Hello everyone, thanks to you all for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today we’re thankful that in our immediate area we dodged the storms. Our friends in the Northeast have been hit really hard and we’re sending tons of purrs and prayers their way. We’re thankful for all of the first responders who have performed hundreds of water rescues to help save lives. The first responders are always there when we need them and we’re so thankful they are there.
We’re also thankful that our pals Melissa and Mudpie from Vermont has said that they are okay. Even though Vermont was hit really hard, in their immediate area it wasn’t all that bad. That’s a real sigh of relief and we’re thankful that that are okay.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Dear Brian and Sibs and Staff
I too am so thankful your friends are ok in Vermont.
Such a beautiful state and I send so many prayers to all.
It is hot as HE double hockey sticks here and only gonna get hotter. We heard potential feels like 108 on Sat and Sunday
Cool hugs
Cecilia
So happy your blog friends are safe, that storm and all that rain has been on TV for two days. so glad all of you are in the south with us. we watched an areial view of Vermont and it is horrid.
We too are lucky that damaging storms moved north of us, while we only received some rain and thunder.
It’s hard on all of us, people, animals and even the plants and trees when those storms come through. I’m glad all is well where you are.
I hope everyone stays safe. Best wishes, my dears.
We’re sorry that Vermont was hit so hard, we feel for them. But I’m alsoglad that Melissa and Mudpie are okay. And we’re happy that your area was okay, too, Brian. Storms can really be a menace, we know because we were in a direct hit from an EF4.
We are sure glad you dodged those scary storms, Brian. Vermont got it really bad, but we were glad to hear Melissa and Mudpie are safe.
Me alegro que estén bien y sin tormentas eléctricas. Te mando un beso.
There are so many things we should be thankful every day…I am very grateful that you guys and your friends in Vermont are safe.
Its good to know our friends are safe.
We were under a tornado watch, and while we had severe thunderstorms, we didn’t have a tornado…the radar sure looked scary though…we’re thankful we are unscathed.
We are thankful for the much needed rain…
Glad our friends are ok!
I’m thankful for my little granddougther, my little Dove
We’re glad you’re OK……we keep getting weather reports that say we’ll have bad storms but so far we haven’t. We’d like some rain but NOT “bad” storms!!
Hugs, Teddy
We are thankful we have had cooler weather for a few days around here.
Those storms are scary. We are having some rain but so pfar no storms. Hope the weather calms down…and cools down.
I didn’t know Melissa and Mudpie lived in Vermont. Oh thank goodness they are alright!
I’m glad you’re all okay too, Brian, and that you weren’t impacted by the storms. I saw brief news coverage of parts of Vermont, it was incredible (and not in a good way). Scary. Prayers to all.
All that flooding is terrible, Brian! I send purrs to all those affected.
Glad you dodged the storms. We were lucky too being that we are near Vermont. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
We’re thankful for all the first responders, too. There was some flooding south of us, but we barely got any rain.
We’re glad everyone is safe!
Charlee: “Dodging the storms seems preferable to riding them out, whatever REO Speedwagon might say!”
Prayers for those affected. I’m glad you dodged the storms.
I’m thankful I found all of you. So many wonderful bloggers to enjoy.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday and rest of the week. Scritches all around and my best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
So glad to hear you weren’t bothered by those storms, and same with Melissa & Mudpie, thanks for the update on them too. Stay safe and dry everyone!
I slept on the couch last night because we were under a tornado watch from 9pm til 3am. I was worried about the boys and wanted quick access to them in case we had to go to the basement of our building. The storms that hit us were the ones that came from Chicago a few hours earlier, that spawned a number of tornadoes including at least one in downtown Chicago. Thankfully, when the storms hit us they weren’t as bad. I was also glad when I connected with Melissa on FB that she didn’t have any of that flooding.… Read more »
isn’t that the truth…. storms have been mighty lately all over, and sudden, destructive
it’s always a blessing when they don’t destroy us

We are also sending POTP to those in the NorthEast affected by the storms. We are thankful your friends are safe, and you all have dodged the storms!

So glad you all are safe! Hope you are having a wonderful July
We are so glad that none of our bloggers have been hit by catastrophic weather, so far, and hope that continues. As I am writing, we have a tornado and thunderstorm warnings, but it appears that it is the west end that was affected, and we are out farther in the east. But, it’s not over yet. We hope you all keep comfy-cozy.
It’s been a very scary week, but we’re so thankful to have been spared from the horrible flooding. We’re very thankful for all our friends well wishes too! Love you guys.
We pray for those suffering in Vermont and other parts of the state too.
This morning we had thunder off in the distance.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
So glad you all dodged the storms! We had a fast moving hard storm tonight that took down two trees and just missed our pool! Luckily, the kids who are always right out there were not today when those tall trees came crashing down! Vermont and north of us did indeed get hit bad…broken road, flooding, sadly some missing folks. Hope you all stay cozy and safe!
I’m glad the storm missed you!
Wow, we hadn’t seen the news about the storms. That’s scary. We were supposed to get some yesterday and today, but none so far. It’s soooo humid, though.
We are really sorry Mom did not post today, and so we didn’t get to join the hop. She’s thankful that when we lost power Wednesday night that is was not out until 5 a.m., as the power company had predicted. Yeah, we had a really bad t-storm yesterday a.m. So bad that even *I* heard the thundering. Stay safe and I’m glad Mudpie is ok where she is.
We’re so glad that your friends are all ok, the crazy weather happening everywhere is really bonkers right now! And we’re really purrleased that Melissa and Mudpie are fine, what a relief! It’s been torrential rain, and wind here for the last couple of days and prior to that, just constant rain. Happy Sunday to mew all!
