Yes, it’s a wonderful day in the neighborhood and I’m really thankful for that today. We do live in a pretty nice place and there’s lots to see on any given day. We did seem to live way out in the country but dang, the city caught up to us and we’re now in one of the fastest growing areas around here. We’re thankful that our neighborhood is tucked away where it still feels like we are off the beaten path.
Today I just want to share some of the sights from things around us…
I hope you enjoyed a little peek at our neck of the woods. So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Brian, you bring back wonderful, warm memories of my Oliver. He would be so pleased that you do! I love your morning foggy, smoky lake. It’s that time of year for that. Somewhat sad in its beauty.
Gorgeous images!
Right now, the trees are just beginning to change color; it’s always a fascinating process to watch.
You live in a very pretty place! It’s nice to have a tucked away area even when the city encroaches.
Tienes un bello lugar donde viri. Te mando un beso.
That is a beautiful place to live for sure, Brian! I hope the city never catches up with all the rural living spaces.
It’s truly beautiful! Would be fantastic to take a walk there every day.
We are having a fabulishious fall here too! We LOVE your lake shots! Our river is totally full of geese starting their journey’s south and boy oh boy they are noisy! Brian, we had issues with our browser and ended up adding our link twice. We apologize. Keep being awesome! Purrs Marv
Wow! It’s so pretty by your place, Brian. We understand what yo are saying. The city is getting all up in our business, too, but we are grateful that there’s still lots of beauty to see here, too. Hugs!
Oh wow. Just beautiful. I guess I don’t need to invite you here – your place is just as gorgeous!
what a wonderful place… and we love the fall sunlight… it makes the best effects…
You live in a pretty area, Brian. The city always ends up encroaching on the quiet places. It used to be a narrow lane, high and rocky on one side and farmers fields on the other into our local village. The rocks are still there, but the road is widened and lots of houses on the other side. I am glad we live beyond the other side of the village.
There is so much development going on. Mom says she was at the end of the world when she bought our house but now it is being built up all around us. Your area looks just beautiful.
What beautiful views Brian…..peaceful and calm – just what we need these days! Thanks for hosting Thankfuls – we are also celebrating Remember Me Thursday. Sending you all hugs…………..

Brian it looks so peaceful at your neighborhood. Love the photos of the lake. Lynn says we have one here, but I never see it. Even when she takes me to the dreaded V-E-T I am tucked in my PTU screaming my head off. But I’m thankful that is not today! Precious
I believe that all over America, the same thing is happening to all of us. the growth is leaps and bounds over what it was a few years ago. You do have a beautiful place to live and walk. Hopefully the views we see today will remain for a long time.
Your neighborhood is just beautiful, Brian!
Living anywhere but the city is a good thing. You live in a very pretty place.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
Very pretty. Thanks for sharing!
Plenty to be thankful for, for sure!
Brian first I am thankful for a glimpse at ‘my’ bench with you.
What a lovely area I would never guess you were in the middle of the bustling area.
Same here we were not in the city 39 years ago. We lived off a 2 lane road. Now we are in the city and the 2 lane road is 5 and taking a left is a challenge.
Hugs Cecilia
What a beautiful place you live in, Brian.
Beautiful photos of where you live. Thank you for sharing and for hosting. have a great day. XO
So beautiful Brian! Thanks for sharing all that gorgeousness around you, I have location envy now – MOL!
Lulu: “Look at all that space! Those look like great places to run and play, don’t they, Bean?”
Java Bean: “They sure do!”
Charlee: “Spoken like animals that spend time outdoors.”
You do live in a beautiful area. Our neighborhood is small and our house is surrounded by large trees in a small woods, very private, and I’m so thankful for that.
What a beautiful corner of the world you live in Brian! Thanks for sharing it!
xoxo,

Love those pretty early fall images! Your area is beautiful, and looks ever so peaceful. Just what we need these days.
I am so jealous of the area you live in, living in a city we miss the beauty of nature, thank you for sharing those beautiful photos and of course thanks for the blog hop, which I am so thankful for every Thursday, woof from Layla
those photos are GORGEOUS! You won’t believe this but I think of you guys almost every single morning when I walk Levi, we have a lake in our complex (but not nearly as beautiful as yours) and when I walk Levi by it, when I see the ducks and the geese I think of you guys!! Some of the condos/apts here overlook the lake, I sure wish ours did. We just have to walk out our back door and a little way down the road (not far at all) to see our lake. The photo with the sun through the… Read more »

It looks gorgeous there!
Nothing beats country living.
Very sweet and so different from my hood. Our township used to be quiet and small but then developers threw $$ at the local politicians to let them build up our waterfront. Our town is now split in two. We can’t get down there cos of the dangerous highways and they have no need to come up here.
It is so nice to see photos of your surroundings! It looks pretty there.
I am greatful for the sun is comming back in the weekend, and the rain continu next week instead.
Wow guys, we loved seeing more of where mew live, it’s epically beautiful!
Wow, you truly do live in a beautiful place!
Totally loved seeing your area. So pretty looking.
Beautiful neighborhood, Brian. You have awesome views.
Lovely pond you have there in your neighborhood!!!
You live in such a lovely place, we know what you mean by the city catching you up, we used to have a massive beautiful field behind our house, now they’ve build over 200 houses there and the only view we have now is into our new neighbours houses as they’re so close too us xxx
Those pictures are magnificent and your neighbourhood is very beautiful, Brian. What a great place to live😺Double Pawkisses to you all🐾😽💞
I’m happy to be in a quiet suburb. Property at the end of our street was set for development but the landowners wouldn’t sell. 😀 Lovely photos! Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful photos. I love the bright sunshine and the positivity that it brings. Indeed, one of the simple things to be thankful for.
