Hello everyone, thanks to you all for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’d like to say that I’m most thankful to have had an uneventful Vet visit this week. Outside of the long ride, the Vet visit was a piece of cake. I got my shot, some fluids, B12 and some meds to go and the Dad and I were off headed towards home. That monoclonal antibodies shot kicked in and I’m moving around lots better now. I’m really thankful for that.
We’re also thankful for black cats, they rock ya know! Today is Black Cat Appreciation Day and we’re all most thankful to have Maxwell as a part of our family. He’s off to the Vet today so I know he’d be thankful for some purrs and prayers. Maxwell is our first black cat, believe it or not. We’ve always said it was luck of the draw with our family but we’re thankful that Maxwell was a part of the latest draw.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Good to read that your vet visit was a yawn, Brian.

Really good news on your vet visit, Brian! We’re happy to send loads of purrs for Maxwell’s vet visit, and oh yes on the black cats. We’re happy to say that of the wanderers who have chosen to live with us, many were black kitties.
We’re so happy you did good at the vet, Brian! And we’re purring that Maxwell has a good visit, too. We agree — black cats rock!

Always a good day when you get a A+ from Dr. Vet … and we’ve paws crossed that it will be the same for Maxwell today …
Good news for you Brian, we wish for good news on Maxwell also. Be sure to let us know how it goes for that cute little black Kitty.
I am so happy you came to be the first Black Cat.. kind of like if you were in the white house with the President. which means we are thankful you are not there since they have a biting dog. Big Boy was our first black dog and he was wonderful, just like you. we think black cats and dogs are hard to see in the shelters, they blend in and don’t stand out. we love all cats and all dogs no matter the color. Adopt a Black cat they deserve it. hugs and POTP coming with you to the… Read more »
Mom had her one black cat and she was gorgeous, but she was also very afraid her whole life. We don’t know what happened to her when she was a young kitten. Maxwell, you are a lucky fellow. Good luck at the vet tomorrow.
Brian, I’m glad that you’re vet visit was easy (as easy as it gets!) and that you were out quickly and headed home. Lots of purrs from my angels for Maxwell, I hope it’s also a quick in/out for him! ♥
Happy black cat day, Maxwell. And remember, when you are going to the vet, if you get the chance, DON’T run! Things will just go from bad to worse. Love to you all, Lucy, Riley and Xena (Chia isn’t joining in because she thinks running is the best thing to do.)
Brian, I love you so I am particularly glad you are doing so well!! Maxwell…you are a stunning panfur!!
Happy news – glad you are doing well Brian.
Im grateful that Tank, a big black cat (worthy of his name) was adopted yesterday from the PAWS shelter.

Glad your vet visit went well, Brian. Y’know…that shot thing didn’t work very well for me which is too bad. I’m happy it’s helping you.
I’m so glad you are feeling better.
I find black cats mysterious and fascinating 🐾
Happy Thursday!

I’m so sorry. First, I was on Mimi’s blog thinking I was signing into the six-word hop. Every time I clicked my picture, it wouldn’t do anything, so I thought it wasn’t working. Is there a way to remove me from this faut pax?
LOTs of thanks for your good new Brian. You and Dad had a nice guy road trip.
Maxwell is a most handsome Black cat and we all appreciate him
Hugs Cecilia
Yay for uneventful Vet visits!!!! Yay for black cats!! xoxo
Chaplin: “We are glad you had a boring vet visit, Brian! Those are the best kind!”
Oona: “Yeah, Black Cat Day! Oona has her own day! What do you think of that? Ninja cats rock!”
Charlee: “You might have better luck as a ninja if you don’t go around announcing that you’re a ninja all the time.”
Oona: “OONA IS A PROUD NINJA!!!”
black cats are gorgeous. I’ve only had black dogs because I love them! that takes nothing away from an orange cat either. Love them all, it’s just a little pigment y’all…
Black cats are the very best and I’ve had many over the years.
I’m thankful for finding all you kitties and your wonderful peeps. I’m also thankful that I took my knowledge test at the DMV and have renewed my license for the next five years. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. I couldn’t believe it.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday and rest of the week. Scritches to all the kitties and my best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
Today I’m thankful for so much: for 19-year-old Tyler who’s as healthy as can be; for the time I spent with Angel Jaimz before he succumbed to CKD; always for the beautiful panther kitties; and most especially for all the people who love and help cats. Like you.
I’m happy for you that your vet visit was uneventful and that your m.a. shot has kicked in to help you move better! And here are some sweet woofs from the Z Kids and kisses from me for Maxwell. 😘😘😘 Ducky often moved like a cat when she was stalking the resident squirrels, so Happy Black Cat Appreciation Day to Maxwell from all of us, especially Angel Ducky.
We sure hope that Maxwell’s visit is as uneventful and smooth as yours, Brian, especially on his special day! We’ve only had 2 black cats over all the years we’ve had cats, but we love them and wouldn’t mind having another some day! 🙂
Yay for uneventful Vet visits!! We are sending POTP in hopes Maxwell has the same outcome!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
Glad to hear the good vet news. Hoping for more good news tomorrow.

Glad you had a good vet visit. Black cats are beautiful.
I didn’t know there is a black cat day.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
Wonderful news about your non-eventful vet visit, and purrs for Maxwell too! I’ve actually never had a black cat either, but they’re pawsome!
We are glad your vet visit went ok Brian – and we send Maxwell some special black kitty purrayers and POTP that his visit goes well too !
Happy Black Cat Day Maxwell!
Uneventful vet visits are the best
Oh, so great to hear it was an uneventful vet visit! That’s always good!
Oh, Black Cat Appreciation…in honor of our “adopted” beautiful feral tuxedo cat, Binx…lucky he was “ours” for 8+ years and now happy with another family *he* adopted! Love black cats! In my childhood I had TC (remember that cat cartoon?!), our very first black cat who owned the rocking chair in our family room! (Just ask him)!
Good report from your vet visit. Love black cats! Yay for Maxwell! My Boots had some beautiful white markings but his shiny black coat made me love him. It is good to hear everyone seems to be doing so well and it makes us smile. I am late but I am here. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Here are cheers to an uneventful Vet visit and black cats!

Epic news about the vet visit Brian – woo hoooo dude! And we hope Maxwell is ok and will send him oodles of purrs. Not much to report here, all quiet on the BBHQ front, which we are truly thankful for! Happy weekend guys!
Black cats are beautiful! On our evening walk last night, we crossed paths with a black cat!

I’m so happy your vet visit went so well. You’re right – black cats rock! I had several and they were all amazing little furry beings with such beautiful personalities. I hope Maxwell’s vet visit went just as well. I know I always hold my breath until I get the all-clear. Here’s to an all-clear and a great week ahead!
