Hey gang, I hope all is okay with you, as Brian told you yesterday the storms have been noisy around here. Of course I was hiding but I came out pretty quickly when it was over. What Brian? I did come out the same day, that’s pretty quick! Hey, even the Dad was a bit nervous, but he sure can’t fit under my recliner.
But enough about the storms, I wanted to tell you about our evening playtime. Actually, I wanted to give a Meow-Out to our Dad for making sure that those of us who want to play actually get to play. Brian doesn’t play much anymore since he’s our elder and Seal was never much of a player. So, that leaves Maxwell, Macy, Kiki and me. You might not know this but Maxwell **whispers** is a bit of a play hog.
Anyways, Dad makes sure we all get a chance and he will rotate through the line up to ensure all is fair in love and toys. Our favorites are wand toys, we have three that we love. One has a mouse on the end, another has a crawly looking bug on the end and the one has feathers. They sure are fun!
Okay, that’s it for now. Have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Us angel kitties used to have a lot of fun with hose wand toys, too.
Good way to get fun and exercise at the same time!
Simon you are all super lucky to have a Dad who makes sure everyone has some playtime every day – sorry you have noisy storms – we NEED some rain here – lots of it – but “noisy rain” isn’t fun is it. Those boomers can send you under the furniture or into a closet!
Hugs, Teddy
Simon, I can only guess how busy your dad is trying to get everybody fit in for the day to have play time. It certainly keeps him on the move which is not a bad thing at all.
Best to hide when the wether is bad. The sun will be back some day. Happy wether in summer is all we need
I love love that all is fair and love and toys! You have a great dad! I know he has as much fun as you do playing with those toys. We enjoy playing with Bo as much as he and he enjoys playing. We just had an early morning 5 minute rain that included 20 minutes of boom booms and flashes we’re hoping it goes away quickly now because it’s almost time to walk and Mama doesn’t walk in lightning
It is a good thing to make sure Maxwell shares. He is probably just so excited he forgets about his siblings.
Gosh, I’ll take a notion every few days to actually play…for a very short time…and mom is so glad when I do.
It’s fun to have young siblings in house, right? Glad that you had a fun time, Simon.
Your dad spreads the play around; how excellent, Simon!
You guys have a great dad that plays with you!
That sounds like a lot of fun! There’s lots of pretty noisy playing going on with our youngsters, and they will soon have another playmate!
Purrs,
The Chans
Aw, Simon, I understand about your storm anxiety. My sweet angel, Callie, didn’t like storms either and would try to hide between my legs or in my lap. It always made me sad to see her so worried, as she was normally a very self-confident pupper. My first pup, Kissy, would snuggle up a little closer to me but that was it. Shadow and all my other pups since – including the Zs – would bark at loud thunder, but otherwise carry on as if nothing was happening. I’m glad your playtime is “fair and fun” – that’s always a… Read more »
Your dad is the bestest, Simon!
A play hog, that makes it hard for the rest of the kitties. You are such a pretty babe. Lily Bit has two play toys, laser light and cat dancer. Misty, just give her something to bat around and leave the room. haha….she likes playing alone. Lily likes mom to play with her. I can save money on toys for sure.
you have one smart and fair Daddy!!
Oh what a fun Dad to play with you ~ fun time is great ~ Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Your peeps rock on being fair at playtime. I didn’t have a doubt.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
I hope you spoke to your Mom about being sure to buy Your PLAYFUL DAD a special treat this week.
I love that bench BTW
Hugs Cecilia
That’s very kind of your Dad, Simon! Your beautiful green eyes are stunning in that photo. Looks like I will have a plain pic with comments for a few days while we sort out tech issues.
So the post ok, yay.
Oona: “Oona is also a fan of wand toys! Perhaps one day she can come and visit and participate in play time!”
Chaplin (whispering): “Don’t do it. She will sneak up behind you and tackle you when you’re not looking.”
Oona: “WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT OONA?!”
Chaplin: “Nothing!!!”
Our kitties love the wand toys best too and our Elf is the toy hog in our house – MOL!
Your dad sounds as great as our dad. Around here he is the one that makes sure we get plenty of play time, too. Of course, since we are both senior dogs, we don’t require much play time.
We love wand toys too. Glad your Dad didn’t try to get under the recliner!
We are glad you are out of hiding Simon!!
Dad’s are the best, aren’t they? Our Daddy always makes sure each of us girls gets equal playtime and lovies!!
xoxo,
Rosy and Sunny
Jack and Sophie like to chase the little blue light that I turn on and off bouncing around the room.
How sweet of your dad to give you lots of play time. Tuffy is our playtime hog. 🙂
We’re glad those storms passed by, Simon. We don’t blame you for hiding a bit! Glad you came out to play with Dad, Maxwell and Macy, though. Those wand toy sound like fun!
You have such wonderful peeps!
Your Dad is wise to make sure everyone has time and no one is left out.
Your Dad might win the Top Pet Parent Award
Oh que lindos y juguetones. Te mando un beso.
That’s nice to know what toys you like, Seal. Ours are all stuffies. It’s usually just me and Riley (the youngest and the oldest) but sometimes Xena grabs one to entice me to play with her. XOXOXOX Chia
Play is so important. 😀 Your family is awesome.
Play some wand toy for me, tonight!
