week post, if I don’t see you as first commenter I know I will find you in spam and go and release you! I am having lots of various problems on WordPress blogs lately but have been able to work around them. It is as if Blogger and WP are at loggerheads trying to make things difficult for everyone.
I wondered why your ham-mick was upside down!

Brian, the screen looks different to me so we’re going to say hello and see if it works. We realize the other day that two of our comments went through when we thought we only had one. I’m not ready for Christmas Lynn says it’ll get too cold too fast. Precious

We want to start by thanking you for your kind words about the loss of Hotesse. We also wanted to tell you that your blog posts are appearing correctly in our sidebar for the first time in a couple of years! That’s good news!

The commenting issue happens to my blog too and I have problem leaving comments using google account on other bloggers. So far I am lucky with your blog, Brian.
Simon and Kiki are having fun in the house, huh?

Comments on lots of blogs including our own have been having odd things happen. Ours fixed itself after about a week. Now our info isn’t here, so we have to type it all in in order to comment. It is so frustrating when people can’t comment, we get it and we know it isn’t your fault.

Cute picture of you, Brian. I’ve had that comment delay problem here, and lots of other problems elsewhere lately. Today I’m having to type in all my info.

Happy Monday, Brian! Commenting on blogs in general seems wonky these days. Gotta love technology and all the so-called improvements!

i have been having different problems on different blogs, not the same ones but all different. the only one with yours is on my desk top, all info is saved and I just click and send after typing, but on my chromebook, the info has to be input each time. nothing to do with your blog so must be my browser. I am so used to problems i just handle them. so far the poof thing makin what I typed happens on and off.

You’re most handsome, Brian. I know you all have fun and your peeps take such great care of you.

I was having the same issues with blog comments and I’m now allowing anonymous comments. It’s the only way some can comment. Bugger.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to the peeps. ♥

We haven’t had issues commenting but we’ve had some on our blog. For some reason, your comments were going to spam but the last few came through okay.

The Oceanside Animals

Chaplin: “We should have guessed that was what happened to your hammock!”
Charlee: “Yeah, ever since that crazy puppy came to live with us, stuff gets knocked over or moved around when he’s tearing around the house after Lulu!”
Java Bean: “What crazy puppy is that? Why haven’t I seen him?”
Charlee: “Maybe take a look in the mirror some time.”
Java Bean: “Ooh! Why? Is he standing right behind me?”

Well Kiki and Simon ripping it up is a good thing, isn’t it? I hope by ripping it out means that were running and playing. I love that. Misty and Lily get in the chasing running BAW moments from time to to. I used to think Lily was being ugly cause she would be doing the low deep meowing sound, I finally came to think (looking at the ears) that maybe she is just playing and has gotten vocal with it. BUT…there are other times that she is being ugly!! haha

Thank you for solving the mystery of the upside down ham-mick! Had a feeling Kiki might have had a paw in it.

There seems to be comment gremlins all over Blogville these days. So far, we’ve done okay on your blog.

Meezer's Mews & Terrieristical Woofs

We have issues on both blogging platforms we use. Argghhh! Yours isn’t one of them, LOL!
Time does seem to be just flying along, just like at your den when Simon and Kiki have the zoomies!

We love you Brian, and only want you to be as healthy and happy as you can possibly be.
Having to use an upside-down hammock is not what you signed up for, however…you need lots of snuggles and treats to get over the embarrassment!
*wink*

Sometimes I can see where I’ve posted and sometimes not. I was sending a repost of my comment but stopped doing that. Just know that I enjoy your posts and always read them.

Oh, we’re glad you didn’t have to go back to the vet, Brian. Wow, wish we could watch Kik and Simon running like that together! Sometimes Xena and Chia play together in the morning after breakfast. Yep, we thought our comments weren’t going through one day and sent several, finally giving up. Ha, ha, you got them all! XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley

Brian, you’ll just have to get in on the action, too. There might be more chaos but at least you’ll have some fun. And then have the young ones clean everything up, and you can just watch.

Vet visits are very important, although not appreciated by the victim, uh, er, patient.

It sounds like you have a dynamic duo over there.

Because a lot of blogs have been having trouble with comments going to spam, if mine doesn’t come through i wait a while and go back to check. Usually by then it’s gone through or been approved and rescued from spam, whichever applies.

If you comment on my blog and it disappears, it went to spam and i check that folder every day and rescue all the comments.

That commenting problem is on a lot of blogs, and it doesn’t seem to be getting better!

I wanted to thank you for your kind visits and remarks about Minuet. She was a loveable and loved little creature, and your words show that she meant something to many people and cats. Thank you.

My seven foot tall Christmas tree will stay in storage this December. Terra and Polly’s antics would no doubt bring it down. lol As for leaving comments other than ‘anonymous’ on numbers blogs (even my own!), I finally learned to switch browsers from my current Brave back to Firefox. But I have no issues here. ~shakes head~ Be well!

Hey Brian, You got a lot of action going on there with that youngster running crazily through the house and she got Simon in on the fun. What I like to know is were you in the hammock when it got flipped? Oh gracious, Kiki will go bonkers when the tree goes up! All of the pretty lights and shiny ornaments to tease her mercilessly. It’s gonna be too much of a temptation for one so young. I trust you’ll keep her in control as best as you can. I know she’s a girl and that’s asking a lot of… Read more »
