Hello everyone, you know I’m pretty much a scaredy cat, but I can’t help it. Strange noises make me awfully nervous. Okay, sometimes familiar sounds make me nervous too, like the sound of the front door opening, which means someone who doesn’t live here is coming inside. Yikes, that’s pretty scary, at least to me. Seal runs too, but Brian and Kiki just stay in the living room to check out who it is that is venturing in.
I’ll tell you what else is scary. We’re winding down October, it will be gone before you know it. Those ghosts and goblins will be out n’ about soon. But at least the movies will start soon. What movies you ask? The Hallmark Christmas movies are supposed to start on Friday. I don’t watch too much of the TV, Kiki loves to watch TV, but I do like me some Christmas movies. At least there will be something to watch on the TV.
I’ve already started my Christmas list for Santa. I think I’m going to ask for a front door that doesn’t open MOL! Y’all have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

oooh we would love some christmas movies too… there is always food included LoL
Cosy evenings by the log burner and a good movie always makes a nice evening.
That’s an interesting request for Santa, Simon! Maybe you could organise remote control of the door? We do neither Halloween nor Christmas movies, but we all love to sit with #1 in the evening, whatever she watches on TV (Last night, it was The Rings of Power). Ollie loves TV and goes and barks at it every time there is a dog!
Purrs,
The Chans
Maybe if the trick-or-treaters brought treats for you, you’d be less bothered by the holiday?
Yes, we enjoy X’mas movies too. Maybe Santa would grand your wish :-))
We don’t have children in the area, so no trickntreat worries!
We amuse our dad and mom by (sometimes) watching the Teevee (for a while). We watched more when we were younger, now we mainly snooze through it.
Simon, you and I think exactly alike. I don’t like the front door to open unless there’s nothing out there but sunshine to warm me up. Otherwise there’s somebody on the front porch that I don’t know and I don’t want them. And loud noises, let me tell you when Lynn drops a spoon on the kitchen floor I go flying. And that was even before my trip to the V- e- t. Precious
Mom can’t sit still long enough to watch a movie, LOL! We are excited for winter here. Mom ordered Nelson his own stocking for Christmas, so he is all ready. Hope you find that door that doesn’t open, LOL!
Derry is scared of most things, too, even the familiar ones. It’s perfectly okay to be!
The biped is looking forward to the Christmas movies as well, because she’s not a fan of all the news and so-called reality tv, or programs with violence, etc. In other words, there’s nothing to watch until the feel-good movies are on! 🙂
WOW, you’ve been busy Simon. Don’t forget turkey day before Christmas LOL.
You need a good guard dog in the house who will bark every time someone comes to your front door. XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley
I 100% adore Hallmark movies all year. I’ve already set my DVR for recording them too
Hugs Cecilia
Sweetheart. long about the time you’re Brian’s age, that will make you more comfy if someone comes to the front door. Around here…front door always means strangers. We all use the side door. But I act like everyone is my sister or brother. I missed the scared part, BUT..I wasn’t having to fight for my territory and food the way you and Seal had to. XXXOOO
Yes Christmas is right around the corner and nothing is better than Christmas movies. I’m looking forward to them too. I hope the front door issue can be resolved for you too, but I doubt it.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
Great pose <3
Simon you look so nice and furry today! Front (or back) door opening can be a little disconcerting too, I always think when I hear it, now where are the cats at? Time is flying by for sure, those Christmas movies are “right around the corner”.
A front door that does not open actually sounds kinda good, Simon! 🙂
Bring on those Christmas movies!
Hallmark Christmas movies are always good on a frosty weekend night!
Christmas movies and front doors that don’t open sound good to us too!!
Christmas Movies are so inspiring and nostalgic even! A lot of the peeps I take care of at the nursing home watch those, too.
You made me giggle when you asked for a front door that stays closed, but then the knocks and openings might be at a favorite window…now THAT would be scary! Esp at Halloween! LOL!
Glad you are enjoying the movies sweet kitty ~ you are adorable ~ Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your day ~

We love the Hallmark Christmas movies too, Simon, and we look forward to watching them every single year!
We’re not sure you’ll get that door. Mom saw that the movies start this week!!!
LOL!I thought you might be talking about Halloween movies! I like Christmas movies a lot more. Probably need some alternatives on that list! X
Yep, although we don’t get trick or treaters we will have a couple of pieces of candy for them.
Teddy always runs and hides when someone visits. Of course, Jack follows Teddy’s lead. Sophie wants to be in on the visit and make friends.
My boy does not like the wind and gets a little hyper with it. All the cats are cautious when the door bell goes and the human kitten runs to the door!
Good for Kiki. One of my girls loves watching animals on the TV…doesn’t matter if they are real life or cartoons. She gets glued to it! The other 2 don’t bother.
I’m not sure even Santa could bring that kind of front door, and how would your people get out of the house to go to the store and buy your food?
A front door that doesn’t open sounds good to us! We’re looking forward to Christmas movies too, and we’re also enjoying various Halloween specials!
Tell your folks to let you watch youtube videos for cats on tv. 🙂
I’m like you, Simon. I don’t like noises either. I’m not looking forward to those noisy strangers coming to the door at the end of October. ~Ernie
You are just too adorable! Misty is not fond of loud noises. But she is okay with the doors opening UNLESS she sees someone else besides me or someone with me. Lily, she don’t let anything bother her. The only thing I ever seen her run from was my brothers big white bird. It was walking across the floor and she FREAKED….I just love you and your brothers and sisters.
Uy es tan linda esa gatita. Te mando un beso.
Charlee: “Hi Simon! Hey it sounds like you are really into Christmas. If you have an in with the big guy, please let him know we’re sorry about Dennis tearing his arm off and hiding it in our backyard for Bean to find four or five years later. Thanks!”
I hate that sound, this house was built for three, Daddy, Mommy and me. No one else is allowed.
be sure you don’t get confused and asked for OUR front door to not open, since we have to come and go that door and it makes me crazy. you look fantastic and I have missed you, thanks for the heads up on Hallmark, will now do a little DVR recording
Let me know if you ever find a front door like that. lol Be well!
We like your wish for Santa. The only person we like coming through our front door is our housekeeper, Chris. She always has treats and nip. Have a good week. Hope things at your house remain quiet. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
I hope your peeps come in back door which is prolly connected to the garage. HAH! I don’t hear the door anymore sadly. Pop watches those stupid movies all year. Yeah, Christmas moving every Friday & Saturday ALL YEAR LONG. I guess they’re better than the ER shows he watches.
