Howdy gang, no, I’m not really sleeping, I’m just resting my eyes. Do you believe that? Well, our Dad says that sometimes so I thought I’d steal his line. I’m up on the back of the couch just being a flat cat. The Mom and Dad didn’t know I could flatten out like this. Well, basically I’m just doing a full monorail kitty on the back of the couch and I just look flat. In case you were wondering, it really is comfy.
Guess what else I did? I did something that was highly unusual for me. I asked Brian if I could borrow one of his beds and he said yes. So, I piled in and started fluffing it up, I fluffed, and fluffed and fluffed, then I laid down and took in easy, in one of Brian’s beds. I never go in a cat bed and I’ve always just ignored them, but not this time. It was pretty darn comfy too. Thanks to Brian for sharing with me, that was mighty nice.
Okay, I’m going to finish resting my eyes now. Have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
You do look very comfy, Simon! I bet that bed was looking so inviting you just had to give it a try…and you loved it! Imagine that!
he is a super brother… to share a bed mean a lot ;O)
You do look very flat, Simon. Where have you hidden your tail?
Well you are doing a very nice monorail there but cat beds let you wiggle around and curl up and if you tried that on the back of the sofa you’d fall off!
sometimes a good long stretch really does the trick !
you look like a smaller version of the well know photos of a tiger flattened on a tree limb. you also look supper cute all flat on the sofa back. you are getting braver by the day, borrowing beds to fluff.. thanks brian for sharing with with your brother
You have a good brother, Simon. I hope his vet visit was quick and that the results are/will be good (think he was having bloodwork, yes?). As for you, that’s an impressive monorail/flat cat impression!
Tell your dad that I appreciate his words of condolence on Derry’s passing. I know he and your mom understand the pain of loss only too well. ♥Thank you.♥
I was afraid for a minute Simon, that the mom had ironed you flat. It’ll be curious to see how often you use one of Brian’s beds now that you know how comfy they are. But of course that couch look pretty good.
You are so adorable as always! I guess as you get older, you get more brave and are not so afraid to try new things.
Simon, the back of the couch is a pawsome place to be a flat cat.
You look mighty comfy too 🙂
Yay for Brian sharing one of his beds that you enjoyed!!
Siblings can be cool 😉
Hey there flat Simon. Sometimes it’s fun to try something new and worth taking the chance. We didn’t know that cats “made their beds” like us pups do! XOX Lucy and Riley
Sorry, we had a “paws” in our visiting and now that we’re back, must improve our reading skills … were all prepped to respond to SIMON the FAT … sorry, maybe we’ll do better tomorrow. Simon, you’re flat and trim and as handsome as can be, apologies.
You do look extremely comfortable. It looks as if someone has been “fluffing” your furs! XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
You’re a flat cat indeed and very handsome too. I’m glad you enjoyed Brian’s bed. Very unusual. I’ll bet you do it again.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
So, you are resting your eyes, Simon 🙂 That sofa is for sure a favourite spot for all of you.
You have managed some serious flattening, Simon! It’s a good job you’re on the back of the sofa and not on the floor, as someone might walk on you!
There are no pics of you fluffing up Brians’s bed?
You sure look comfy hanging out on the couch like that, Simon.
You do look very comfy, Simon, and that was SuperNice of Brian to share his bed with you!
Good work at flattening, Simon! Sounds like you’re being adventurous in your sleep lately!
Simon, we are both flat cats, via monorailing. It’s my fave way to lay.
You are so brave to move to a cat bed, and you look really comfy on that couch – enjoy!`
you sure do look FLAT MOL!! That was so pawesome that Brian let you use his bed. But then again, I’m not surprised. Brian has always been a generous kitty xoxo
Simon I say Bro Brian is the kindest big bro. And I rest my eyes lots too
Wow Simon, you are totally mastering the art of the snoozy!!
Happy eye resting!
You do look like a steam roller went over you, 🙂
yoga pose 😉
What a good sleep you had! Hugs!
You look super comfortable where you are napping.
Very fine flat form, Simon. But what did you do with your tail? BOl
Misty and Timber are great bed fluffers too – they like ti take the blankets Mom has on top of their beds and fluff them up and scrunch them up in a messy ball. Lightning likes it so much when Mom lays his blanket flat and neat.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Fluffy or flat, you are amazing, Simon!
Oh Simon, you look so cute stretched out and having no cares in the world. I love it.
It was indeed very nice of Brian to share! I don’t think Amarula would ever share her bed!
We think you look extra cute when you are in your monorail mode, Simon ♥
Uy que linfa foto. Te mando un beso.
You make a great flat cat, maybe you could be like Flat Stanley and go around the world in mailing envelopes. Then again, maybe you’d rather stay home.
Congratulations. That is a big achievement.
I think you’re learning about the finer things in life, Simon.
That’s an awesome monorail cat, Simon, And yes, that was super nice of Brian to loan you that bed!
So glad you enjoyed a bed! You look so cute in this picture.
My grandpa, use to say he was resting his eyes.
Coffee is on and stay safe

Charlee: “Monorail! Next stop, Springfield!”
It looks like someone let out all the air. ~giggle~
So cute!! Maybe you were dreaming of flying 😉
Simon, my Gramps used to always say he was resting his eyes and he’d be snoring away. HAH!
