Okay gang, let me tell you, the noise was awful, but I was brave. What are you laughing at Seal? I was brave, very brave! Quit laughing Seal. Well, I was pretty brave for me but the noise really was awful. I don’t think I’ve heard a noise like that before, it was loud and it was awful. Did I mention it was loud?
What was it? Well, according to our Mom our clothes dryer vent needed cleaned and sanitized. There was some kind of thing the dude stuck down in the vent and when he turned it on it sounded like an airplane with something stuck in its engines. Did I mention it was loud? It was loud? Of course I retreated to under the recliner. The Dad told the Mom that I probably wouldn’t come out for a couple of days. I fooled them all, I was brave, I actually came out from under the recliner later that night.
See Seal, I was brave and you can quit laughing anytime now. Have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

we agree…ou were super brave… absolutely!! dryers can be very dangerous… even stephen king knows that…. ;O)
You were very brave, Simon. It was a job that had to be done though.
It’s a good thing the dryer was fixed – those things can be noisy if they’re clogged up! How proud we all are of the bravery you displayed Simon!
Hugs, Teddy
If our humans just wore a fur coat like us they wouldn’t have to have a clothes dryer. Humans are so funny. I had to sleep with Lynn last night because I was scared yesterday as we had a stranger in the house also. It was one of the people that comes with the blue bag that I lay on all the time and he was trying to make the TV work.
That probably would have scared our mom too! It’s never good when machines make loud noises.
Yes, you were definitely brave, Simon. We think the sound was so loud that you couldn’t hear yourself meow, and that’s why you kept repeating yourself, right? Glad that ordeal is over for you!
that sounds horrible Simon, sorry for your fright but this was a good thing. fire proofing the dryer is a good thing. I am proud of you for coming out so soon. I think you are getting better and better each day
We had a dryer repair guy here, and I was surprised Latte came out. She watched everything he did … from a distance.
You are brave indeed. We had thunder and lightening this morning. It was so loud that it woke both of us. It has passed now.
Have a fabulous day. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
Mom was telling her boy, my brother, how loud she heard that was. Cleaning of any vents in the house. He had mentioned to her that perhaps she should have that done. Mom said no. Unless it was impossible to avoid doing it any longer. Simon, thanks to your information, I am glad she isn’t in a hurry.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥
I hate all loud noises but my need to protect mom overrules my instinct to hide!
Of course you were really brave and bold, Simon!
You shouldn’t make fun of your brother, Seal! Simon was very brave in his own sweet way!
Purrs,

I’m glad to hear you didn’t hide for too long.
Awww… You’re amazing, my gorgeous dear.
Loud noises rock our world. Frankie especially runs for cover under the bed when they are emptying trucks at the rock quarry.
Glad you are getting braver.
Seal, we send purr and purrayers that they never decide to have the air ducts cleaned !
That must’ve been super scary!
You are very brave, Simon. And good thinkg you let that man do his LOUD thing – clogged dryer vents can be dangerous!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
You did very well, indeed. Tell your parents i am most proud of them for having this done, dryer fires are no joke.
Uy que gatito. Tan valiente. Te mando un beso.
You are living up to your name, as brave as a Navy Seal
Simon! That dude came to our house, too! And we agree — he was LOUD!
Those are noises that we would be worried about too, Simon.Glad you came out of hiding quickly!
We had a similar noise monster here in the early fall…they had to come and clean out some plumbing pipes that were thick with buildup and wouldn’t let water pass through…hence we had a very flooded cellar. UGH! We barked those two dudes out of here, so we must have been very brave! LOL!
You were very brave, Simon! Loud noises are scary.
Thanks for ideal of sanitized the dryer vent.
Coffee is on and stay safe
You were brave and smart to get out of the way of the noise. Don’t let anyone tell you differently.
Charlee: “I would be right there with you under the recliner, Simon!”
Awww Simon- I would have run and hidden under the bed!
