Yes, just keep on moving along. From the title, I can tell you, it’s not what you think. But today we’re thankful for something that kept moving along. We’ve not had many predators here for a good long while but the other night, shortly after Midnight, we had a coyote wander through our yard. We caught it on our security cameras. He didn’t stop, he just walked through our backyard, along the side of the house and down the front yard. Yes, just keep moving along.
Of course of ferals live in our backyard area and we’re thankful that all were present and accounted for the next day. The Dad and Mom are very protective of our ferals and they will sure be on the lookout for any strange and dangerous visitors.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Yes, it’s good that the coyote just keep on keeping on, Brian.
Yikes I’m glad that coyote just moved right along too! I’m sympathetic to wild animals, whose habitats are shrinking, but I don’t want them anywhere near our ferals and/or close outside anywhere we live with our indoor kitties.
Yikes! I, too, am glad your coyote visitor kept moving along! 😮
Uy que bueno que el coyote no hizo nada. Te mando un beso.
We have coyotes around here, too, and i’m thankful we haven’t seen any in our specific area in a while.
I hope this one stays gone!
Brian that must have been a shock to see on the cam…thank goodness Wiley Coyote just kept moving and the feral family are ok
Hugs Cecilia
We’re so glad that coyote kept right on moving, Brian!
we hope wile e. coyote will wander far away from you and he will find a place where he can not bother you….
Oh, wow, a coyote! Mama saw them in Beverly Glen in LA where she lived and in face, lost a little kitty to one long ago. So glad there was no trouble.
Your ferals are so lucky that you take such great care of them. You’re right, it’s best for the dangerous ones to just keep moving along.
Purrs,
The Chans
Can’t imagine a a coyote in my backyard…I guess you guys don’t live in the city, do you? Brian, are you eating enough? You look like that you have lost some weights.
We hear there’s a coyote wandering around here too – Mom and Dad are being EXTRA watchful……Stay Safe!!
Hugs, Teddy
Yeah, sometimes ya “Just Keep On Moving Along” ta get through life…
We get a scare from a squirrel jumping up on the window ledge outside, much less a coyote 😸😺
Brian, a coyote is a very exciting animal to see. But like you, it’s a good thing all the kitties were accounted for the next day. Hopefully they know how to climb a tree and find a small place to hide if anything comes after them. Thanks for the update.
That is very scary. We see coyotes sometimes on our early morning outings. Every year they kill several smaller dogs even dogs in fenced yards. Scary stuff. Glad the ferals are alright.
They are everywhere. I posted a pic in FB last year of one very thin..VERY thin one lying in the middle of a road on the center lines just outside of town. His head was up…but he looked completely defeated and tired. Probably ill. I felt very sorry for him. I wished I could move him out of the roadway but I knew it would not be wise.
We are very happy to hear that the coyote kept going without doing any harm.
Yep, you gotta keep those coyotes moving along, Brian!
I am thankful the coyote didn’t get any ferals. I wouldn’t mind if coyotes became extinct. Thank you for hosting. Have a great day. XO
oh no on the coyote, they love cats and not in a good way. we have only seen one twice. I hope he moves on to another house and yard and that the ferals can get up high and away from him
We’re glad to hear your visitor moved along and all your ferals showed up for breakfast the next morning.
So thankful the coyote kept moving on and the ferals are all safe ~ Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Java Bean: “We see lots of coyotes here! Fortunately they stay outside our fence, but they got into our neighbor’s yard at least once.”
Lulu: “The neighbors need a dog to patrol their yard.”
Chaplin: “Are you and Bean volunteering?”
Lulu: “Heck no!!!”
Yikes! Having a coyote wander thru is very upsetting if you have Ferals. Glad to hear he kept moving along and all Ferals accounted for – whew!
ugh, fearful of predators. Even as one of the big animals, humans have to be wary too, so I’m glad the coyote caught the next train out. When I watch animal shows, I sometimes blur the lines of who I’m rooting for, the hyena mama feeding her babies or the prey running from her… but I’m sure glad your ferals are wary and no one got hurt. One day in Maryland, Cole and I were out walking and a coyote was within 10 feet! Cole turned his head the other way and walked faster, so I did too and luckily… Read more »
I’m glad he kept moving along. I know your peeps are ever vigilant with the wild messing with your ferals. Bravo.
Today I’m thankful that our kitchen remodel is down to a couple of things left to do. I’ll even do a Thankful Thursday post when it’s done so everyone can see the transformation.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties and my best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
Good to hear the intruder just wandered on and all ferals are accounted for.
Pixie you jumped on the switch twice! Oh well. I’m sure Brian and his friends will be able to fix it. Just keep moving predators. Just keep moving! Always a pleasure to join you meow
Coyotes are pretty common around here, but luckily none have wandered into our backyard! So glad all the ferals are accounted for!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
oh my that would be completely terrifying! Today I am thankful that Roary is getting his sutures taken out later today! YAY! Hopefully we won’t have to keep he and Levi separated any longer!
I am glad that coyote kept moving on!
Nature keeps throwing curve balls at the sweet ferals.
Looks so concentrated 😀
Whew, glad that coyote kept moving along. We have a lot of coyote reports in our area, but thankfully we haven’t seen one near our yard for a long time. Knock on wood.
woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Very scary! Hope he doesn’t return anytime soon.
Sound like your mom and day are wonderful people.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
So glad everyone is safe and accounted for!
Glad the ferals are OK. I’m worried about outside kitties around here. You may have seen pics of our orange skies when the air quality was well over 400. Bye bye coyote.
Your mom and dad are special folk, loving on all of you and loving the feral babes also.
WOW that is scary but I am so relieved and happy the ferals are safe from the coyote, thanks for your Thursday Blog Hop and have a safe wonderful weekend
There’s been sightings of coyotes around here, too, but we haven’t seen any. Of course, we don’t have a cam for at night. Mommy is very careful when we go out in the dark, though. We hope that one at your house doesn’t take up residence nearyby!
Wow, we’re supurr thankful Wiley Coyote didn’t see the ferals too! That would have been awful, truly deeply awful. We understand that these predators need snacks just like anypawdy else, but go find some in the forest elsewhere, like really faraway dude!
Whew! That was a close call. The ferals must have kept very quiet and still. I, too, am thankful that all your outdoor kitties are present and accounted for.
Crikey it must be so worrying to have predators just wander through your garden and I’m so pleased everybody was safe the next day. We forget how lucky we are in the UK not having any form of dangerous wildlife xxx
We’re Thankful that the coyote just was passing by…phew, what a relieve🙀Double Pawkisses for all of you. We try to come back later to catch up on you🐾😽💞
Yikes!
