Kiki Update: The Vet called and said that Kiki did just fine with her surgery, no issues whatsover. The Dad will be picking her up mid-afternoon today. The challenge will be to keep the little girl calm with no running or jumping. Thanks for the well wishes everyone.
Howdy friends, if you don’t mind, today I’d like to ask you to send out some purrs and prayers for our sister Kiki. Today is her spay surgery and we’re al pretty worried about her since she does have asthma. Anyways, as you can see from our photo, I’m not afraid of her any more and we’ve even shared some couch time together. She’s really a sweet one.
Kiki has also taking a liking to my favorite toy, which is okay, we’ve actually played with it together. I thought I’d best keep it safe until she gets back home. I’m sure she won’t mind me looking after it. Oh, she also totally loves those little spring toys, she has a blast with those.

Sending purrs for the new girl! Somehow you’ve all ended up in my spam folder for the past month or so but I figured that out and now I at least know where to find you posts in my email. Kiki surely knew where to show up for the best home after she’d been abandoned! And I’ll bet she had a few conversations with the residents through the glass who told her this would be the deal of a lifetime. Con-cat-ulations to all!

Yahoo! Way to go Kiki and your vet. It’s lovely to see her resting on the couch with Simon to watch over her. I know from Dani’s spay that the procedure is much less invasive than it used to be in the old days. She will recover quickly, I’m sure. Gotta get back to playing around with woolies!

Glad Kiki pulled through her surgery well. If the vet does like ours did, she may be a bit calm for quite a while.
I am glad it was all okay with Kiki and the spaying went well. My 2 girls were different when they got spayed. Abby did well and no issues at all. But Chiana, ahhh, well she kept picking at her stitches, so the funnel went on her head for a few weeks!
I hope you managed to keep that little girl from jumping around!!

I’m so glad Kiki’s doing okay. ~hugs~ However much I adored them as a child, cats caused *me* asthma attacks. No doubt I’ve mentioned it before. But this ironic twist doesn’t amuse me and I wish all sufferers the same wellness that blessed me
