Hello everyone, I’m just hanging around the house watching all of the activity with the young ones. Oh, the young ones includes Maxwell, Macy and Kiki too. Even though Kiki is around a year old now she still is a young one and gets her wild thing going on too. Of course when they aren’t sleeping it off, Maxwell and Macy sure get their get up and go going full speed ahead.
Several of you asked about Maxwell and how he is doing so I’ll give you a brief update. You wouldn’t know anything was wrong with him to see him in action. Every once in a while after a super active play session, of which there are many, he will breath though his mouth briefly. Last Vet visit the Vet heard a heart murmur she hadn’t heard before and that coupled with his open mouth breathing lead to x-rays being taken. There is some odd scalloped shaping on his heart, thus the need for an ultrasound. He won’t have an ultrasound until he is 6 months old since his heart is still too small to show anything definitive at that age. That puts us sometime around the end of February.
Of course that delays his neuter day so Macy will have to do her spay day first. They are both going to the Vet tomorrow for their booster vaccines and if we get any more information we’ll let you know. We do thank all of you for the continued purrs and prayers for Maxwell, he really is a sweet guy.
Okay, that’s enough for today. Have a fun Monday and a terrific week, I’ll see you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

we wish your maxwell all the best and we hope for good news from the x-rays… and hugs for the vet visit tomorrow…
Good to see you hanging arouns Brian heheh! and thanks for the Maxwell update let’s hope they can get to the bottom of it in February and hope their booster vaccines go OK tomorrow 👍
Have a hanging aroundtastic Monday 👍
Thanks for the update, Brian. I am continuing to send good thoughts for Maxell.
Good thoughts for Maxell
Hopefully Maxwell’s heart issue won’t hamper him from having a fun and happy and LONG life…..we have paws crossed for him!!!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
prayers that whatever is there is just there and not a problem. hugs and love coming your way
sorry Brian I did not forget you, seeing you way up there melted my heart
We are worried for the little fellow. Hopefully it will be nothing serious and he can continue on enjoying his lucky little life.
All the BEST for Maxwell and enjoy the vet visit tomorrow :-))
Thanks for the update Brian.
We 2 senior kitty girls want Maxwell to have plenty chance to learn the Mancat ways from you. 😁😁
We send you lots of AireZen and positive vibes, Maxwell.
Brian, thanks fur keeping a sharp eye on Maxwell. We are sending purrs his tiny way.
You’re looking good up there.
You look pretty comfy up there Brian. A good place to snooze and watch the activity as well.
Purrs for Maxwell and I hope he has a good checkup. Macy too.
Purrs, Julie
Good luck to Maxwell!
Glad to hear Maxwell is playing acting normal. We sure hope that whatever is going on with his heart is not serious, and who knows, maybe heals on it’s own. (Yes, we’re a bunch of optimistic pups.) XOXOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley
Maxwell…I purr that nothing really serious is the matter with you. Really I do.
Purrrs for Maxwell. Raz has an ultrasound coming up on the 26th too.
We’re continuing to keep Maxwell (and everyone else!) in our thoughts and purrayers, Brian. We truly hope it turns out to be nothing. Good luck to both Maxwell and Macy at the v-e-t tomorrow!
Brian you gave an excellent update on Max.
Continued purrs and wish them luck tomorrow.
Hugs cecilia
We too are crossing our paws that little Maxwell has nothing serious. In our experience, vets tend to be fairly quick to diagnose cardiac problems that are not always there. So, a more informed opinion is always good.
Purrs,
The Chans
That is a darling picture of Brian! We can certainly purr here till February, or beyond, for Maxwell to have good test results.
I hope Maxwell does fine. Waiting is the best thing right now. Thank for the update.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and healing scritches to Maxwell. ♥
Charlee: “Highest cat wins! That’s you, Brian! Even when you’re sleeping!”
Chaplin: “Thank you for the update on Maxwell! We hope he gets a good report when the ultrasound can be done!”
We are purring for Maxwell.
We didn’t know that Celestial Chuck had a heart murmur; when the vet said it was nothing to worry about, we just forgot about it.
Years later, of course, it became very impawtant.
Here’s hoping our history isn’t anything like Maxwell’s future.
Keeping Maxwell in our purrs!
Thank you for your kind words on Ping.
Sending lots of distant reiki healing energy hugs for Maxwell ~ sweet photo of Brian ~ Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

I think we missed a lot again, Brian. Will send Healing Pawkisses and Purrayers to sweet Maxwell and hope that he overgrows his problems🙏🐾😽💞
We are sending lots of POTP for Maxwell, thanks for the update Brian…
OOH, and be careful not to fall asleep and roll out of your bed, it looks pretty high up there!
xoxo,
Rosy
Awwww Maxwell- hope all goes well!
Praying that whatever is going on with Maxwell, that it is NOTHING! Has to be so nerve wracking knowing you have to wait quite a bit yet. Keeping the POTP going strong!
Thanks for the update. He is in my prayers. XO
Purrayers for any and all vet visits for your crew ! (Human doctor visits too!)
I’m glad that he’s doing alright.
We will continue to purr for Maxwell, and have our paws crossed that his heart will heal itself. Sometimes apparently it does, it happened with a puppy Mom almost got when she was a teenager. We don’t know if it’s the same thing in Maxell’s case but apparently in kittens and puppies once they have a chance to grow sometimes the problem mends itself. We are so glad he is able to enjoy playing with his siblings.
Looking so cute!
We send healing purrs and hugs to Maxwell xx
Bless you all. ~hugs~ Your family is awesome!
The Z Kids and I continue to keep little Maxwell on our prayers-and-POTP list, but glad he seems to feel well!
Sending you xoxo to you Maxwell!!!
I sure hope you discover everything is just fine…
Looking good up there, Brian. Sorry to hear that there is a wait before Maxwell can have his x-ray. But I know he is well-taken care of by his Dad.
Staying on the high ground is a good way to stay out of the way of those crazy young ones. We are keeping our paws crossed that the vet can help Maxwell feel better.
Thanks for the update. Best wishes for him and keeping positive vibes for the best!
Esperemos que todo salgas bien Maxwell y que les vaya bien el dia de las vacunas. Te mando un beso.
I hope Maxwell gets over whatever problem he may have now.
Mondays are always a good day to just hang around, Brian. We will continue to think good thoughts for Maxwell to be just fine. Thanks for the good thoughts for Misty. Like Maxwell, it is hard to tell there is anything wrong.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
You’re looking great, Brian, and i appreciate the update. It sounds like the best course of action for Maxwell is enjoy him and have fun with him and hope when he gets big enough for all the tests it turns out to be a minor issue.
I hope everything goes well for Macy and Maxwell at the vet tomorrow. ~Ernie
I pray this isn’t something that is going to effect poor Maxwell for his lifetime.
Maxwell is in our thoughts and prayers. <3
Poor Maxwell! I hope the vet can uncover his condition fast so proper treatment can be ordered. How do you tell a kitten you gotta take it easy? I’m sure it’s like telling a toddler to slow things down. It’s just not going to happen most of the time. He’s bound to tire out easily so that may slow him down without him even knowing it. Have a furtastic week, furriends!
We hope all goes well with Maxwell’s ultrasound! Enjoy your nap Brian 🙂
xoxo,
Matilda & Mama
That’s some good hanging out, Brian. We are glad Maxwell does not seem to be in discomfort, and purr that everything turns out okay! XO
We hope that the troubles with Maxwell, will not be overly serious…and we hope the vet visit for shots, goes as planned.
We sure hope you get good news after the Feb vet visit!
Relatively good news all around—except when Maxie goes into heat. MOL! I seem to remember Glogirly saying when Waffles was young and did a lot of playing and running around, he would pant/mouth breath. I hope it’s normal in Maxie’s case too.
