Hello everyone, how was your weekend? Ours was actually pretty good. We helped the Mom and Dad celebrate their wedding anniversary and they both said to tell you thanks for all of the nice words and thoughts. Then, Seal might have mislead everyone yesterday when she said she was “mostly” better from her dental surgery. Truth be told, she is all better now and I can tell because she was back sleeping with Mom and Dad at night. She does seem pretty happy now.
Anyways, can you tell from my photo that I’m hearing something? The look on my face probably gives it away too. Well, out back there are two nasty bluejays that are dive bombing and attacking our ferals. They are sure yelling loud, the bluejays, not the ferals. The poor ferals are having a difficult time getting to their food. The Dad put up the deck umbrellas so hopefully the bluejays won’t like those and will keep aways.
Okay, now that the noise might be settling down I’m going to try for a nap. I’ll catch you later! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

happy anniversary to your people… and a big hug to your sister… we hope the dental thing is fur-gotten and done….
Those blue jays! They are rather like bullies around here…and yes they are LOUD!
We prefer the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team…LOL!!
Yep we can see you’re pondering 😺😸
Brian, those jays do make a racket, they were dive bombing and screaming at the Owl the day we saw him in the yard. Poor sweet ferals, I hope the umbrellas helped. the blackbirds do the same thing and are even louder than the jays
Brian, it’s a good thing you’re inside instead of outside. Don’t want those blue jays getting your fur off your tail. But then on the other hand I kind of wonder if maybe you can get the blue jays.
Glad your Mom and Dad had a nice anniversary AND happy to hear Seal has recovered from her dental visit. Sounds like other than those annoying bluejays, you all are pretty darn happy!!!
Hugs, Teddy
Happy belated anniversary to your wonderful parents! They are truly special people. We also hope the mean birds leave the ferals alone.
I hope the deck umbrellas keep the birds away. Bluejays are such pretty birds to look at and photograph, but oh, they can be bullies!
Pretty birds they may be, but pretty pestery, too! Hope little ferals get to their foodz …
Good to hear Seal is all better and back to normal 😉
Your photo caption is just perfect lol hope you had a good nap 👍
Have a naptastic Monday 👍
Happy Anniversary to your folks Brian 🙂
Bet is was fun to help them celebrate too.
Good to hear Seal is better.
Birds can be cool, but they can be annoying too!!
Purrs the umbrellas work! maybe wind chimes?
Purrs, Julie
I know the relief and gladness that always comes to our parents when we kitties are finally all better. We get miserable with hard visits to the ebil v-e-t, but our Moms and Dads suffer right along with us. And the blue jays!! We had to go out and rescue Robin from them. She was our last indoor /outdoor girl.
The bluejays can be such a pain! We’re so happy that you’re all better, Seal!
Poor ferals..hope the blue jays leave them alone!
Aww, bad blue jays!
Leave the cats alone, they aren’t bothering you at all.
Brian, your human is smart to think of umbrellas; hope they work.
You look handsome today Brian, and we’re glad to know of Seal’s complete recovery! Hope those umbrellas deter the blue Jays! Jays and other birds go for our ferals’ food here too but it’s usually after the cats have eaten their fill. There are lots of birds around this year!
We don’t have blue jays in Europe, just regular jays, but #1 remembers them from her time in Canada. They are pretty noisy!
Purrs,
The Chans
Brian, I’m glad your mom and dad had a nice anniversary. Also, happy to hear Seal is better from his dental surgery. I got on Thursday to get my new bridge (bottom lower jaw) seated but I’m a bit concerned. Those teeth that he did restorative work on seem a bit sensitive but I have a crown on the upper rear molar same side that is bothering me, not to mention the tooth that chipped that he fixed about a month ago is causing me concerns. I don’t know what’s going on but I have a sickening feeling this is… Read more »
Oh sweet photo of you ‘listening’ ~ adorable ~ and so glad Seal is well and family had a great anniversary ~ Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Yikes…we hope those mean bluejays go away and leave the ferals alone.
I have seen mockingbirds attack cats but not bluejays. They must have a nest nearby.
Brian
I’m so happy the staff had a wonderful anniversary that was made especially good sharing it with you and the siblings.
I love the color of the bluejays but they areawkward and loud.
Hugs Cecilia
Happy belated Anniversary.
I’m glad that Seal is back to normal. Great news. Dental health is so very important.
Bluejays are noisy and they love to fight with each other.

Those darn bluejays are such bullies! We bet those umbrellas help.
Happy Monday!

Rosy & Sunny
Sorry for being so late for your Anniversary, but we hope we’re in time to wish you many happy more💗Oh, Brian, we thought those Blue Jays were kind of coyotes, but we searched them and saw a birdie…we’re out now, so maybe we can help you with them🙀Double Pawkisses for a Happy Monday to all of you🐾😽💞
I am glad your mom and dad had a good anniversary. Maybe beach windmills we used to have as kids would keep them away if you put them on poles to keep them higher. The ferals might not like them at first, but I am sure they would soon get used to them.
The poor ferals should eat them.XO
I’ll say yet again that your parents are the best people. 😀 Be well and best wishes to you all.
We bet those blue jays have a nest somewhere nearby and that is why they are attacking the cats so much.
Blue jays are hateful birds. Mom knew an older neighbor who got attacked in his basement by a bluejay. The blue jay won! Hope the umbrellas work. XOX Lucy
Let me at em! XOXOXOX Chia
Hope the umbrellas do the trick!
Bluejays are mean and wicked. I hope the umbrellas help keep the birds away so the feral can eat. You look adorable while in tuned to the noise outside.
Those robins must be kamikaze pilots who have decided to visit you as birds
My, my Brian. What big ears you have! And come to think of it, those eyes of yours are quite a good size, too. I guess I’m used to seeing pictures of you sleeping. Purrhaps you could use those bluejays as an alarm clock.
Linda foto y ojalas las cosas se arreglen para los gatos salvajes. Les deseo una buena semana.
I seen Jays being pretty aggressive.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
You have a very thoughtful Dad. He works hard to keep everyone safe, free from pesky critters, and fed.
I hope your parents had a nice anniversary. And I hope you were able to get that nap in!
Those bluejays can be very pesky. Mom remembers being divebombed when she was a young girl. Maybe there was a nest nearby but they are scary.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
The jays probably both want the food and have nests near so don’t want any nest raiding going on. We’ve had a mockingbird going nuts every time Tripod SissyCat lays on her sun porch, it has a nest near and is trying to defend it from a cat that is 17 years old and has only 3 legs! Her hunting days are over (she’s not feral any more, after all) but the mocker doesn’t know that.
Blue jays are so much trouble.
