Howdy gang, did y’all have a fun weekend? We did, well, most of our days are fun because we like being spoiled a little bit kitties. Okay, maybe we might be spoiled a lot bit, but we do deserve it, as all kitties deserve it. It’s wonderful being inside, safe, dry and warm. It will probably be another busy week with the Mom and Dad doing lots around the house. They really need to slow down MOL!
Hey, about that Heigh Ho thing in my post title. Any of you remember that tune that goes something like this…Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho, It’s Off to the Vet I go. Well, maybe it doesn’t go like that but it does for me today. Yep, I’ve got to take one of those car rides to get my annual rabies shot. Last year when I did this someone commented that since I never go outside I should skip it. That’s not an option in our State, it’s required by law, so, Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho. Wish me luck.
Well, I either gotta get ready or gotta try hiding somewhere. I hope all y’all have a fun Monday and a terrific week, I’ll see you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

we wish you a good day and all the best for your appointment…
Brian good luck with the shot – at least you’re not going to the vet because you’re SICK so that’s a BIG thing!
Hugs, Teddy
Good luck, Brian.
Good luck with the shot, Brian. I have to have the shingles shot in 2 doses 2 months apart because I can’t have the live vaccine. Can you believe that when I went in for the second shot a week ago I told the nurse I had come for my second rabies shot. She couldn’t stop laughing!
Good luck, Brian! We hope it’s a quick in and out of the clinic and that you’ll be home and cosy again. 🙂
Brian, Lynn didn’t want me to have a rabies shot this year. They changed the formula and instead of giving it to me every two or three years it’s now annual. But that’s how we are in Ohio too are they won’t let me in the door if I ever get really really sick. Which I don’t plan to do by the way. Precious
Good luck on your car ride and vet visit!
Good luck to you, Brian. The rabies vaccine is law in our state too.
Ah yes, the “law” says you must, so you must! Here it is annual also, maybe a good thing. Poor Ms Jackie, thinking she needed a “rabies” shot, oh no, oh no, meow! Maybe she’s been channeling Eric and Flynn too often …?
Thank you for the reminder, Brian.
Hope all goes well at the vet, Brian!
Mom finally gave in Brian and always takes me for the shot even though I am inside. Admiral skipped some but…that’s only because her vet at the time didn’t make an issue of it. We both hate it but…it’s necessary. You look like a diplomat with your arm stretched out! Mom’s home again thank goodness.
Purrs all goes well with your vaccine Brian, and you get home quickly!!
Maybe get a few treats too!!
Purrs, Julie
We are not fond of that version of the song where you have to go to the vet, but we’re sure you will do just fine, Brian.
It’s a good thing to get each year it’s just to bad you have to have that car ride. I’ve never had a kitty that liked car rides or the vet. I took them anyway.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my very best to your peeps. ♥
Brian,
I don’t like going to doctors, either. Unfortunately, it’s one of those necessary evils that allow us to stay on top of medical concerns and to make sure all is well with us. I hope you get good mews from your vet. Thinking pawsitive thoughts, little furriend!
odd to see this when just yesterday i saw a friend that lives in VA was bitten on the ankle by a feral cat and is now on antibiotics and taking rabies shots. the feral had rabies. its every where. so rabies shots are a good thing except of course when you sweet Brian have to ride to the vet and get that shot…
We’re hoping everything goes smoothly on the vet trip, Brian! You look handsome today!
Charlee: “Oh no, not a road trip in the carrier!”
Chaplin: “Good luck, Brian! We hope you at least get a cookie for your troubles!”
Not an option here in NC either Brian
I send you purrs for a quick trip w/o any traffic and no waiting in the lobby
Hugs cecilia
Good luck at the vet. Mine is a Ho too.
Good luck Brian!!! We know you’ll do great!
xoxo,
Sunny
Marley: yeah I spent some time at the emergency vet today. Bad place; nice vet. Glad to be back home.
TBT: Every time I hear Beethoven’s V song, I hear “duh, duh, duh, duh; duh, duh, duh, duh” and then the “Heigh Ho” song just falls right along. Same last and first notes, I think. LOL!
Oh, I’m sorry it’s mandated. What you gonna do? I understand such laws have reasons depending upon the US region. Best wishes!
Ha!! Brian! I got mine last week!! Too bad you don’t live by me, we could have gone together!!! I did fine with mine, hoping you do too! Love, Roary
Good luck with the shot, Brian ! Purrs
Hope your vet appointment goes well and that you don’t get too upset in the car.
Hope it all goes well.
Well have a safe trip to the vet ~ be warm and cozy ~ Xo
Wishing you good heatth, laughter and love in your days

Well that sucks! Our state of Tennessee uses only the 3 year rabies and that’s what’s required by law. Your Dad maybe could ask the vet if the vaccine is for one or three years…and besides, you never go out, so how will anyone know? Uh, oh, Mom said we shouldn’t encourage you to break the law. Sorry. XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Rileyp
Well heigh ho I wish you the best of luck and hope all goes well so you can sing on the way home 🙂
Have a heighotastic day 👍
What a drag! Hope you’re back home, safe and sound.
Good luck. Sorry you have to go to the vet. XO
Going to the vet is never fun,but getting your rabies vaccination is important. There’s always the super slim chance that an infected animal could get into your house, or you could escape outside and be exposed. Better safe than sorry.
Genial semana, linda foto. Te mando un beso.
Try and relax so the car ride and vet visit won’t be so awful. You will be back home before you know it!
Our Floki just got the shot and was sick. I hope you had no I’ll effects.
We are blessed to be able to get a 3 year vaccine here, so the cats don’t have to go back each year. Good luck!
