Hello gang, thanks to you all for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Some of you might have noticed me up in the cat tree more frequently, I’ve been getting around great and I’m most thankful for that. My wonderful Vet suggested I try the new monoclonal antibodies injection for osteoarthritis pain, which is not an uncommon thing as we age. The injections are monthly for three months. I have had two shots and will be getting my third on Monday, then I’m done unless I need feel I need another one.
The shots really have helped me, I head to the big bathroom and hop up on the brushing perch if the Mom or Dad even think about heading that way. I go upstairs frequently to check out what might be in the kittens food bowls MOL. I go in the big bedroom and hop way up on the big bed. I’m thankful for this new treatment and I am thankful to have much better mobility. Of course I’m thankful for a wonderful Vet that takes good care of me.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

How wonderful, Brian!
This is excellent news, i’m glad the new treatment is helping you so much!
Brian, I am so happy to hear there is something to help with your mobility!
As we cats age, we can get stiff joints like humans. It’s good to be active
and it’s also fun 🙂
Purrs, Julie

I am SO thankful the shots have worked so well for you, Brian! That just makes my day!! I was literally just thinking about asking your dad how the Solensia was going yesterday. You must have read my mind. We love you, dear Brian! <3
OH, we are JOYFUL for the shots working. I wish they had worked for me…I had three and was one of the kitties for whom they did not work well. BUT that said, now that the B12 is working, maybe the shots will work! Thanks for the info and we are so GLAD FOR YOU❤️
that is so good to read! and we hope it will help fu ever and ever and ever…
That is really interesting, Brian. We will ask Dr. C whether these are available here as Queen Tama is getting a little stiffer these days.
Purrs,

So good to know that your shots are helping you Brian. Moving around is important – especially because we like to enjoy different views of our domain every day right?
Hugs, Teddy

Dear Brian, I am sure you feel so much better by being able to jump about again. A cat misses that because that’s how we’re made, to run and jump, climb and then sleep a lot. Precious
That is great you are feeling better!
Being mobile is a very good thing as we get older, Brian.
Beau and I are joining our thanks with yours for those shots that allow you to do what you always did.. so happy for you
We’re glad the shots are helping you!
Wow, that’s super great! We’re happy you’ve got a good vet who knew what to do. Have a wonderful Thankful Thursday, Brian! XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley
I am so glad that medicine is helping you. My niece’s cat Nixon has had one injection so far and improved greatly. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
Brian! I am going to ask the vet if she thinks I have arthritis! I have a hard time jumping. I can do some, but nothing really challenging. I use the stairs mom got me. I need to address this.
Oh Brian what happy happy news you are in motion. You have me dancing in my chair.
Once a physical therapist told me motion is lotion for the joints.
Hugs Cecilia
That’s fabulous! ~hugs~ You have the best humans.
Wow the therapy is working and that’s a wonderful thing. It feels so good to be up and around again moving like normal. Good things to be thankful for!
Feeling good is always something to be thankful for. We wonder if they have those treatments for dogs too. Not that we need them yet.
Today Zane and I are thankful that the workers have been here the last two days and gutted the entire upstairs. Monday the floor goes down and they will rebuild the master bath. So excited that this is finally in progress.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday and rest of the week. Scritches to all the kitties and my best to their peeps. ♥
Yay for you Brian! Thanks for sharing this info, I’ve got some kitties getting older and this is good to know.
Charlee: “Ooh, we hadn’t heard about this kind of injection for osteoarthritis, but we’re glad they are helping you, Brian!”
Chaplin: “You’ve got to move-it move-it, as the song says!”
We truly are thankful for people and cats like you! Keep the faith. The year of the rabbit is coming in a couple of weeks and in Vietnam they wisely call it the year of the cat! Things will be a bit gentler and wiser going forward. Meow my friend
Sounds great, Brian ~ keep that sweet body moving ~ Xo
