Hello everyone, thanks to you all for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’m thankful for treats on the slow side. Yes, seriously to both of those. Most of us kitties here like our treats. I like them, Simon likes them, Seal likes them, Kiki likes them, Maxwell likes them and Macy likes to bat them around and play with them like they are toys. Oh yea, Macy loves to take a treat and bat it around on the hardwood floors. Of course if you ask me, we never get enough treats. Simon will practically inhale them so quick they often come right back up.
Well, that’s where the treats on the slow side comes in…
We’re thankful for our slow treat feeder, we really are. Dad can and does put some treats in there at night and we can paw them out whenever we’re in the mood. We can’t paw them out fast, so even Simon can enjoy his treats on the slow side. Most mornings the treats are gone, but not always. We really don’t mind pawing them out of there, it’s kind of fun and we earn those bonus treats.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
A treat is a treat is a treat, Brian.
What a great idea! Little Girl and her boyfriend have slow feeders for the dogs, but i hadn’t realized you could get one like that for cat treats. We’ll have to try it, as treats get inhaled here, too.
That slow treat thing is pretty cool, Brian! We like that this way, you can all have some of those yums.
Que bien que los cuiden y los mmien Los animales siempre deben ser felices. Te mando un beso.
Puzzle toys are great! The boys have a couple, and I usually put treats in one before I go to bed. Carmine and Tylan both love getting them out of the puzzle and nomming them.
That slow treat feeder is neat!
Working for food, things take time…
That’s such a pretty feeder. Loads of kisses to the adorable darlings.
That is a good idea. It not only slows everyone down but keeps you entertained too.
That’s a great idea! We all have different treat favourites and #1 tries to please us all. Queen Tama loves Churu, Benny loves stick treats in small pieces, and Momo loves dehydrated chicken treats.
WOW……never heard of a slow treat gadget – my Mom might consider something like that except she thinks I’d eat it along with the treats. Tee Hee. Thanks for hosting THANKFULS Brian!
How to eat treats without gaining weight…. Oh dear ! That’s torture … MOL
Good luck guys =^x^=
Brian, that looks like a clever treat toy.
Cat bro Bert has been eating his meals out of that very same slow feeder for years. He has never been thankful for it because he loves to gulp things down. We can attest that this feeder will definitely cause everyone to work for their treats. What a great idea.
Y’all get treats every day? Don’t think I will let the three here see this…they might think I am a stingy mama and start scratching me.
I am thankful for your Dad and Mom’s care of the ferals. Certainly, for you in the house as well. Truly.
That is so cool! I was looking at some cat toys and came across different versions of the this. It feeds your kitties’ minds as well as their tummies.
That’s amazing I never even considered that slow feeders could be used for cats, but it’s so obvious now I’ve seen your post, nobody likes to see their treats or food a second time around if we eat too fast
Bear refused to work for his treats. Ellie, on the other hand, would work her tail off for regular kibble. Hahaha.
Gee! That is quite the thing Brian!
I bet you cats will find faster and faster ways to get the treats out.
You can’t keep a treat from a car for long!
super duper great idea!!! no snarfing of the treats to create tummy problems.
We are *always* in the mood for treats 😸😺
That is a very cool way to slow the treats down. Thank you for hosting. Have a wonderful day. XO
a slow treat feeder? that is a super thing… (said the mama)
We’re thankful for all the treats we get too. Our way for having treats on the slow side is when we have them stuffed in a Kong and we have to work very hard to get them out.
Treats are good and eating them slowly is a good thing. Helps Simon not throwing them back up.
Today I’m thankful for another day to spend on this earth. Waking up each morning is a gift.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to all the kitties and my best to the peeps. ♥

Very 😎 cool treat feeder, Brian! I bet it’s fun for the humans too, seeing y’all deftly using those paws!
ahhhh it’s fun to play with your food! I like that new toy
Charlee: “That looks like some kind of cactus! But if it has treats in it I am okay with that …”
That is a brilliant idea, thanks for sharing Brian!
Nice gadget! Be well, my dears.
That is a good way too exercise, too…you have to work for the rewards.
that is pawesome! It would be great for a kitty that eats too fast as well!
What a cool new gadget! We have snuffle mats that Mama hides our treats in…but we haven’t tried a slow feeder!
Rosy & Sunny
We doggies have pretty much the same kind of deal for slowing down on the eating, Simon!
Oh my, do you share one treat slower downer? We might argue over who gets to play with it next! XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley
That sounds like fun!
Sometimes we also try to eat our treats too fast. It’s wonderful that your Dad got you a slow treat feeder so you can enjoy treats overnight.
Ninety percent of my waking hours are consumed with thinking about treats
We adore your new treat feeder, Fudge definitely needs one of those as he is like a mini orange Dyson where treats are involved! MOL
Today we are thankful that it will be April tomorrow, the weather isn’t so bitter outside, and we can go in the garden more to snoopervise the big spring clean up.
A slow treat feeder? Never heard of it!
Have a wonderful weekend! 🐾
That’s a great way to make the treats last longer.
What a great way to get your treats as you can enjoy them slowly with fun rolling the ball, that is pawsome. Layla is thankful for her snuffle ball where I put her treats and it keeps her busy. Thank you as always for your Blog Hop and have a wonderful weekend
We do the same as Macy, we started with one…MOL…We have never seen anything like that, Brian, but we sure you all like to score one out of it😸 Btw you’re looking great boy😺Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to all of you🐾😽💞
