Tabby Tuesday: Monorail Kitty Simon Rides Again

tabby tuesday simon 11152022

Hello friends, the Monorail Cat is back in the Living Room Station getting ready to launch. I haven’t done the monorail thing in a good while. Actually, the last time I did it I was in on the brushing perch in the big bathroom. That was a wooden platform and this one is much softer and easier on the undercarriage. For some reason when I do this thing the photographer Mom giggles. I don’t know why she does.

Hey, let me ask you something. Is your house noisy or are your Peeps noisy? There has been a good bit of noise around our place lately and as most of you know I’m easily spooked by noises, especially the kind that sounds like a door opening and closing. Even closet doors. Well, not all closet doors scare me, there’s one closet door that’s okay, that’s where some of our wand toys live. When I hear that door open I come running. Anyways, how do you get your Peeps to be less noisy?

Oh well, maybe Peeps were just meant to be noisy. Y’all have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone, I’ll be back later, like maybe tomorrow! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Now that looks like a lot of fun! Well the human kitten and the Bengal are the noisy ones in our house! The human is still young and loves to shout and sing and the Bengal is a very chatty boy and runs about mad! He is 12 and still thinks he is a kitten!

Monorailing looks like fun……I’ll have to try it sometime. Noise? Not much noise IN our house but there’s noise AROUND our house. We have very noisy neighbors on one side and perfect quiet ones on the other. Oh well – we just tune the noise out and keep on goin’ !!

Lynn tries to tiptoe around so I won’t always hide under the bed. But there’s a man that lives here and even though he’s quiet, he’s not that quiet. I don’t know about people, they’re just not like us kitties.

LOL! You do look like a monorail on a soft track!

Our house is mostly very quiet, Simon. #1 never turns the TV on unless she is watching something specific, and we live in a quiet place. We like it that way!

I answer your question with a NO not too noisy; however, Angel Madi and her Dad would say otherwise. I’m told when I’m in the kitchen there can be a lot of noise.

You’re adorable when you “monorail” so we understand why your Mom giggles!

Oh Simon!
Look at you, showing off your fluffiness.
Da Boyz aren’t bothered by much noise, though Chili Bruce is the first to hide during fireworks.
Sweetie is deaf, so she isn’t bothered by storms, doors, doorbells, etc!

This human is at least as sensitive to loud sounds as my charges. And my husband is deaf in one ear, so it can be an issue. The older they get, the more difficult humans can be. lol Good luck, gorgeous!

Simon I’m think I might laugh a little too if I saw you on the monorail! You are looking really cute there!

Oh, Simon I am that my furs would tell you that it is noisy here at our place. I always have something going like the TV, the radio or even playing an old fashion record. Plus, I talk to the furs all the time and I sing, making up songs about them. I am pretty sure when COVID let up, they were really happy to see me leaving the house again! I realized when I had someone staying here for a few days that this house has its own noise. Squeaky, floors, and I never paid any attention to that… Read more »

You’re a most good looking monorail cat. Very talented.

Humans can be very loud out times. I don’t think they mean to bother you though.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥

I find our house quiet, and if it is not, I would let my parents know about it

It’s usually pretty quiet around our house since we live in a more rural part of town but one of our neighbors got a new dog and it’s left outside to bark a lot so that makes Millie bark back at it. BOL!

We had plenty of noise at our house yesterday! We’re blogging about it tomorrow.

Takanumi cat used to do the monorail kitty thing, back in the day before it was so easy to take photos.

People can’t help being noisy sometimes, and often our stuff is noisy when it’s working, such as vacuums or food processors.

Simon, our Mom is really quiet, it is our human b orther who is noisy. The new floor has some creaks that drive him crazy though. Even though he drove a zillion screws into the floor (THAT was really noisy) there is a missing joist and the floor creaks and it scares the heck out of me (Marv). Love your Momorail! Keep on being awesome! And catch those want toys!

You are a great monorail cat, Simon! My mom and dad are pretty quiet, and our place is pretty quiet, too. 🙂 XO Ava

We have similar home routines. We have a couch with a rounded arm like yours, but none of us lay on it. Our former kitty Eddie Bear used to lay on it, with his head resting. He was a big boy and looked …. fat! We also store our wand toys in a closet and Pearl comes running whenever that door opens.

Sorry it’s been noisy, Simon! It is usually pretty quiet over here if you want to come over for a visit. 🙂

Our house isn’t too noisy with the kids gone. The only things that make noise are appliances dishwashing or washing machine running or even the hum of the big appliances I notice. I usually drown out every day noises by playing mewsic through my headphones. That’s always much better and it puts me in a good mood. 🙂

The pups are always noisy when they hear noises but Mister Kitty & Daphne mind their business. The Mister cries as if he has been starved if his food bowl is not promptly filled. Love your monroail and photos too. THANK YOU always for sharing.

Umm, we make most of the noise around here. We get our peeps to be less noisy by us not barking at everything, BOL! Don’t think that will help you cats, though!! XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley
