Hello everyone, thanks to you all for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’m thankful that the temperatures have warmed up nicely here in the South, it was actually around 70F here. Even though we are inside kitties we can sure tell when the warm hits. It won’t be long now and we’ll be done with Winter. Oops, I hope I didn’t jinx anything by saying that. The only problem here is that we’ve been having rain 4 out of the 7 days of the week.
Our ferals are sure thankful for the warmer weather. When it is cold the Dad can’t keep their feeding stations cleaned up sso after while they get that new barn smell. Since it was plenty warm yesterday the Dad got their feeding stations all cleaned up for them. Of course the rain will be back today and they will get them muddy again, but at least the barn smell is gone.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I’m glad it’s warming up for your feral cats and cleaning was possible between rains.
Brian, I recall the first time I cleaned out The Cat Hotel for The ‘O’ Cats, and I was panicked that the cats wouldn’t come back.
They did, and they always did after a good clean-out.
But, there was always a bit of concern that they didn’t like my messing with their straw.
Chaplin: “Warm is good, clean is good, warm and clean is best!”
Lulu: “But not TOO clean. I like something I can roll around in a little.”
Charlee: “Dogs are so gross.”
Glad your dad takes care of the homeless kitty cats
Coffee is on and stay safe
We’re glad the temps in the South warmed up a bit too! We and the kitties like the warmer weather.
We sure are thankful that your dad cares so well for your ferals! And that you finally got some warm weather. 🙂
That looks super cozy and warm!
Send some of that 70-degree weather over this way, please!
Glad the weather has warmed up for you. We have 50 this morning which is good, no ice! It is grey and murky though.
Its warmer than normal here for now, too, we abot 50F on Wednesday. We’re 37F now, that’s amazing to be above freezing att night.
Brian, you sure do look comfy.
Your Dad is a wonderful man to keep the outside kitties area all spiffy.
It’s been weirdly warm here too Brian…..70 yesterday and more of the same today BUTTTT we have snow in the forecast for Sunday. Weird – definitely weird! Thanks for hosting the THANKFUL Hop!
Hugs, Teddy
Glad you like the warmer weather and it is good for the ferals too.
Our community tends to some ferals and we are thankful they have gotten through prob the coldest part of the winter.
Brian your daddy does a good job taking care of the outside kitties. We’re to have warm weather today but the winds are going to be 60 mph for 12 hours at least. We’re hoping the roof stays on because I don’t want to get wet as I am an indoor Kitty only. Precious
We are seeing signs of spring here too although it has been cold and sunny lately. But we love the sunpuddles!
Purrs,
The Chans
I have thought several times about how much your Dad has to do to help the ferals. I know they are grateful and we who read about it are as well.
I’m glad it is warmer there. I feel sorry for ferals on cold days.
that is good to see how mr. winter goes away… hugs and all the best to your feral furmily…
Your dad is such a gem taking such good care of the ferals, Brian.
It’s a little warmer here too, Brian, but today we’ve got lots of rain. I guess that’s better than snow!
Mmm, Brian ~ wake up sir, the clean up crew needs some assistance … oh, you’d rather nap a bit longer? OK, understood.
I am glad your temps warmed up for the ferals too. Thank you for hosting. Have a great day. XO
We’re sure the ferals appreciate everything your Dad does for them. Please send the rain to us!
we are desaparate for rain here, our yard is nothing but sand. My brother lives in Augusta GA, not all that far from you and his wife says it will not stop raining. I get a text each day, good morning, it raining. or its going to rain. to bad we can’t exchange a little sunshine for a litlle rain
We’re warming up here too and we’re happy about that. Glad dad got the feral station all cleaned out.
I’m thankful that our upstairs remodel is almost done. By next week they will have completed everything. We’re so pleased with the results.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
We’re glad the weather is warming up for you. It’s been above average temps around here too. What a crazy winter we are having.
MOL MOL Dad made ‘hay’ beds while the sun was shining yesterday.
Hugs handsome friend
Cecilia
We like it in warm land here in NC too. Our back yard neighbor has a feral and I’m sure she is liking the warm weather now too! Purrs, and xo
We’ve had lots of rain and cold too Brian, but today the sun is shining – yay! Enjoy your sunpuddle handsome boy.
you look so peaceful on your clean soft bed. Makes me want to paint your portrait, I’m not that good to capture your handsome furs but I’ll try!

thankful to not be in the hospital! Was in the hospital twice this past weekend (racing heart), they are pretty sure it isn’t my heart (possibly anxiety), had a holter monitor test yesterday so we will see. (I did Lenny’s birthday post before all of this happened)…..I am ok, just nervous!
I am sure the feral are happy and I hope they realize that they are so LUCKY to have dad. He rocks in taking care of the feral and his adopted babes inside. We have had some really strange weather this winter. Today it was 65 when I opened the door for Lily and Misty to venture out on the deck but temps are going to start dropping and be in the high 40s come Sat. YUCK…..stay warm, find you a big ole sun puddle.
Yay for warmer weather! Yesterday we had a warmer day…and today it’s back to windy and chilly. We are thankful we have fur coats and sun puddles to keep us warm!
xoxo,
Rosy and Sunny
I’m grateful for friends like you
It’s warm at my house too. Daddy is about to rip the plastic off the windows that kept out the cold this “winter.” Really, there was no winter to speak of. Mom spent more time in shorts this winter than long pants. Wishing yoo a sunshiny day! Love, Dori
yes, I agree ~ warmer temps help everyone ~ be cozy all ~
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days ~

Thankful to be here today and for all God is doing in my life!
So glad to hear you are experiencing spring-like weather where you are!
I know well that barn smell! We’ve had a lot of rain too, but we need it. So good of you to take care of the ferals even if it does mean a stinky barn when it rains.
We’re Thankful for your dad for taking so good care of the ferals, and You of course💗Double Warm Pawkisses for all of you🐾😽💞
It’s a little warmer here as well.
Thank you for caring about and providing foot and shelter to the ferals.
I am thankful for the furnace that blows warm air around and keeps me cozy warm.
I am thankful that mum puts out birdseed for the chickadees and ducks .
I am thankful that Spring is next month(39 days away for Spring) and then the grass will grow again 😉
Purrs, Julie
Glad the Dad is so good with the ferals and keeps them warm and clean. I’m thankful TW finally got the strength to go out today. Even though it’s low 50s, it still feel like 40s.
Look at that dreamy look on your face!
I am thankful for the warmer temperatures even with a bit of rain. Your Dad is a wonderful man to take such good care of y’all and for caring for the outside catkids.
Mis nenas tiene una cama igual. Te mando un beso.
Brian, we are a tad jealous! With the warm and cold we have here the snow is more like ice and the mice, moles and voles are all running around UNDERNEATH the snow! It makes it hard for us to catch them! We are glad that your Dad takes such great care of the ferals! I bet they are grateful too! Keep being awesome guys! Purrs Marv
I don’t know if it even got up to 40 today.
Coffee is on and stay safe
I am so happy it is warming up, Layla has had enough of being stuck indoors so we are thankful for the sun and very thankful for your Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Have a wonderful weekend
Is that new barn smell, like a new car smell? lol We’re enjoying warmer temperatures, too. I’m loving it! Usually by the end of February, we’ll see Tulips popping up. I hope we don’t have a late season like last year. I’m ready for spring to get here! It makes me all the more thankful to live in east Tennessee. 🙂
Brian, you are so precious! The weather’s been about the same here, and Mom got our dog lot all cleaned up (2 times!) this week.
I am thankful to be warm and dry and safe. But more Winter is coming to Montana next week!
You and yours are the best. 😀
We’re so glad mew are getting some warms, it’s got up to a pawstively heady 12C here today! MOL
