Hello everyone, thanks to you all for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I wanted to say how thankful I am for fluid things. Yes, that’s right, fluid things. I am most thankful that my Dad and Mom are able to give me fluids via IV at home. I don’t have to go to the Vet to have it done, we take care of it here. Plus, I can get my regular dose of B12 with my fluids when it’s due.
Also, I’m thankful that our dear friend Sierra, from The Cat Blogosphere and Fur Everywhere, told us about Hydra Care for us kitties that have kidney disease and for those who don’t hydrate enough on their own. Sierra said I might like it and indeed I love it and I look forward to it daily. Seal and Simon really like it too, the others not so much. Thanks Sierra!
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We know that your pawrents will do everything possible to keep you healthy, Brian; they love you so.
I’m glad you can get home fluids, Brian, that really does make things easier.
Brian, I’m going to have to catch up with your kidney issues. We have a specialist appointment later this month for our little Molly, who has already had two UTI’s and has concerning lab tests regarding her kidneys. I’m glad you’re tolerating fluids at home. It sure makes things easier to not have to go to the vet so often.
Uy que bueno que esté mejor Brian y que lo cuiden mucho. Te mando un beso.
Your parents are wise to give you the fluids at home. We used to do that with Little Girlie, years ago. It’s much less stressful than a car ride just for a few minutes of getting fluids every few days. I’ve never heard of Hydra Care, i’ll look it up, we might need it at some point as all of our cats are getting older and kidney trouble is a real possibility again in the future.
Thank you for hosting Thankful Thursday!
You mom and dad are so great, Brian. We are really thankful that they take such good care of you. And how nice of Sierra to give you that awesome tip!
Good to hear you are doing OK and Thank You Sierra for your wonderful help!
o my..Brian, how lucky of you having parents like them. They are the heroes!!
We are so happy you, Simon, and Seal like the hydra care happy hour so much!! Carmine thinks they should make him the hydra care spokescat and pay him with as many of those pouches as he wants. 😉
I am thankful for springtime and almost summer now.
We are so happy for fluids at HOME and we love B12, too! And thankful for all of the good news from bloggers about such things. That is a beautiful photo of you, you handsome devil.
I am glad you are doing well and can get your fluids and B12 at home, Brian.
that is so so good to have something what works… the suggestions of our friends are always da best..
this is great news, thank you Sierra! so happy this has cut back on the vet visits.
Brian, it can’t be easy on any of you knowing about the kidney disease. But we are glad that you are at home getting anything you need. That part is easier on you all.
Brian you are looking good and it is so nice to see that you get such great care. It is also cool that the Blog community can reach out with great ideas for cat care 🙂
Getting treatment at home instead of at the Vet office is pawsome!
Purrs, Julie
That is great. Anything to keep even us doggies having to go to the vet is a good thing. Have some water and enjoy your day!
Brian, we didn’t know you were getting fluids that way. We thought maybe you were getting something extra good to drink. (Chia: Vodka?) We all hope it doesn’t hurt much or at all, and are glad for that other stuff that other person told your Mom about. XOX Lucy, Riley, Xena and Chia
Brian, I’m thankful you have great human caretakers, and that you’re such a good patient. ♥
I am sorry you need fluids Brian, but glad you can get them at home. Thank you for hosting. Have a great day. XO
So happy and thankful you are doing well with your fluids and vitamins. Stay hydrated and well.
Stay healthy sweet ones and so grateful you have the pawparents you have ~ Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Brian we hope you stay healthy
Yay for mom and dad taking care of your fluids at home. Angel Madi also let us administer her SubQ fluids. I would never have expected her cooperation since she didn’t like to be held. We both think she knew it was better to be held by us than taking a car ride to let strangers do it.
Hugs Cecilia
wow, mom and dad as doctors… that’s great! Glad you’re able to do that and it all makes you healthier. Whew!

I will see if Google will tell me what hydra care is. Brian, you be SURE to take great care of yourself. You mean a lot to Mom and me.
Charlee: “We’re glad to hear you’re getting the fluids you need, Brian!”
Chaplin: “Our legendary sister Trouble the Kitty also got fluids at home. Mama and Dada called it the ‘Kitty Spa Treatment’ because she would purr and purr from all the attention, plus, you know, the treats.”
Oona: “OONA ALSO LIKES TREATS!!!”
It’s good that you can get your hydration at home instead of going to the vet. That’s great news. Your peeps take such good care of all of you. I’m thankful that today we’re heading the our boat for a 6day/5night cruise. Going to meet up with friends at our first port of call and then just hubby and I at our second port of call. Always love our first cruise of the year. Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday and rest of the week. Scritches all around and my best to… Read more »
I looked it up. Doesn’t say if it’s treats, something that goes in water, or what. I’ll ask Sierra.
Hydra Care… my sibs ChauncieMarie and now Opie have kidney issues, so I’m telling Momma about this. And I’m so happy yoo are doing well with IV fluids. When Momma’s tabby Buddy got diabetes he had fluids for many years. He lived to 24!!!
Your peeps are the bestest, Brian!
Those are a couple of very big thankfuls Brian! We are so glad you are staying healthy with help from friends and family!!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
I’m so glad you are getting what you need every day Brian. I’ll have to check out that Hydra Care, you never know when we might need something like that, thanks!
That is wonderful, Brian, that yu can be treated at home…so much less stressful than going to the stabby place.
We’ve never heard of Hydra Care…maybe that would have been helpful for Pipo,if it was available back then…
You have the best kitty parents in the world!! We use broth made just for dogs and cats to keep Roary hydrated!
Anytime you can treat yourself at home over going to the doctor is good reason to be thankful and it decreases your chances of picking up sick germs from others. I’m glad to hear the product suggestion is a hit with you. There are so many thankfuls all around us. God is sooo good! Have a pawwwesom day, little furriend!
Brian I’m sorry you NEED to have fluids but I’m VERY HAPPY that you can have them at home instead of at the vet’s. I know you are more relaxed at home. That’s a good thing. It’s also a good thing that you have THANKFUL Thursday – we all need to focus on our thankfuls!
Hugs, Teddy
Love your new blog makeover -lovely photos and fresh spring color!
We are wishing you all the best!
That is wonderful, Brian. Our human sister’s kitty Felix had to get fluids too; that was a long time ago. Felix had to go to the vet’s office for his fluids because Sissy was too nervous to do it herself. We are so glad it helps you.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
That’s a purrfect thankful!
Those sound like fine reasons to be grateful
Marley here: The vet says I have ta visit again next month for “fluid” issues. I may need injections too, but I will find out in a few weeks when they steal more of my bloods to test.
Thanks for sharing the information about Hydra Care. Wish we’d known about it when we were treating Fiona for CKD. We are particularly happy you can get your fluids at home, Brian. It’s so much easier than having to go to the vet. Misty May has CKD, but at almost 19 we aren’t surprised. But she’s a huge water drinker and stays well hydrated. She’ll have blood work tomorrow at the roundup. Big hugs and POTP for you, Brian.
Keeping hydrate is important for all of us, two leg and four leg.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
Happy Friyay guys, we hope all is well, today we are thankful for blue skies and sun puddles as we watch the P.A. plant our catnip and catmint seedlings into bigger pots! Just curious, is it just us, as we can’t see the link up?
Our mom and dad got one of those fountains for us and we drink more from it than we used to from the bowls. M&D think it’s more interesting for us to drink the moving water all we know is we drink more from it than before we had the fountain MOL. 😸😺
That’s wonderful, Brian, your pawrents are the best😺Extra Pawkisses just for you🐾😽💞
I am so happy you can give the fluids at home it will be less stressful for all of you and I am sure make life a lot easier. I am thankful that Layla for 16+ years old is still healthy and keeping me on my toes. Thank you for the blog hop this week
We agree. Fluid at home is so much better than going in.
~hugs~
Sierra should get paid by Hydra Care. She told TW about it. I loved it at the beginning but now not so much.
That’s amazing news that your parents can do your IV’s at home, so much less stressful for all concerned I’m sure, for some reason I can’t link up this week and kept getting an error message, either that or your dad has several links somewhere to approve. Really hope the home IV’s are helping xxx
