Hello everyone, thanks to you all for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  I am always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today, and I think I’m speaking for the original Fab Four (Me, Simon, Seal and Kiki), that we’re all thankful for some of the normal things that have come back after a short hiatus.  When you have two youngsters in the house, both of which had to undergo their surgery thing, normal sometimes seemed like it was in a galaxy far, far away.

So we’re thankful that Maxwell and Macy have their normal kitten life back. They are back to running around like crazy kitties, up and down the stairs, up and down from the Cat Trees, the rumbles down the stairs and snoozies just looking cute.

I must admit that I don’t play too much these days, sometimes I do, but I thankful to see that evening playtime is back to normal.  Kittens keep you young and not only do Maxwell and Macy enjoy playtime, but Kiki and Simon look forward to it every night too.  Nah, Seal isn’t to much into playing but she does like to watch.

I’m also thankful for routine couch time with the Mom in the evenings.  Oh, I had couch time all along but the Mom often had to get up quickly to check on one of the healing kittens.  Now the only problem I have is waiting my turn.  It’s not unusual for some other kitty to park it on the couch, so the couch is unavailable, but I’m pretty patient in waiting my turn.

So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

The three fears, that things will never get back to normal, that things are already back to normal, and this is it, and finally, there is no normal!

I’m glad your house and your kittens are back to normal routines and fully recovered.

Brian, we are pretty sure that Sweetie is happy to NOT be around Da Boyz when they are crazypants while playing; she’s a sideline kitty these days.

You aren’t lacking for sources of entertainment at your house Brian that’s for sure! Glad you have some quiet time too just watching. Thanks for hosting “Thankfuls” – it’s a highlight for us and we of course also have Angel Sammy’s poetry day today too. We are super thankful for your friendship!

Words of Wisdom is what you have today. we NEED the young, but they do sometimes make it hard for us seniors. you are looking so handsome today, I ran my finger accross those soft crossed paws and smiled at your smile.. I have only seen one kitten play, when my son got Jesse James, ha ha on the name, he was from the old wild west and kept us in stitches with his antics.

Brian, I’m thankful to have a bid to hide under this morning. We have terrible lightning and thunderstorms today and it scares me something awful. As a matter of fact I haven’t even eaten my breakfast so you can guess how bad it must be.

Brian, with a houseful of cats, I can see there would be a waiting list for the mum’s lap.
I so hope you get first pic and get to enjoy the lap often and for a good while ;I think you have earned that privilege!

Thanks for reporting life has returned to normal again at your house. The young do keep the old young feeling which is true for hoomans, too. I often said, my kids keep me young. I’m not too sure about the granddaughter. I surely can’t keep up with that little ball of energy. I certainly do feel young at heart regardless if my legs can keep up. 🙂

My direct link for today’s post is here! The Linky Tool wasn’t playing fair today. I don’t know why it is the thumbnail code gives me such a headache. I suspect it’s my browser doesn’t work well with the site. Oh well…I’m participating today!

I’m thankful that Spring might appear this weekend for a bit. We’ve had a cold, windy and rain filled winter.

Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties and my best to your peeps. ♥

Charlee: “You’ve got that right about the youngsters, Brian. That little Oona has been tearing around the house like a lunatic every time she’s out.”
Chaplin: “I’m sure WE were never like that.”
Oona: *GOES TEARING BY LIKE A LUNATIC*
Lulu: “From what I’ve heard you were exactly like that.”

I’ve been catching up and I’m glad to see that Maxwell’s snippity snip went well and he’s back to zooming around like a crazy kitten. We’re thankful that our Molly finally got rid of her cooties (a urinary tract infection that took two rounds of antibiotics to clear up). Thankfully, she is very forgiving about being pilled for 24 days.

I’m glad you have a viable description of “normal” and that your normal has returned! I still struggle with the description of normal in my own life; but I guess it includes the good health and happiness of my two Z Kids. As for me, normal is struggling to adapt to life without hubby. I miss him every waking moment of every day. Some days I make it through without shedding even one tear, most days I shed at least an eyeful of tears. But I’m thankful that at least my sweet, loving man is free of his dementia-induced demons.… Read more »

Oh, we hope those kitties heal well and jump around to amuse everyone and keep you all young. What a great crew you have at your dedicated kitty house. Mama would like more, too, but….and Sawyer don’t worry…I don’t play much now either but we know we are fine with that, right?

We don’t have to be up and running all the time. It is for the little ones. You all take care and know I love seeing you here.
