Hello everyone, thanks to you all for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today, on behalf of 5 out of 6 of us, I want to say that we are thankful for our daily dental hygiene routine. Yes, you read that right, 5 of us get our teeth brushed every single evening. As most of you know, I lost most of my teeth to resorption several years ago, so every evening the Dad jokingly says “Brian, it’s time to get your tooth brushed”, since I do have one canine tooth left in the front.
Seal, Kiki, Maxwell and Macy each get their teeth brushed every evening and the Dad is thankful that they are all so cooperative with the process. Simon doesn’t get his teeth brushed, at least not yet, and the Dad is thankful to still have his hand. As you might have guessed, it’s a bit risky to try to put anything in Simon’s mouth.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Da Boyz had dentals done a year ago, and thankfully have all of their teeth still.
Sweetie has four teeth left, but she spent many years living rough.
Cats need good dental care!
We think it’s great how you cooperate with Dad to get your teeth cleaned. Hopefully, Simon will join the movement soon. 🙂
Simon, don’t you know you need to brush all the teeth you want to keep?
Brian, i’m glad you and most of the rest cooperate. Here’s to a clean mouth!
Siempre hay que cuidar de nuestras mascotas. Te mando un beso.
Brian, that is so good of your Dad to keep the teeth of all kitties who will allow it, in such good shape. That’s sure to help avoid any future tooth problems!
my..that’s a lot of work for dad…everyone needs a proper dental care!
What a wonderful Dadda you have there, dear Brian. We also brush Mishka and Laila’s teeth but on bath days. 🙂
Simon sounds hilarious, but I bet his bite wont be so!!!
So grateful for you Brian and Seal, Kiki, Simon, Maxwell and Macy and your beautiful family.
Thank you for hosting and making this blog linky so much fun and another reason to express our gratitude. Today I’m also grateful for my 14 year-old who took all the pictures that went into my post.
Love and laughter and loads of paw kisses.

Well, our admiration for your dad is HUGE! Does he have one of those steet gloves that chefs or butchers wear? I had teeth, as you can see in the blog hop, but 4 of mine got reabsorbed, too, and now I only have canines (badly named!!!) and four on the bottom of little chewers. Thank you, Brian, for all you do for kitties.
It is so many things to be thankful for if you bader to notice
You are all good to cooperate apart from Simon, but there always has to be one! Eric had gingivitis from a very early age so both boys had their teeth brushed daily.
Pixie was so excited to join, she jumped up twice! Thanks for this info too. We’re thankful. ALOHA
every single evening? wow… the mama cleans our teeth twice per week.. it seems she adopted something from you today LOL
We’re thankful for so many things and having a place to “voice” those thanks every week is great Brian – thanks to you for hosting!!!!
Hugs, Teddy
I did not know this about cats until I met all of you. Never even thought about it. I am wondering what is in the toothpaste, maybe a little cat nip? glad everyone cooperates, except Simon of course. Have you thought of saying Simon Says brush your teeth and see if he will do it? MOL MOL… you go Simon
We are applauding your dad for all the teeth brushing! The four of us get ours brushed, but not the cat. Everyone prefers to keep their teeth, so dental hygiene is a good thing.
Hi Brian, we are thankful too that you have at least one tooth left. But wouldn’t it be a “feline” tooth, not a “canine” tooth?” Were you just checking to see if we were paying attention? XOX Lucy
You must get a lot of yummy soft food! XOX Xena
Risky? I can’t even get hold of Precious to try to pry open her jaw! I would
rather that I could. I do not like having a cat going to the vet every few years
and being put to sleep for deep cleaning. But I know at 11 years old, I’ll never
brush her teeth. You keep that canine toothie, Brian.
Yay for you brushing the cats teeth!
Mum never got into the habit so I have to go to the Vet :/
Purrs, Julie
I would so so love to brush Katie’s teeth. She is like Simon.
Good dental hygiene is so very important, Boris has a bad heart so it’s doubly important that his teeth and gums are kept in good order, so glad to hear you all get your teeth/tooth cleaned xxx
I am so impressed that most of you get your teeth brushed. I need to attempt this with some of my kitties. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
We don’t get our teeth brushed but we do get a dental chew every day and eat crunchy bones to help keep our teeth clean.
Brian…you and Dad are fun-gis. Oh yes I hear you on a dangerous cat mouth. Angel Madi was 200% positive anything in her mouth was for eating including the fingers of her mom
Hugs Cecilia
Momma sends her thanks to remind her to brush our toofs. Fwankly its gonna be a big job because none of us is all that co-opurrative. Love, Dori
Dental hygiene is so important. Our Angel Little Bit got her teeth brushed every morning. He teeth were is great shape all of her life.
Today I’m thankful that our lower cabinets are going to be installed in our gutted kitchen. We’re cooking our dinners each night at home though. We planned ahead so we didn’t have to do take out.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday and rest of the week. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
Good toofs are important. So far, none of us need Dentals.
Yes, ! dental health important ~ Hope Simon joins the gang soon ~
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Sweet Brian, I’m glad you get your tooth brushed, you have a good Dad! Now for Simon … MOL!
I need to brush Milo’s teeth but don’t really know how. Cole wouldn’t let me
Dental care is very important…how pawsome of your Dad to help you with your teefie brushing!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
Our kitties used to get brushings too…with a teeny bruush, and kitty toothpaste. Us pups endure it with a bit of a bigger brush…
Teefs are so very important to look after. I keep telling my human kitten that! She refuses to do hers a lot!
Excellent advice! Our Lucy gets her teeth cleaned on a regular basis! Cheers and thanks for Thankful Thursday!
We never knew that cats get their teeth brushed just like dogs do!
I never thought of brushing my cat’s teeth. Don’t think Teddy or Jack would be cooperative but Sophie might be. She’s fine with getting a manicure.
You have the best dad! That must be quite a process each evening!
I applaud all of you for allowing your teeth to be brushed. ~the mom
Dental hygiene is important, and so are hands! Good thing your Dad knows who wants to cooperate! Thanks for hosting Thankful Thursday!
I am proud of you for practicing good oral health
You have a great dad, Brian.
Dental hygiene is important 🐾
Kudos to your human =^x^=
To get you all completed clean… lol
Have a great fang and enjoy treats later
xox
How epic to have your fangies brushed every day, we get our yearly dental check-ups, but so far the P.A. has been unable to coax us into regular brushing at BBHQ! MOL Happy Friday and we hope mew all have a totally epic weekend!
No wonder I like Simon so much! As you can imagine, no one wants to go near my mouth.
Dental hygiene is so so important and it is great that you have a routine, once you get into that routine it is so easy to stay on top of things, Thanks for your blog hop as always
Thank Cat your Dad still has his hand, Brian…🙈Now I have a smile for you too😺Extra smiling Pawkisses for all of you🐾😽💞
that is admirable that your Dad does that! I am supposed to brush Levi’s top canines……I do it (occasionally) which isn’t acceptable! I need to do it regularly!
I’m guilty of never brushing kitty teeth after failed attempts years ago. ~sigh~ Be well!
