Sister Saturday: A Little Early Santa Watch Scouting with Seal

sister saturday seal 01 12172022

Since Kiki will be in charge of the Santa Watch this year I thought she might need some help. I decided to scout out some good spots where she might be able to catch a glimpse of Santa. Of course there is all kind of places that might work if only she is able to stay away while on duty.

First up is the brown cubby where you have a good view of three important things, the front door, the Christmas Tree and the all important fireplace. This is a really good spot to keep an eye or two on all of goings on.

Then there is the stair landing. From here you can see the Christmas Tree and the front door. The one downside is that the fireplace really isnโ€™t in view from here.

Finally, she could just lay on our new scratcher pad. The fireplace and Christmas Tree are in purrfect view and of course the front door is right behind me.

I hope these give Kiki some ideas for her Santa Watch thing. Have a fun Saturday everyone, Iโ€™ll see you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Seal, I can see you are a seasoned Santa watcher. Let’s just hope that Kiki takes good instructions. And that she’s not such a youngster that she forgets to pay attention. And at some point your dad needs to tell us where you got that scratcher pad. Kind of wondering if someone here might like that.

Seal, where did your Dad find that scratcher pad? Mom said the entire house here needs to be “paved” with those!

We have no doubt that Kiki is finding your suggestions very helpful. We would go for that first spot. It’s just perfect!

Once again, Kiki has the oppurrtunity to learn from her elders. Seal certainly has enough experience to be a good advisor on such matters because she’s scoped out all the best places already.

Love those eyes as always! They are your trademark, Seal, though I’m sure your Daddy wouldn’t trade you for anything.

Have a very Purry Christmas!

You are such sweethearts. Thanks for the smiles. But I think you meant Kiki should stay ‘awake’ not ‘away’ while on duty. ~snicker~ Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Hugs to all!

You are a good sister, Seal, to help Kiki find the best vantage points. We think the first one is it, since you can see all three vital areas. Be sure to leave cookies for Santa Paws, too!

Seal! What a wonderful Sister you are showing Kiki all the best spots. In our house there really is only one as Santa can only come in the front door. We will all be on the sofa! Purrs Marv
