Hello everyone, did you see that? Nah, I didn’t either. I did see two fur streaks going by and I’m pretty sure it was Maxwell and Macy. Dang, those two sure are fast! I can still move pretty fast for my age, especially at medicine time, but I sure can’t run as quick as those two can. Well, Simon can keep up with them and Kiki does pretty good too.
Anyways, we had somewhat of a quiet weekend and we were all pretty happy about that. There were some of those thunder boomers around but the booms weren’t that bad at all. Yesterday Simon wasn’t even hiding, he was out all day which is pretty unusual for him.
Hey, guess what else is going on. Someone here has a Gotcha Day this week. Really they do and Gotcha Days are just the best. If you can, please stop by on Wednesday and celebrate with Kiki. It’s her first Gotcha Day and it’s sure hard to believe that it will be a year since that sweet girl joined the family.

Brian, we’re glad the Thunder Boomers weren’t too bad. Poor Precious was on my legs last night when the one hit here. Of course she went straight under the bed bless her heart.

We got some rain, too. The wet and moldy conditions are hard on my allergies. Ugh! I’m ready for it to be over with for a long while. Hey, I can’t run fast, not that I ever did, anymore, either. I realize this all the more every time I’m with my little granddaughter. She’s such a bundle of energy! Have a pawsome week, my frurriend!

A year already???!?! WOW!
The boomers around here weren’t too bad, either. The loudest noise here was some idiot in the ball field across the street shooting off a lone firecracker last night at about 11pm. Thankfully, I’d already taken the Zs out for their bedtime potty breaks.
Chaplin: “Our Dada thought maybe when you said ‘That was fast’ you were talking about the weekend, which I guess goes by almost as fast as a couple of speeding youngsters.”
Oona: “Does it really? Oona never noticed.”
Chaplin: “Dada says that’s because you don’t have a job.”
Oona: “Oona does too have a job.”
Chaplin: “Oh? What is it?”
Oona: “Being a ninja.”
Chaplin: “And what does a ninja do?”
Oona: “Oona cannot tell you! You are not a ninja!”
Ha! Kittens! Our Kittens are grown and sometimes they still run circles around me. You’re lookin’ good, Brian! We’ll try to be here for Kiki’s Gotcha!

You had the boomies over the weekend, too? We had a few and some rain but luckily, not nearly as many or as much as parts of the province to our south. Actually, I think the boomies we heard here might have been happenin’ down there. Saffy didn’t have to hide in the basement like he usually does when they get super loud. purrs
We had boomers too plus a very loud rocket launch. We’ll be here to help Kiki celebrate.
