Hello everyone, thanks to you all for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
I’m thankful for the highest high spots in the cat trees. Not only are they a good place to nap, a good place to observe the goings on, they are also a place of safety, yes, safety, that is unless you roll out of up here. It’s really good to have a place that is up and out of the way. You know lots of us kitties love our high spots.
So why do we need a high up safety spot? Well, I can tell you first paw, when those youngsters get their running game on you really need to be up and out of their way else you might get trampled by the stampede. Boy do they go flying and they are not really concerned about what or who might be in their way. Besides the youngsters, Simon gets up here in the mornings when the Mom is walking the Dyson. See, when it comes to Brian’s Home, you’ve got friends in high places!
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Check out ZOOLATRY today (Thursday) for the 1st Edition of PET SPEAK … with thanks to all who contributed “words” on our post earlier this week! zoolatry.blogspot.com

It’s best to get out of the way of those energetic youngsters, Brian!
Sorry, didn’t mean to get on the blog hop before you.
Friends in high places, heeheehee! You’re right, that is a great place for safety when a running game is on. It probably also works for snoopervising.
Those high places are good to have, for sure!
Charlee: “One word: Dogs.”
Lulu: “What about dogs?”
Java Bean: “CHARLEE! CHARLEE! Can I chase you a little? Please please PLEASE???”|
Lulu: “Oh.”
That sure does look like a great place to be above the fray of those young ‘uns, Brian! 🙂
I bet your keeping a good eye on things, up there.
Coffee is on and stay safe
Brian, Jo Jo tells me that is the reason why she hides in the bay window in Alex’s room….She does not like Me and Kozmo running over her when we play chase! Purrs Marv
Owie. Jo Jo, you are a petite little girl…those big ol’ mancats can knock you over.
The higher, the better :-))
The Boss of the house
WOW, those young turks must be something to avoid at all cost! Ah…youth.
That is a great place to keep out of the way of kittens and Dysons!
WOW – now that’s what I call a “bird’s eye view” —— oops I mean “cat’s eye” !!
Hugs, Teddy
now you have me humming Garth Brooks friends in low places, while reading about friends in high places… us dogs have to go with the low places hiding, since we can’t climb. Beau says he would get high if he could when daddy drags out the Vac…he goes in the kitchen to wait it out because it has tile floors and only gets the sound of a broom sweeping and mops don’t make noise
Brian, since I’m now 11 years old and spent 10 years living with Lynn, I’m not sure I could share my space with another kitty. You’re lucky that you have a high spot but you’re probably also lucky that you’ve got brothers and sisters. Precious
Momo loves to nap in the sky hammock up in the study, but Benny has never shown any interest in it. We’re all different, right?
We’re glad you have safe spots to get away from wild kittens, Brian.
Purrs,
The Chans
Brian, you’re to funny😹We have to admit that we are up there since day one…so better watch out for the little ones, they’re coming…MOL…Double Pawkisses for effurryone🐾😽💞
Dude, we love our cat trees, and we love climbing the trees in the garden too, with Fudge being the #1 daredevil at BBHQ! MOL Happy Purrsday to mew all, and thank mew for hosting!
We’ve heard that’s a Willie Nelson song, BOL! High is good for kitty cats. Us pups are more in the “low places” BOL! Hey we’ve got to jump over to YAM Aunty’s and see what’s “up.”
Oops, we meant we have to drop over to June’s to see what’s “up.”
Stay safe in your tower. At least the little ones are small. When we dogs get going, it is very dangerous, even for the humans!
That does look like a safe place to be when young cats are tearing through the house!
MOL!!
Purrs, Julie
We like places that are up high too!
You’re right, Brian, being up high gets you out of the way!
Getting up high is a good thing to stay out of the way of the young ones. They do race from here to there and back.
Today I’m thankful that the template guy was out yesterday to measure the countertops and shower walls on our master bath. We’re almost done with the bathroom remodels. The kitchen is all that’s left and it’s in the works too. We’ll have a new home inside pretty soon.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
Glad you have a safe spot. How sweet of your mom to walk the Dyson daily. 🙂 Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
Kittens can be dangerous – MOL! Stay sane up there handsome Brian.
MOL MOL MOL Friends in high places. Oh Brian for sure. Angel Madi did love to be high…and lots of times she surprised us with her high flying leaps.
MO walking the Dyson. That was funny
Hugs Cecilia
Looks like a good spot to keep an eye the goin’ ons and out of the way of the crazy young ones.
walking the dyson… that is clever! High places mean safety but also you’re able to see what’s happening in more places, just don’t roll over
Glad you are enjoying your ‘high place’ ~ sweet regal photo Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

That high perch looks like a great way to stay out of the way of stampeding little ones. BOL!
“walking the Dyson”. My mom got laughing at that! She loves the description. And she would love to see the youngsters racing through the house. You have to be right though about being up and away from the stampede.
We think we might need a dog version of those high places. None of us like it when Mom runs the Oreck noisy beast. The small Dyson is OK, but that Oreck dude makes a lot of noise. We wish we had some youngsters running around here, but Mom says she doesn’t that is going to happen:(
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Delightful throughout! Meow
That’s a great place to supervise what’s going on and stay out of the way too, Brian!
That is a good thing that you have escape to spots for security and safety!
That petspeak post was fun!
I am a HUGE fan of running to the top of my cat tree to get away from annoying Levi! Love, Roary
High places are just plain fun too. We don’t have any energetic youngsters around here anymore, but frenemy dog could be lurking.
Wow, you are pretty high up there, Brian…but we totally understand!
I bet that does sound like a stampede! MOL
Happy Thursday to y’all! Thankful I had a chance to join you this week (it’s been a very full month!)
Siempre ahy cosas que agradecer. Te mando un beso.
Sometimes the young ones want to get up high too.
I wish I had a high place like that I could stay when there is trouble
That’s too high for me! 🙂 I’m thankful to keep myself closer to the ground. That way I won’t have as far to fall. 😀
I like my safe spaces too – my corner of the couch, which is big enough for me to tuck my feet up under me … Thanks for hosting Thankful Thursday!
I so agree it is best to get out of the way of the stampede for some peace and quiet. I this week am thankful for your Blog Hop and 12 years with Layla which you can read about on our blog, have a wonderful weekend
Jezebel doesn’t climb high anymore (I’m glad since she injured herself slightly in 2019) but, thank heaven, those young hooligans tend to keep paws off in sacred spaces: litterbox, food and water stations, and her two favorite napping spots. 😀 Be well and stay safe, my dear!
My cats would agree with you about being high up — but because of our puppy!
You have a really nice high spot in the house there! We love our high spots too. Now if we could just get Mom to get us a tree… 😉
You look very comfy. Dis are definitely where I take one of my midday naps and my get away from the mean machine (vacuum) place.
xoxo,
Matilda
Whoa! I can remember those days but I can still rip and roar when I feel like it.
