Hey gang, how is your Tabby Tuesday? Mine is always pretty good, and today is no exception. Today though I’m kind of taking it easy. Okay, I’m seriously taking it easy, but that does seem to happen a lot lately. Just all of a sudden it’s NAP TIME! Us kitties really are good at that nap time thing just about every day.
Most of the time the nap times are well deserved. The young ones, Maxwell and Macy, sure keep me busy. They want to run and romp a lot of the time and as one of their older brothers I feel obligated to join them, in a supervisory roll of course. They run, romp, roll, pounce and play a lot during the day. Up and down the steps, through the living room and dining room, down the hallway and back up the stairs.
Then they’ll grab a toy and go running, drop the toy, grab another, go running again. We end up with toys scattered everywhere. I have to take time to show them how to REALLY pounce on a toy. Oh, and quite often Kiki joins in the fun too. So, for now all is quiet and I’m going to enjoy this nap.
Have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

It looks like you really needed that nap, Simon.
I’m thinking your house would be exhausting, Simon! I can barely keep up with one “kitten!” ~Ellie Mae
Simon, it looks like you make the best supervisor.
it is amazing just how loud the thunder of paws can be while running and romping. Beau can wake me up by just walking around the bed on the carpet, I hear his paws. I am thinking with 2 to 4 sets of 4 running around, wow!
No wonder you need your nap time, Simon, with all that activity in your house!
SIMON! Do you all have a Fat Pink Mousie too????? Mine didn’t come to the bedroom last night but he is present and accounted for. YOU look like you’re completely exhausted, and that pillow you have is so fun. You can wake up and start playing really fast!
It sounds like your nap is very well deserved, Simon!
Simon…bless your little tabby heart. Thankful you have a prop for your head so you can kinda sleep but have your eyes at the proper angle to see Double M’s ready to pounce.
Hugs cecilia
Simon, you are just a smidge older than being a kitten yourself…enjoy!
And this on again-off again rain probably adds to the “take it easy” impulse for you as it does for us.
awwwww Simon hope your day is peaceful with naps!!
Whew, Simon! Those youngsters are keeping you busy! Good to see you grabbed a snooze today, though.
Charlee: “Any time is a good time to take a rest. I think I might take one right now …”
One of the great things about retirement is that there is always time for a nap.
A well deserved rest amid the toys.
Kittens are so full of energy and so fun to watch. You’ll train them to do things properly, Simon. I have faith in you. Nap time is good for the kitties and for the peeps too.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to all the kitties and my best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
Isn’t it good to have some active kids at home?!
What a great big brother you are, Simon! Always leading by example!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
You enjoy that nap Simon, although I can’t see how your head position is at all comfy – MOL!
Wise move, Simon! It’s important to get enough rest so you can keep up with the youngsters!
Purrs,
The Chans
Very cute shot. 🙂 XO
Whew. We got tired just reading about all that stuff, Simon. Have a great nap!
I’m glad you have fun playing with the young’uns!
It sounds like preschool for kittens!
Napping is an important part of the day and it makes us ready if something happens and we need to act.
Genial foto. Te mando un beso.
Nap time sneaks up on me frequently…….I’ll be playing like a crazy cat then whammo – I need a nap. I say “go with the flow” !!
Hugs, Teddy
Our house is always covered in toys. Cooper Murphy loves to move them from room to room. Simon, you look absolutely adorable. Hope you had a great nap. Sweet Simon, we don’t know why, but Granny knows exactly how you feel, maybe she can join you😹Extra Silent Pawkisses🐾😽💞
That’s how it is with little kits. They wear you out just by watching them. You should be glad, though, because it means they are healthy and happy. Look after yourself, too, Simon and pounce only when the time is right. Then have a snooze. In this case snoozers aren’t losers, they are just recharging their batteries.
Oh, I want to tickle that belly. 😀
