REMINDER: Dad is having his fun medical procedure today so we’ll be around to visit you just as soon as we can.
Hello everyone, thanks to you all for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Some of you wondered what we had delivered last week. Sorry, I don’t think any of us ever mentioned what is was. The Mom and Dad adopted a new refrigerator, yep, they did. The one that had lived here for a long while was going bonkers. Sometimes it would cool, sometimes not, and then it would freeze up the milk. I don’t know much about those big boxes but freezing up milk doesn’t sound right, unless you’re making ice cream MOL!
Let me tell you, that was one noisy big box too. When the water ran to make ice it would wake us up from a sound sleep. When the ice dropped in the ice cube box probably even the neighbors heard it. That really wasn’t fun in the middle of the night, so all of us are pretty thankful that the Mom and Dad adopted a new refrigerator, this new one sure is quiet.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We are purring for your Dad, Brian, that the results of his test are meh.
A new fridge…that’s big!
Our refrigerator was purchased in 1994 and still going strong. ~fingers crossed~ The deep freezer bought five years later was out of service for years but brought back to life. Again, I hope for the best. 😀 Blessings to you and yours!
We’re purring and praying that all goes well with Dad Terry’s procedure. Hooray for the new fridge. Ours is pretty darned old, but it just seems to keep on working. Knock on wood!
Me alegra el nuevo refrigerador. Espero que la operación sea un excito y todo salga bien. Les mando un beso.
Hooray for a new fridge! It’s a blessing to have one at all.
I’m praying your dad’s procedure showed all is well.
Thnk you for the Rainbow Fiends reminder and ooh boy a new Fridge (with non-frozen milk MOL!!)
I hope they made special spot in fridge for the cats treats.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
OH, A NEW FRIDGE! Heaven…at least you have ice cubes that drop somewhere! Mama has to use those old-timey pull up trays to make cubes. But the trays are retro, haha. Back in style. And above all, we hope your papa is going to be fine and dandy.
Crossig fingers and paws for Brian.
we can not agree more… thanks ceiling cat for having this coll box thingy. all the best to your daddy….
That “fun” procedure your Dad is having really isn’t all that fun (so says my Mom!) but we hope everything comes out alright (no pun intended). We are thankful for lots of things today – one of those things is having you all as our friends!!!!! Are you going to have a welcome party for the new refrig?????
hugs, Teddy
I hope your dad’s procedure goes well. I am glad your new fridge is quiet. Fridges and freezers always seem to go wrong at the hottest time of the year!
I am seriously grateful for well running refrigerator, and friends like you Brian. Hope your dad keeps healthy and shiny coat! Aloha
That is a bummer the fridge died, but I bet everyone is loving the new one! Hope it has a long life.
Brian, we know you will be waiting right there for Dad to get home today.
First, good luck to your dad, I’m sending lots of healing energy his way!
Second, I laughed at the description of your fridge, Brian. I had to replace mine a year ago, so I can relate!
Mommy said she wouldn’t adopting oner herself!
we need to get a new one too…and let us know how the medical procedure went!
so the new fridge is both a curse and a blessing at the same time…. Da Phenny and Da nelly got one last week when theirs died. glad you could find one, seems these days they are not easy to find when there is a NEED
Having a new cold box is a good thing, Brian. Purrs to your dad that all goes well today.
Thinking of your dad today. Mine is in a couple of years.
Great on the new fridge. When they go bonkers they can do some strange things. I’m glad all is quiet now.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to all the kitties and my best to your peeps. ♥
Praying all goes well today. How sweet of your folks to adopt a new fridge. Thanks for hosting. XO
June was prodding me to write the old joke about “is your refrigerator running?” …. but she did not win out on what to say today (and we’re thankful for that!). So we’ll just say, hoping all goes well for the Daddy of the house …
A new fridge is difficult to come by these days, so your parents are lucky to find a good replacement.
Yay for a new refrigerator. Purrs to your Dad.

We are praying a purring that all is well with your Dad. A new refrigerator! I am jealous. My fridge is 27 years old and doing fine. Hope it keeps chillin’ a while longer.
We are glad to hear that your new fridge is giving you full satisfaction.
We hope that all will go smoothly with your Dad’s procedure.
Purrs,
The Chans
My ancient fridge has done the freezing thing too. I was able to get a new part for it though to hopefully keep it around for a few more years!
Seems like a lot of noise for something that just keeps the food cold.
Hope all went well with your dad yesterday. And yay for working refrigerators!
That’s an adorable picture of Brian, Mister Sleepyhead! I hope Dad’s medical procedure went as smoothly and quickly as possible.
And congrats on the new baby in your house — the frid-GEErator! Their cousins the Alligator are cold-blooded naturally, but I assume this new generation is electric. May it last many a year, perform well, and not act up!
Sending prayers your way with woof and love from Layla
We’re sending oodles of pawsitive and healing vibes for your epic dad, and hope he’s recovered soon! And exciting news on the new refrigerator, here’s hoping it’s supurr quiet, especially when the ice drops! (Ours is really noisy too when it does that) We hope mew all have a blessed weekend!
Whoa! Our’s is old and loud but not that loud. Of course it doesn’t make ice.
Brian, that is a totally adorable photo of you. We are thankful our mom has been refurbishing our cat trees. Congrats on the new fridge. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
