Hey gang, how’s your Tabby Tuesday going? So far mine is going pretty good, however, yesterday Brian forgot to tell you about our weekend, quiet it was not. Here’s my summary of things…Door Open = Hide Quick. Let me tell you, the door opened way to many times. One of our neighbors came over, the door opened and I ran and hid. After that I decided to be brave and come out. Well, guess what happened? She came back again. I ran and hid again. I think we need to get rid of the front door so that scary think won’t open. But Brian said there has to be a way in and a way out. Hey, we have a garage door and back door. I suppose visitors would just go to those doors instead if we didn’t have a front door.
Anyways, I did spend a considerable amount of time hiding because of all the front door activity, I even missed a couple of meals. I really am hoping that this week will be quieter than the weekend was but the Dad said don’t count on it. Hmmmm, I wonder what he means by that? He sort of hinted that there might be some noisy delivery humans here this week. Yikes! Door Open = Hide Quick!
Have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

you missed even meals? oh vey.. can you get two meals now for lunch to bring balance back?
Those airplane ears tell you don’t like the door opening! It must have been bad to even miss meals!
We don’t like the doorbell! Both Ellie and I make a run for it when we hear that! Even if it’s only on tv … ~Latte
I hate intrusions on my daily life too Simon…..I like it when it’s just me, Mom and Dad and I can nap and feel secure. Hopefully whoever opens and shuts the door today at your house comes and goes quickly and things settle down so you can have some PEACE!
Hugs, Teddy
Simon, I guess you’re just playing your very own game of Hide and Seek. Precious doesn’t like to hear car traffic slow down in front of the house because she thinks they might come in here.
That pesky door. The best cure is to confront that door on its own home ground. Then maybe pounce on whomsoever comes through… assuming they don’t have a gift for you that is. The more you go to that door the more likely a gift will come. At least thats my logic. Mrs H just thinks that’s one step away from being a highwayman! MOL

What a super idea for Simon!!!
Some cats just don’t like things to be different. Sophie used to always hide if anyone came over but if they stayed for a long time she would come out and sneak around to assess the situation.
How long have you been living in that house already, Simon? How come are you still so shy??
your face says it all purrfectly! Beau loves the front door, he wants everyone to come in and pet him. Hope there are not too many opens today to make you miss a meal…
Simon, your mom and dad are the only ones you trust. That is understandable. I have to tell you that my Mom is still smiling at your thoughts and ways. I’m afraid you’re right. There are other doors, drat the luck! Now, ask Brian how he handles deliveries. He can be a good help, I promise.
Oh Simon! You really need to put your Brave Pants on!!! Maybe if people coming through the door held treats and nip in their hands?
Purrs,
The Chans
Friendly peeps come to visit you, Simon. You don’t have to run and hide. They won’t hurt you! Company is always welcome at my house.
Simon I bet $100 bucks the neighbor hoped to get a glimpse of you and your amazing EYES..that is why she came so much
Hugs Cecilia
We get excited when someone comes to the door and like to greet them with barks. Maybe you should try making loud noises to get them to go away, Simon?
Teddy always greets me at the door but if I’m home and and the door is opened he runs and hides, of course Jack follows. Sophie I have to watch because she wants out.
Simon, the color of your eyes iz spectackuler
Simon, it’s too bad visitors don’t get to see you, because you are a furry gorgeous sight! Nevertheless, we agree, if a cat feels more comfortable hiding, let that kitty stay hidden.
Poor Simon! I’m sure the neighbor didn’t mean to scare your handsome self.
You have to hide when the door is opened. I chuckled with you wanting to get rid of the front door.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
Oh Simon, we sure hope it quiets down a bit this week for you!!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny

No no no. Missing meals? Your pore little thing 🤗
We do not like people coming in our front door either!. We do like for the heavy door to be open so we can look out the screen. But we run if anyone comes up on the [orch
Simon, you are adorable…a scaredy cat, but adorable.
Is there any way you’d consider just hiding until the door closes behind whoever-it-is? No meals would be missed that way.
Oh, Simon! You are probably missing many lovely pats from not allowing the Front Door Folk to see you. You are so handsome and you shouldn’t be afraid to show it.
We wonder what’s going on at your house, Simon. Maybe the noisy humans are building you a giant cat tree! Or bringing in a year’s worth of cat treats! Be sure to let us know, OK? XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia
We agree with you, Simon. The front door opening can be pretty scary! We hope the ingress and egress slow down a bit for you, so you don’t miss any more meals!
Neighbors who come over twice in the same day are unbearable
Uh oh…I wonder what’s being delivered?
I would bet your mom and dads are good neighbors.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
Oh Simon, we love it when we hear. someone at the front door – it usually means some extra attention for us. You should give it a try, Simon – you might find it fun making new friends.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Pobre gatito. Te mando un beso.
Charlee: “Hmm, maybe you could block off all the doors and get food lowered down the chimney?”
Lulu: “How is food going to get lowered down the chimney?”
Charlee: “Logistics is a human problem. But if Santa can manage it, so can food.”
Don’t miss meals, Simon. Can’t be that scary.
Not even us humans appreciate folks coming inside here. ~hugs~ But it’s better than lacking modern conveniences. 😀 Right?
